High scalability and resource availability are important aspects of managing a scalable system. Problems related to resource management to meet data requests at once can be quite serious because it can burden server performance. Using container technology, the load balancing approach is our solution to this problem to optimize resource availability on highly scalable systems. The type of load balancer used is HAProxy with the round-robin method because of the high ease and flexibility in configuration quickly and precisely. We measure throughput, latency, and CPU usage to determine the performance and success of a load balancer in managing workloads. Several experiments found that CPU usage on several servers was almost evenly distributed with a difference of 1-2% and a latency difference between servers of around 1 ms. The load balancer works well and manages to divide the workload. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
