Background: Knowledge resources are in most productive sectors distinctive in terms of competitiveness. Still, in the health sector, they can have an impact on the health of the population, help make the organisations more efficient and can help improve decision-making processes. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Intellectual Capital impact on healthcare organization' performance in the Italian healthcare system. Methods: The theoretical framework linked to intellectual Capital in the health sector and the performance evaluation related to efficiency supports the analysis carried out in two stages to determine the right placement of resources and the exogenous variables that influence performance level. The evaluation of the impact of the ICs on performance is determined through the Data envelopment analysis. The incidence of the exogenous variables has been established through linear regression. Results: Empirical results in Italy show some IC components influence organization 'performance (Essential Levels of Assistance) and could be used for defining the policy of allocation of resources in healthcare sector. The efficiency of 16 regions considered in 2016 based on Slack-Based-Model constant returns-to-scale (SBM-CRS) and Slack-Based-Model variable returns-to-scale (SBM-VRS) identifies a different ability to balance IC and performance. Current healthcare expenditure and the number of residents is correlated with the identified efficiency and performance levels. Conclusions: This paper embeds an innovative link between healthcare performance, in term of efficiency and IC which aligns resource management with future strategy. It is well proven that the research on electric vehicles (EV) offers an outstanding contribution in identifying the variables that influence consumers' behaviour in support of sustainable mobility. Therefore, the study aims to investigate the main factors that can significantly influence consumers' purchasing choices. The analysis intends to examine and enrich what academics have already observed based on the observations within practitioners' publications. This study moves in this direction by conducting a content analysis through Leximancer of 3254 articles connected to consumers' behaviour in the market of electric vehicles. The comparison between academics and professionals better identifies positive and negative aspects that affect consumers' willingness to buy electric vehicles, as well as detecting common factors, practical or theoretical gaps, and valuable evidence for future developments. This paper explores how urban planners can use a hybrid organization to manage smart city initiatives. We use an inductive qualitative case study approach based on connecting emergent concepts through Gioia's method to answer the following research question: " How can hybrid organizations manage a complex network of actors in smart city initiatives ?". The study highlights that in managing smart city initiatives, hybrid organizations benefit from actor-network theory. Additionally, for a more in-depth view, the study investigates the framework provided by Chourabi to test the hybridity theory. Overall, the results suggest that hybridity is feasible and increases the output directed towards citizens. The paper contributes to the existing literature on both hybrid organizations and smart cities. We conclude that despite the conventional distinction between public and private entities, managing smart city initiatives that include complex factors such as new technologies may require the adoption of hybrid management solutions by urban planners, especially when multidisciplinary and complex skills are required. Thus, smart city solutions are most effective when combined with hybrid management models. This research has utility for urban planners, policymakers, and researchers. Business model architectures in the car industry are gaining increased attention from scientists and policymakers. Although scientific studies have been conducted to address the pressures faced by future business models to change, no research has examined the bibliometric variables in this area. This study aims to fill the gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of 104 articles on business models for electric cars. The analysis showed that the literature on business models for electric cars is exhaustive, and it focuses on business model decisions for charging technologies, driver services, electricity management, commercial contracts, and plant. China, the United States of America, and Germany have conducted the maximum number of studies on the aforementioned theme. The topic dendrogram identified two evolving strands of discussions—innovative technologies and resource optimization and electricity management systems and product life cycle. The diffusion of the New Public Management philosophy determines an increasing innovation in the public field. The need for open innovation management is relevant to improve and also increase performance in healthcare organizations. Moreover, this is strictly connected with an efficient accounting and information system able to process, store and share data. Through an inductive approach to the consideration of needs, this paper deals with the social open innovation theory, the innovation of cycle theory, and the microcosting approach.
