The main aim of this research is to examine the impact of communication skills of school administrators on organizational climate, base on the views of preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens in Diyarbakır central districts (Bağlar, Kayapınar, Sur, Yenişehir). Relational scanning model was used in this research designed as a descriptive study. The population of the study consists of 270 preschool teachers working in 28 official independent kindergartens in the central districts of Diyarbakır province in the 2018-2019 academic year. As the population has been tried to be reached by not taking samples. For this purpose, the scale was delivered to 241 teachers employed in 27 formal independent kindergartens and the all returning scales were evaluated. As data collection tool, "Communication Skills Scale" and "Organizational Climate Scale" were used. Data obtained from the study was analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) package programme. For (Independent) samples in the analysis of data, t - test, one - way varlence analysis (ANOVA), Kruskal-Wallis H Test, Scheffe and Mann-Whitney U test were used. In addition, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was performed to determine the levels of independent variables predicting dependent variables. According to the findings, while preschool teachers think that school managers have higher level of communication skills for "informing", independent kindergartens have higher level of "organizational aim" in terms of organizational climate. In addition, it has been found that the communication skills of school administrators for "informing" and "attitude and behavior" are meaningful predicters on the organizational climate in kindergartens. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the school management in monitoring and implementing the guidelines established by the school administration in order to ensure the continuity of primary school students based on the opinions of the school management. The research was characterized by descriptive survey model. The study population consisted of 512 school administrators working in 220 primary and secondary schools in the central districts of Diyarbakir (Bağlar, Kayapınar, Yenişehir, Sur). The sample consisted of 217 school administrators included in the study. The stratification sampling method was used to show the distribution of primary school administrators in four central regions. The 1"School Management Policies in Student Continuity Scale", consisting of 37 items and 4 factors developed by the researchers, was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by SPSS package program. In the analysis, along with descriptive statistics were also independent samples t-test, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test was used. The research findings, policy school administrators most they apply in providing the students continuity "policies for cooperation's with managements and teachers," that if the policies they at least apply "policies for cooperation with education stakeholders and the school environment" has revealed. In addition, there were significant differences in terms of age, year of service, type of duty, and duration of working as a manager between the views of the managers. In particular, it was observed that school principals, who have more years, years of service and management period, have more effectively implemented and followed school management policies in order to ensure student continuity. The purpose of this research is to determine the basic administrative problems and solution suggestions for those problems in the process of preparing the new opening schools for education and training according to the views of founding administrators. As taking the criterion of having worked or working as founding administrator in Diyarbakır in 2015-2016 academic year into consideration, working group planned in phenomenology design consists of totally nine people, two of them are founding administrators during the research, seven of them worked as founding administrators before. The research data were collected with semi-structured interview forms developed by researcher by means of face to face interviews made with the founding administrators individually. Descriptive analysis was used in analyzing of the data. The findings of the research shows that founding administrators come across many problems regarding to administrative functions of school such as building and substructure, of new opening educational institutions, bureaucratic procedures, expenses for purchase of goods and services, assignments of teacher and auxiliary staff and registration of the students. This qualitative study aimed to determine the reasons of primary school students' absenteeism and dropout as well as what strategies school teachers and administrators use to eliminate those reasons. The study group was constituted a total of sixty participants, specifically thirty school administrators and thirty primary school teachers, who enrolled in Zirve University and Dicle University Social Sciences Institutes Common Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics M.S. Program. The opinions of administrators and teachers who participated in the study were gathered through interviews. Data obtained was analyzed by utilizing qualitative data analysis technique. According to findings of this study, the reasons of students' absenteeism and dropout were mostly resulted from families' insensitiveness to their children, economic handicaps of families, and incapable school facilities. In terms of strategies that administrators and teachers implement to diminish students' absenteeism and dropout, participants generally performed individual efforts such as getting contact with student' parents (guardian), devoting close attention to them, and giving responsibility. The aim of this study is to determine the pre-service teachers' view on PPSE (Public Personnel Selection Examination) Teaching Content Knowledge Examination. The population of the study consists of senior classes from Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education Primary Education Department, pre-service teachers who will take the PPSE Teaching Content Knowledge Examination in 2014 and graduate residents of Diyarbakır who were not assigned as teachers. The sample of this search consists of 604 pre-service teachers from primary education department. The research data was collected by "Opinion on PPSE Teaching Content Knowledge Examination Scale". The data collected from the scale have been analysed with SPSS packaged software. According to research findings, significant differences have been determined between the opinions gathered from the pre-service teachers according to gender, educational background and major branches parameters at the dimension of exam anxiety. The aim of this study is to determine the state of educational supervisors in regard with their burnout, job satisfaction, and professional development, based on the results of research conducted, considering the primary schools in Turkey. Therefore, to synthesize the qualitative and quantitative research results, a meta-synthesis method as a qualitative research design, was used in that study. The theses and dissertations carried out on the specified subject were scrutinized along with the inclusion and exclusion processes, and ultimately eight studies were included in the study. The findings obtained in this research were analyzed and synthesized according to meta-synthesis steps; and meta-synthesis study was practiced within the determined themes. In terms of burnout, job satisfaction, and professional development, the obtained findings revealed that supervisors experienced exhaustion and job satisfaction at low and moderate levels. In addition, the professional development levels of supervisors were found at moderate level according to the perceptions of supervisors and teachers. In this study, the impact of social capital on job satisfaction, and explaining level of social capital to job satisfaction have been tested. The participant group in the study consists of 222 persons. 120 of them are currently enrolled in post graduate program in Zirve University Institute of Social Sciences in Diyarbakir province, and 102 of them are school principals who are working in Yenişehir and Sur districts of Diyarbakir province. The correlational survey model was utilized as research methodology. The Social Capital Scale and Minnesota job satisfaction scale were the instruments used in this study. For conducting the confirmatory factor analyses of scales and the structural equation modeling, SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 17.0 software were used. The goodness fit index of the model was obtained as follows, RMSEA=.080; SRMR=.083; CMIN\DF=2,533; GFI=.924; CFI=.933; AGFI=.834; NFI=.903; Chi squared=2492,001; df=984 and p=.000. According to these results, the model fit index is at an acceptable and desired level. The most significant finding of this study is that social capital is an important predictor of job satisfaction. The aim of that research is, taking into consideration the researches done in Turkey related to the educational supervision in elementary schools, to determine the efficacy levels of education supervisors in performing their supervisory roles via a meta-synthesis method. The thesis and dissertations were scrutinized through inclusion and exclusion processes and ultimately 18 researches were chosen to be included in that study. In these researches, the findings that obtained through analysis and synthesis processes within the framework of metasynthesis research steps, a meta-synthesis study was carried out, along with the determined themes. In terms of performing supervisory roles, the obtained results revealed that supervisors found themselves efficient at high level. However, they were found efficient at "low" level by teachers and "medium" level by school principals. Some recommendations have been made concomitant with the obtained results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
