- Abstract
A molecular dynamics approach was used to simulate the vaporizations of five nanofluid films with different methane/ethane mixture ratios. The evaporative mass transfer characteristics of mixed media were analyzed from four aspects: evaporation phenomenon, energy change, fluctuation and dissipation law, and relative molecular vaporization. The results show that the larger the methane ratio in the mixture nanofluid film, the earlier the onset of vaporization, the more intense the vaporization process, the shorter the duration of vaporization, the thinner the fixed adsorption layer, and the smaller the increment of kinetic and potential energy of the simulated system. The presence of ethane inhibits the vaporization of methane. From the fluctuation and dissipation analysis, the larger the methane ratio, the stronger the promotion of ethane vaporization, the shorter the relaxation time of vaporization, the faster the overall vaporization rate, and the better the mass transfer effect.
