Zoige Wetland is the main runoff producing area in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. In order to study the change of hydrological situation of Zoige Wetland, the historical daily flow data of Jimai and Maqu stations on the main stream of the Yellow River, Tangke station on the Baihe River and Dashui station on the Heihe River which are the main tributaries of the Yellow River were selected. Mann Kendall method, cumulative anomaly method and Pettitt test were used to analyze the mutation characteristics of the four stations. The degree of hydrological indicator change in the comparison period and evaluation period of each station was comprehensively evaluated by using the (IHA-RVA) method and hydrological degree-change method. The results show that there is no significant mutation trend in the four stations. Compared with the comparison period, the overall hydrological change degree of the four stations is close to moderate change where Tangke station reaches moderate change. Among the 32 hydrological change indicators, the extreme high flow events are mainly reduced, as well as the high and low pulse frequencies. The maximum change degree is the change rate of hydrological conditions and the number of reversals. The increase rate and decrease rate of flow at Maqu, Jimai and Dashui stations are reduced, and the change degree of number of reduced reversals is moderate or even high except for Tangke station, which will have a certain impact on the river biological community. The research results can provide some technical support for the hydrological situation impact assessment of Zoige Wetland and the aquatic ecological security of the basin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
