Abstract

Highlights: [•] Impact of permanent bed planting on total SOC contents under IGP was evaluated. [•] Plots with permanent bed planting had higher total SOC than CT in the 0–5cm layer. [•] About 9.3% of the gross C input retained in 30cm soil under residue treated plots. [•] Nearly 8.6 and 10.2% of the gross C input retained under CT and ZT, respectively.
