Radiative transfer (RT) is a crucial ingredient for self-consistent modelling of numerous astrophysical phenomena across cosmic history. However, on-the-fly integration into radiation hydrodynamics (RHD) simulations is computationally demanding, particularly due to the stringent time-stepping conditions and increased dimensionality inherent in multifrequency collisionless Boltzmann physics. The emergence of exascale supercomputers, equipped with extensive CPU cores and GPU accelerators, offers new opportunities for enhancing RHD simulations. We present the first steps towards optimizing arepo - rt for such high-performance computing environments. We implement a novel node-to-node (n-to-n) communication strategy that utilizes shared memory to substitute intranode communication with direct memory access. Furthermore, combining multiple internode messages into a single message substantially enhances network bandwidth utilization and performance for large-scale simulations on modern supercomputers. The single-message n-to-n approach also improves performance on smaller scale machines with less optimized networks. Furthermore, by transitioning all RT-related calculations to GPUs, we achieve a significant computational speedup of around 15 for standard benchmarks compared to the original CPU implementation. As a case study, we perform cosmological RHD simulations of the Epoch of Reionization, employing a similar setup as the THESAN project. In this context, RT becomes sub-dominant such that even without modifying the core arepo codebase, there is an overall threefold improvement in efficiency. The advancements presented here have broad implications, potentially transforming the complexity and scalability of future simulations for a wide variety of astrophysical studies. Background: Communication is a multifaceted process, ranging from linear, one-way approaches, such as transmitting a simple message, to continuous exchanges and feedback loops among stakeholders. In particular the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the critical need for timely, effective and credible evidence communication to increase awareness, levels of trust, and evidence uptake in policy and practice. However, whether to improve policy responses in crises or address more commonplace societal challenges, comprehensive guidance on evidence communication to decision-makers in health policies and systems remains limited. Our objective was to identify and systematize the global evidence on frameworks, guidance and tools supporting effective communication of research evidence to facilitate knowledge translation and evidence-informed policy-making processes, while also addressing barriers and facilitators. Methods: We conducted a rapid scoping review following the Joanna Briggs Manual. Literature searches were performed across eight indexed databases and two sources of grey literature, without language or time restrictions. The methodological quality of included studies was assessed, and a narrative-interpretative synthesis was applied to present the findings. Results: We identified 16 documents presenting either complete frameworks or framework components, including guidance and tools, aimed at supporting evidence communication for policy development. These frameworks outlined strategies, theoretical models, barriers and facilitators, as well as insights into policy-makers' perspectives, communication needs, and preferences. Three primary evidence communication strategies, comprising eleven sub-strategies, emerged: "Health information packaging", "Targeting and tailoring messages to the audience", and "Combined communication strategies". Based on the documented barriers and facilitators at micro, meso and macro levels, critical factors for successful communication of evidence to policy-makers were identified. Conclusions: Effective communication is indispensable for facilitating knowledge translation and evidence-informed policy-making. Nonetheless gaps persist in frameworks designed to enhance research communication to policy-makers, particularly regarding the effectiveness of multiple communication strategies. To advance in this field, the development of comprehensive frameworks incorporating implementation strategies is warranted. This paper proposes a theoretical approach to discuss the relations among reality, chemists' interactions with it, and the resulting interpretation and representation of the acquired scientific knowledge. Taking into account that such relations are of semiotic nature, this paper aims at discussing in the light of Peirce's theory of signs different descriptions of chemical activity and chemical education proposed by Alex Johnstone and elaborated by other science educators. In the current media ecosystem, marked by hyperconnectivity and technological advances, social networks constitute windows of access to different content for a large part of the population, even more so after the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, cultural institutions such as museums develop different communicative strategies in these networks, as in TikTok, adapting to their narrative codes. This research aims to study the communicative strategies of European museums through their TikTok profiles. To this end, a methodology based on quantitative and qualitative parameters is used, based on the case study of the official accounts of the Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen in Madrid (Spain), The National Gallery in London (UK), the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence (Italy), analysing 1,544 videos. The results point to a disparity in the communication strategies of the museums studied. However, they coincide in the publications that refer to the masterpieces as the most popular and the option of the sound provided by the application as the type of audio mostly used. Guaranteeing efficient evacuations in urban communities is critical for preserving lives, minimizing disaster impacts, and promoting community resilience. Challenges such as high population density, limited evacuation routes, and communication breakdowns complicate evacuation efforts. Vulnerable populations, urban infrastructure constraints, and the increasing frequency of disasters further contribute to the complexity. Despite these challenges, the importance of timely evacuations lies in safeguarding human safety, enabling rapid disaster response, preserving critical infrastructure, and reducing economic losses. Overcoming these hurdles necessitates comprehensive planning, investment in resilient infrastructure, effective communication strategies, and continuous community engagement to foster preparedness and enhance evacuation efficiency. This research looks into the complexities of evacuation dynamics within urban residential areas, placing a particular focus on the interaction between joint-rental arrangements and family ties and their influence on evacuation strategies during emergency situations. Using agent-based modeling, evacuation simulation scenarios are implemented using the Changhongfang community (Shanghai) while systematically exploring how diverse interpersonal relationships impact the efficiency of evacuation processes. The adopted methodology encompasses a series of group experiments designed to determine the optimal proportions of joint-rental occupants within the community. Furthermore, the research examines the impact of various exit selection strategies on evacuation efficiency. Simulation outcomes shed light on the fundamental role of interpersonal factors in shaping the outcomes of emergency evacuations. The effectiveness of high-quality dental care predominantly lies on the communication between dentist and patient. However, little literature has reported the importance of these "soft skills" in dental practice. The aim of this literature review is to explore strategies for effective dentist-patient communication. Dentist-patient communication is a bidirectional process involving the exchange of ideas that should be clear (easy to understand), correct (accurate), concise (to the point), complete (with essential information), and cohesive (well-organized). Effective communication empowers patients with the knowledge required to make an informed decision about their own oral health. It not only improves the dentist's efficiency and boosts patient confidence, but also alleviates patients' dental anxiety and fear, addresses patients' needs and preferences, increases patients' adherence, and enhances patient satisfaction. To enhance dentist-patient communication, dentists should take the patient-centered approach as a premise. The approach comprises understanding patients' illnesses, shared decision-making, and mindful intervention at the patient's own pace. In addition, dentists should use simple, succinct language, proper body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact when interacting with patients. Dentists should show empathy, encourage questions and feedback, employ visual aids, and give ample time to patients. Nowadays, dentists and their patients use messaging applications in their communication. This form of telecommunication is not only a convenient way of communication but also reduces the costs associated with a dentist visit. This research focuses on examining the responses of interest groups listed in the European Transparency Register to the ongoing Russia–Ukraine war. Its aim is to investigate the nuanced reactions of 2579 commercial and business associations and 2957 companies and groups to the recent conflict, as expressed through their X (Twitter) activities. Utilizing advanced text mining and NLP and LDA techniques, this study conducts a comprehensive analysis encompassing language dynamics, thematic shifts, sentiment variations, and activity levels exhibited by these entities both before and after the outbreak of the war. The results obtained reflect a gradual decrease in negative emotions regarding the conflict over time. Likewise, multiple forms of outside lobbying are identified in the communication strategies of interest groups. All in all, this empirical inquiry into how interest groups adapt their messaging in response to complex geopolitical events holds the potential to provide invaluable insights into the multifaceted role of lobbying in shapi ng public policies. The study aims to identify the reality of extension works in the Directorate of Agricultural Extension and Agricultural Researches in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and the study area included all governorates of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Germian, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk). The research community included all workers in agricultural extension, agricultural research, and agricultural directorates in all governorates, there were 215 respondents. The sample of the respondents includes (71) representing 33% of the population, taken by a simple random sampling method. The data were collected through personal interviews; questionnaire was prepared for this purpose. To confirm the validity, the questionnaire was reviewed by some experts. In general, the reality of extension work was described by the respondents (extension workers and agricultural engineers working in the Agricultural Research and Extension Directorate) as weak. Conducting training courses for agricultural extension workers regarding methods and methods of communication to work with farmers, emphasizing the importance and necessity of linking and coordinating between agricultural extension and education (universities) to graduate a qualified agricultural guide. Introduction: The global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic relies significantly on vaccination. The collective international effort has been massive, but the pace of vaccination finds hindrance due to supply and vaccine hesitancy factors. Understanding public perceptions, especially through the lens of social media, is important. This study investigates the influence of social media on COVID-19 vaccine perceptions among university students in Malawi. Methods: The study utilized a quantitative methodology and employed a cross-sectional study design to explore the relationship between social media dynamics and COVID-19 vaccine perceptions among 382 randomly sampled students at MUBAS. Data, collected by use of a Likert-scale questionnaire, was analyzed using IBM SPSS 20 for descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests. Results: The findings reveal crucial correlations. Specifically, trust in online vaccine information shows a positive correlation (r = 0.296, p < 0.01) with active engagement in social media discussions. Conversely, a negative correlation surfaces concerning individuals' reactions to vaccine availability in Malawi (r = -0.026, p > 0.05). The demographic overview highlights the prevalence of the 16 to 30 age group, representing 92.9% of respondents. Conclusions: The identified correlations emphasize the need for careful communication strategies tailored to combat misinformation and enhance vaccine acceptance among the younger demographic in Malawi. The positive correlation between trust in online vaccine information and social media engagement underscores digital platforms' potential for disseminating accurate information. OBJECTIVES: Educational approaches for training physicians in clinical communications vary, and whether physicians apply the communication skills they learn or find them useful in the clinic is not well known. The aim of this study was to determine how first-year residents who received explicit instruction in 7 communication strategies would apply them in a simulation exercise and in clinical practice. METHODS: First-year Internal Medicine residents at an urban teaching hospital received instruction in 7 systematic communication strategies: Ask-Tell-Ask, Teach-back, open-ended questioning, NURSE, open body language, pausing, and plain language. Residents were evaluated on their use of specific communication behaviors associated with the 7 strategies during a simulation exercise of disclosing a medical error to a standardized patient. Control group residents who did the simulation before attending the training program and training group residents who did the simulation after the training were compared. Residents were queried 6 months after the training program on their use of communication strategies during clinical practice. RESULTS: A total of 27 residents participated (n = 13 control group; n = 14 training group). The training group performed behaviors for "establishing patient understanding" significantly more often than the control group. Both groups used non-verbal communication and behaviors for addressing patient emotions at similar levels. Of the 24 residents who responded to the 6-month follow-up questionnaire, 24 (100%) reported using Ask-Tell-Ask, open-ended questioning, and Teach-back, and 22 (92%) reported using NURSE statements and non-verbal communication. Most respondents reported using the strategies in clinical practice often or very often (79%) and found the strategies useful or very useful (96%). CONCLUSION: Providing explicit instruction in systematic communication strategies, particularly those focused on establishing patient understanding, may be an efficient approach for helping early career physicians develop effective communication skills that can be readily implemented during clinical training and practice. As museums shift their responsibilities and functions towards audience-centered approaches, research on exploring museum cultural communication strategies through visitor experiences has gained increasing attention from both academia and industry. This study focuses on the newly opened Nan Song Deshou Palace Relics Site Museum in Hangzhou, China, completed at the end of 2022, and its visitors. Data were collected through on-site surveys and in-depth interviews. The research findings indicate that the current motivations of museum visitors manifest primarily in three forms: knowledge exploration, social interaction, and psychological restoration. After evaluating the existing museum service quality based on the field of experiential value in marketing management, two main issues and features were identified. The issues include sub-optimal visitor pathways and layout, dissatisfaction with staff services, and shortcomings in promotion and communication. The overall cultural learning and interactive experience for the entire visitor base also require improvement. The features are characterized by differentiated cultural and creative consumption in the museum and the emergence of interrelated consumer demands. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought new reconstruction opportunities for the intelligence of the advertisement industry through the help of AI technologies such as machine learning and deep learning. First, the relationship between AI and the attractiveness of green advertisements is investigated, and the influence of different AI technologies in green advertisements on consumers' perception of the attractiveness of green advertisements is summarized. Second, based on the green advertisement dissemination rate data set, the data visualization exploration is carried out, and the data deletion and coding processing are carried out aiming at different characteristic variables. Finally, according to the problems existing in the current green advertisement communication and the high‐dimensional and sparse characteristics of the communication rate data set. In this paper, based on Deep FM (Factorization Machine), Gradient Boost Decision Tree (GBDT) is added to assist the experiment, and the prediction performance of green advertising communication is tested. The results are as follows. (1) Different AI expressions in green advertisements will affect consumers' perception of the attractiveness of green advertisements. (2) The prediction ability of Deep FM model after feature engineering is better than that of data cleaning only. The prediction effect of the model is obviously improved. The purpose of this paper is to integrate green advertising media communication into the ecological concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, strengthen the political belief of ecological civilization construction, and conform to the communication trend of today's severe ecological situation. This manuscript investigates the particularities of the creation of Bangtan, a transmedia narrative universe in the South Korean music industry and its relationship with content consumption by its followers. Specifically, the study focuses on BTS, the most popular and awarded k-pop band. Therefore, the main goals are to determine the main characteristics of transmedia branded content in the South Korean music sector and to examine the 22 main communication strategies carried out by the band that integrate this type of strategy based on branded content and its consumption trends by ARMy, its fandom. For these purposes, a qualitative analysis is proposed based on variables from the specialized literature of the 22 main communication strategies carried out by the band and their consequent coding according to the type of story, content, message and objectives and interaction that the fans carry out with the music band. The results allow us to conclude that BTS has found a way to introduce a successful branded content strategy in a communicatively conservative country through a peculiar connection between the band and the fans, who voluntarily engage in actions to spread the brand, amplifying the content previously created by the band, and producing new ones that expand the transmedia narrative universe promoted by the entertainment production company: HyBE. Science communication strategy plays a crucial role in effectively conveying scientific information to target audiences. While various models exist for developing communication strategies, many focus on measuring the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjusting these based on audience feedback. However, traditional methods of evaluating communication effectiveness often measure one component at a time and do not consider how people make decisions in real-life situations. This paper proposes the use of continuous response measurement (CRM) as a method to evaluate science communication in agricultural social science research. CRM allows for real-time measurement of how individuals make decisions in response to dynamic communication content. This paper compares different types of CRM, including in-person and virtual dial CRM, and provides resources for researchers interested in implementing this methodology. The paper also discusses various research designs that can be used with CRM, such as experimental designs, survey designs, time-series designs, focus groups, and coding content and behavior. The benefits and limitations of CRM are outlined, highlighting the need for immediate feedback and real-time response in science communication campaigns. In-person CRM is discussed, including the selection of stimuli, response prompts, data collection procedures, and data analysis. Virtual CRM is also examined, highlighting its advantages in terms of flexibility and cost-effectiveness. The paper concludes by discussing data output and analysis methods for CRM data. Overall, this paper serves as a methodological proposal for the use of CRM in agricultural social science research, emphasizing the importance of real-time measurement and response in science communication. The COVID-19 pandemic led hospitals to work differently regarding legal procedures and eHealth services and brought a changing and fluctuating healthcare environment that affected communication among clinicians, patients, and families. These organizations were forced to make their corporate communication initiatives more efficient and interact with stakeholders differently, especially with patients and media companies. This paper aims to understand better hospitals' main corporate communication initiatives during the Covid-19 pandemic. We show that the most important communication initiatives implemented by hospitals during the COVID-19 outbreak were related to the following main areas: a) professional management of corporate communication, b) transparency, c) human values, d) hospital's brand, and e) online corporate communication. During the pandemic, there was a lack of professional corporate communication in hospitals and the need to execute more than merely conservative communication strategies. Perlocutionary acts and effects have long been treated as marginal (Searle, 1969) or too wide and unclear (Leech, 1983) aspects of language competence and performance. However, Post (2013) maintained that perlocution ought to be widely investigated, regarded as being among the vital aspects of communication, and even treated as complementary to the speech act theory (SAT) and linguistic pragmatics. In 2016, Świątek introduced the concept of verbal perlocutionary giftedness, presenting an extended framework for the study of perlocutionary acts from the pragmatic and glottodidactic perspectives on a concomitant basis. Recent research has revealed that perlocution may even have deeper, genetic roots which, supposedly, may have a serious impact on one's increased verbal perlocutionary efficiency. However, there is yet another phenomenon, that is, learning and communication strategies which might affect the target phenomenon Therefore, the aim of the study, based on both qualitative and quantitative research, was to determine the principal types of learning and communication strategies implemented by perlocutionarily gifted language users, that is, whether they prefer any particular types of strategies when learning and communicating verbally or simply apply a mixture of all strategies, thus possessing a certain kind of global awareness. In other words, this study allowed us to determine whether the above-mentioned learners apply a plethora of strategies when interacting with other language users or simply adopt a finite set of strategies in order to be only understood and thus ensure communicative effectiveness. Objective: This study aimed to analyze effective teamwork at security checkpoints by investigating how security crews communicate in different (routine and threat) situations. Background: Working at an airport security screening checkpoint is challenging. Although tasks and processes are highly regulated and standardized due to legal requirements, security screeners must be trained to deal with unforeseen threat situations involving high levels of uncertainty. Therefore, security crews need to engage in flexible and adaptive coordination according to the situation and circumstances. Method: We conducted a field study with 20 airport security screening crews comprising 100 security screeners. Teamwork in terms of interaction between crew members was measured, differentiating between proactive "push" communication and information on request representing "pull" communication. Furthermore, non-task related communication was assessed. Results: While crews showed non-task related communication more in routine situations, both task-related "push" and "pull" communication occurred more in threat situations. In terms of team performance, we could show significant positive effects of proactive "push" communication and non-task related interaction in threat situations. Conclusion: Our results underscore the specific setting of airport security screening and the challenges that arise for teamwork. This study investigates professional screeners and passengers in the field. In contrast to other high-risk areas, security crews are confronted with a third party that complicates coordination strategies considered effective in previous studies. In recent years, MPI has been widely used as a communication protocol for massively parallel computing tasks, and the performance of MPI interprocess communications has become a major constraint for large-scale scalability. By analyzing the performance characteristics of bandwidth and latency of MPI communications, a transmission optimization method for MPI communications is proposed. For the variables of transmitted data, the communication strategy of MPI is optimized according to the data size and the succession of multiple communications, and the operation of packing or unpacking is automatically selected, which makes the performance of MPI communications significantly improved. For the time-consuming parts of MPI communication in the ocean numerical model Parallel Ocean Program with this method used, at least 2.4x speedup in point-to-point communication with unpacking strategy and at least 1.7x speedup in point-to-point with packing strategy are achieved. Research-intensive institutions rely on specialized central offices to support research administrators and investigators through various processes and requirements. This helps researchers successfully and compliantly conduct and manage research. However, when these support offices communicate their processes and resources from disparate locations, it can be challenging for research administrators and investigators to locate what they need at the time they need it, and to understand how this information relates with that provided by other research support offices. This can result in research administrators and investigators lacking a clear understanding of critical information and an underutilization of available support. Duke University sought to address this issue by developing a web-based interactive research roadmap to consolidate and organize information from research support offices around the institution. In this roadmap, all support office content is integrated by topic and organized across the research project life cycle. To achieve this, a dedicated project team 1) convened the research support offices to develop integrated content and a process for contributing their resources on the website, 2) solicited researcher feedback to determine the critical features and functionality of the site, 3) engaged a technical development partner to build the site, 4) engaged researchers for beta-testing, and 5) devised a communication strategy to raise awareness and adoption of the site. The interactive research roadmap, “myRESEARCHpath,” launched in 2021, and has experienced steady growth in utilization. Initial data shows that users are accessing the site to find relevant information for research information and guidance, and research support offices are encouraged by the improved discoverability of resources and services. This model of a single location to access research support office information needed to navigate the research project life cycle could be beneficial for other research-intensive institutions. Social media networks, especially those where the use of images plays a key role, are a fundamental tool for fashion brands to be perceived as sustainable. The purpose of the present investigation is to analyze the elements and colors used by the 10 fashion corporations with the highest scores in the sustainability rankings when they share photographs and illustrations to Instagram and analyze the differences between publications related to sustainability and those that are not. Based on the history of posts from the 61 brands that make up these 10 corporations (277,955), those that include a term related to sustainability were identified, obtaining a sample of 12,639 publications. Next, an automatized image recognition was made using the Python Inception V3 library and the colors used were analyzed using the PIL and colorsys libraries. Even though clothing and footwear are the elements most frequently displayed when choosing a single image, in half of the cases the brands combine various types of images to reinforce the sustainable message with images of nature, sport, animals or food. In sustainable content, this trend is more pronounced in a communication strategy aimed at reducing the prominence of the final article, subjected to an industrial manufacturing process, and providing a more benevolent context from the point of view of sustainability. In addition, there are chromatic differences between sustainable content and those that are not. The interest of public administrations in interacting and generating conversation with citizens has led to the opening of profiles on social networks. The present work analyzes how the General Administration of the State, in particular, the ministries of the Government of Spain, are using the TikTok network to communicate with citizens, what content they are publishing, what the format and tone of their publications is, and what frequency of publication they maintain, to know how institutional communication of the ministries is on this social network and observe if they follow a strategic use of their profiles. To do this, a quantitative content analysis of the publications of the profiles of the 7 ministries with active presence on TikTok has been carried out, from the first publication of each profile studied until March 31, 2023. For the analysis, different variables have been considered which collect the figures of the profiles, the tone of the publications, and the structure and format of the contents. The results show that the ministries maintain a low publication frequency, and there is a disparity in the type of tone used or intention of their publications and in the formats, which suggests a lack of common communication strategy by the Government of Spain to maximize performance on this social network. Background: Global migration has led to a sharp increase in the number of language‐discordant consultations (LDCs) in healthcare. Evidence on how healthcare providers (HCPs) meet migrant patients' needs while mitigating language barriers is lacking. Design: Using purposive and snowball sampling, we recruited twenty‐seven Dutch HCPs (Mage = 45.07, SD = 11.46) and conducted semi‐structured interviews to collect qualitative, open‐ended data for identifying the communication strategies used with migrant patients in LDCs. We analysed the transcripts using deductive and inductive approaches (e.g., constant comparative method from Grounded Theory). Final pattern codes (i.e., key themes) were discussed among the research team until mutual agreement had been achieved. Results: Five key themes emerged from the analyses: HCPs often 'got‐by' with (1) instrumental and (2) affective communication strategies used in language‐concordant consultations to start medical consultations. When some instrumental communication strategies were deemed ineffective (e.g., lingua franca, gesturing, etc.) to bridge language barriers, HCPs turned to (3) incorporating digital tools (e.g., Google Translate). When HCPs were unable to communicate with migrant patients at all, (4) informal, ad‐hoc and professional interpreters were involved. Finally, HCPs often (5) involved additional support to engage migrant patients to engage in treatment‐related behaviours. Discussion and Conclusions: Our results highlight the importance of raising awareness among HCPs about using various combinations of different strategies. The development of a guideline indicating the optimal combination of communication strategies for different medical consultation goals may be useful in reshaping the current communication behaviour of HCPs in LDCs. The identification of opinion leaders is a matter of great significance for companies and authorities, as these individuals are able to shape the opinions and attitudes of entire societies. In this paper, we consider X (formerly Twitter) as a passive sensor to identify opinion leaders. Given the unreliability of the traditional follower count metric due to the presence of fake accounts and farm bots, our approach combines the measures of visibility and community engagement to identify these influential individuals. Through an experimental evaluation involving approximately 4 million tweets, we showed two important findings: (i) relying solely on follower count or post frequency is inadequate for accurately identifying opinion leaders, (ii) opinion leaders are able to build community and gain visibility around specific themes. The results showed the benefits of using X as a passive sensor to identify opinion leaders, as the proposed method offers substantial advantages for those who are involved in social media communication strategies, including political campaigns, brand monitoring, and policymaking. A "team" in healthcare is traditionally referred to as an interdisciplinary team. Studying this particular professional group is important to understand how teamwork exists among those who provide most of the patient care. Communication skills contribute to the development of interpersonal relationships. Improving the quality of communication between participants in the healthcare system is a global priority and can contribute to better diagnosis and treatment. The purpose of the study: to study the relationship of interpersonal communication with the degree of job satisfaction of a nurse among nurses. Meterials and methods. Design is an observational cross--sectional study using analytical statistics methods. Data collection was carried out using a survey (using the on-line Google Form server), in one of the State Clinical Hospitals in Almaty, in 2023. 281 nurses participated in the study. The questionnaire developed by us is an assessment of the strategy of behavior of nurses in the event of a conflict situation) It was carried out using Pearson's chi-square criterion and/or Fisher's exact test, with the calculation of relative risk (RR), as well as binary logistic regression. In addition to these basic methods, the following tests were used for analysis: single-sample binomial criterion and single-sample chi-square criterion. The null hypothesis was rejected in the case of p <0.05. Results and discussion. In general, the proportion of nurses who were satisfied and dissatisfied with their work was 39.86% (n=112) and 60.14% (n= 169), respectively. The asymptotic significance of a single sample binomial criterion was p=0.001, which indicates the reliability of differences in proportions. Among the nurses dissatisfied with their work (n=169), the following prevailed: older sisters (χ²=40.645, p≤0.001), sisters with less work experience (χ²=90.941, p≤0.001) and sisters engaged in practical activities (χ²=83.568, p≤0.001). The results obtained indicate the presence of a statistically significant association of the level of satisfaction of nurses with work activities with such characteristics as "team cohesion" (RR=8,050, p≤0.001), "the level of trust in the team" (RR=3,470, p≤0.001), "friendly and business criticism in the team" (RR=3.393, p=0.004), "free expression of opinion in the team" (RR=12.285, p≤0.001), "the emotional attitude with which you usually come to work" (RR=4.442, p=0.003) and "the moral and psychological climate in the team" (RR=7.068, p≤0.001). The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the heart of the management of public and private enterprises. Organizations have incorporated the SDGs into their business strategy by developing actions that they disseminate in their reports. In the last decade, academic research has paid special attention to this development, publishing a growing number of studies on the subject with the emergence of a specific line of research in the area of sustainability: sustainability reporting. In this context, this paper aims to show a methodology that serves as a tool to analyze the disclosure of SDGs in the sustainability reports. This methodology has three stages. First, a lexicographic analysis of sustainability reports has been carried out, second, a correspondence analysis, and third, outlining through "guided questions" how the information obtained can be useful to analyze SDG communication strategy. For further illustration the methodology has been applied to a company in the Spanish agri-food sector: Ebro Foods. This work has both academic and professional implications by providing a guideline for SDG dissemination analysis in sustainability reports and, on the other hand, by providing the business world with an analysis tool that serves to improve communication strategies in the field of sustainability. In the area of digital media narratives, an important communication role is played by influencers who, thanks to original media messages, become creative gatekeepers of specific ideas. Travel videoblogs are often underestimated as pure entertainment, whereas they can be seen as important tools for public discourse creators. The research uses methods of compositional and content analysis, supplemented with narratology and netnography. In the space of popular travel videoblogs, the main ideas promoted include the ideas of sustainable development and intercultural dialogue. Bloggers create and stimulate the existence of online communities, express specific ideas, concepts and worldviews that partly come from the area of scientific discourse, particularly anthropological, cultural and ethical ones. The research highlights the serious public role played by the digital nomads as influencers and new kind of friendly authority and presents case study of successful communication strategies, narrative skills and technical competences of authors. The online travel narratives can be seen as marketing of ideas and thus used as practical tool of communication for institutions, non-governmental organizations and other actors of communication. The paper analyses new material (new genres of communication, new channels, new strategies) and topic of high importance in the context of intercultural conflicts and ecological problems. One of the most influential Polish travel vlogs, Globstory by Kaja Kraska (initiated in August, 2014), serves here as a case study. It was chosen because its content is typical for this genre and because of creative and engaging practices of the vlogger who successfully influences the public and its understanding of specific ideas and problems. This study evaluates the impact of unconventional policy announcements by the European Central Bank (ECB) on the interconnectedness of sovereign credit default swaps (SCDS) markets in the European Union (EU) from 2009 to 2014. The findings suggest that ECB's unconventional policy measures reduced sovereign default risk not only in Eurozone nations but also in Central and Eastern European countries. To investigate the transmission of monetary policy effects across European countries, we employ the Diebold & Yilmaz connectedness framework along with an event-study approach. Our analysis reveals robust evidence of substantial positive spillovers from ECB monetary policy measures to all EU countries, effectively shielding the SCDS market from adverse shocks. Among various policy tools, we observe that asset purchase programs enhance overall connectedness, while mixed policy measures bolster within-cluster connectedness. Furthermore, our results highlight the efficacy of specific monetary policy instruments, indicating that asset purchase programs and quantitative easing are particularly effective in reducing sovereign risk. Background: The communication skills of treating physicians can affect the psychological burden of cancer patients and the prevalence of mental illness among these patients. This study investigated the communication skills of physicians and their relationship to the psychological symptoms of cancer patients and their satisfaction with the treatment they received. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in 2019. A total of 160 cancer patients who fulfilled the inclusion criteria and referred to Omid Hospital in Isfahan, Iran, and the Iranian Cancer Control Center (MACSA) took part in the study. Demographic information, including age, sex, marital status, education, and type and stage of the disease, was collected using the Demographic Information Questionnaire. The patients' psychological states and satisfaction were then measured using the Patient's Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS), the Short Assessment of Patient Satisfaction (SAPS), and the Communication Assessment Tool (CAT). Correlation coefficients and multiple linear regression were performed using the SPSS software to analyze data. Results:There was a significant direct relationship between the two quantitative variables of CAT and SAPS scores (r = 0.752; p < 0.001). There was also a significant relationship between the depression (r = -0.318; p < 0.001) and stress (r = -0.303; p < 0.001) scores and the CAT score. The mean SAPS score in patients undergoing radiotherapy was significantly lower than in the stages of chemotherapy (beta (SE) = -3.14 (1.05); p = 0.003). Conclusion: It was found that physicians' communication skills play an essential role in patients' satisfaction and are directly correlated. Background. Maxillary osteonecrosis, particularly medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ), necessitates prompt identification and a comprehensive approach for effective management. Early diagnosis and proactive dental care are crucial in mitigating the complications associated with this condition. Aims. This study aims to outline the importance of early detection, multidisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and proactive dental care in the management of maxillary osteonecrosis. Methods. The study emphasizes the utilization of standardized medical letters to facilitate communication between prescribing physicians and dentists, while ensuring the timely exchange of essential patient information. Additionally, patient education plays a pivotal role, with the distribution of informative leaflets at the initiation of Bone Modifying Agents (BMA) treatment, emphasizing the risks associated with MRONJ and the significance of maintaining oral health and making appropriate lifestyle choices. Results. Dentists are key stakeholders in the prophylaxis of MRONJ, undertaking primary and secondary prevention measures. Primary prophylaxis encompasses various dental procedures aimed at reducing bacterial load and mucosal irritation. Secondary prophylaxis involves educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health and adopting lifestyle modifications. Furthermore, an Android application assists dentists in assessing MRONJ risk factors and making informed treatment decisions based on factors such as BMA type, dose, duration of administration, and the presence of dental and general risk factors. Conclusions. In conclusion, a proactive approach to managing Maxillary Osteonecrosis involves early detection, multidisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and proactive dental care. The media-based communication between social movements and other actors is relevant to achieve their goals. This article addresses the dynamic and contentious aspects of the mediabased communication generated by the Magallanes Social Movement and the Government of Chile. A quantitative analysis was made of 217 news and 499 quotations published during the events. The results indicate that the parties adopted differing communication strategies like making calls for action, talking positively about the own group, among others. Furthermore, the content of communications varied over time, but the strong relation between the communications issued and the occurrence of particular protest events suggests that while a communicational contest is certainly an interactive process, both camps do not just argue through the words, but also through the events that each camp organizes. In the context of the energy transition, electrical microgrids have become a key energy solution for isolated zones. For this type of application, low-voltage networks with unbalanced loads are commonly connected. Despite this, many of the hierarchical control strategies presented in the literature have been designed to operate properly only in the presence of balanced loads. For this reason, it is relevant to study how control strategies can be adapted to this scenario, especially those that reduce the dependence on communications to enhance flexibility and reliability. In this sense, this paper presents a secondary layer control strategy that does not require the use of communications to operate in isolated microgrids with unbalanced loads. The strategy guarantees proper performance in terms of power-sharing between the distributed generators of the microgrid. This article analyzes the communication strategies of the Movement of Those Affected by the Alcântara Space Base in Maranhão, Brazil, through a case study that uses semi-structured interviews and documentary research. It mobilizes concepts of social movements, the Black movement, and quilombola. It addresses the specificities of ethnic territory and discusses the role of communication in strengthening citizenship and the Black press as a means of counterhegemony. Introduction: We sought to understand the Undetectable = Untransmittable (U = U) communication needs of persons living with HIV (PLHIV) and barriers to U = U communication among healthcare providers (HCPs) in South Africa. Methods: We conducted five focus group discussions (FGDs) with HCPs (N = 42) including nurses and counsellors from primary healthcare clinics (PHCs) in the Gauteng and Free State Provinces of South Africa, three FGDs (N = 27) with PLHIV recruited by snowball sampling from civil society organizations, and 27 in-depth interviews (IDIs) with recently diagnosed PLHIV in Johannesburg. IDIs and FGDs were audio recorded, transcribed, translated to English, and analysed thematically. Results: PLHIV were largely unaware and sceptical of U = U as the message appeared to contradict the mainstream HIV prevention clinical guidance. The low viral load (VL) knowledge further reduced confidence in U = U. PLHIV need support and guidance on the best approaches for sharing U = U information and disclosing their VL status to their partners, highlighting the central role of community understanding of U = U and VL to mediate the desired stigma reduction, social acceptance and emotional benefits of U = U for PLHIV. HCPs were uneasy about sharing U = U due to concerns about risk compensation and ART non-adherence and worried about enabling any ensuing HIV transmission. HCPs also need a simple, unambiguous, and consistent narrative for U = U, integrated with other HIV prevention messages. PLHIV and HCPs alike recommended a patient-centred approach to communicating U = U, focusing primarily on attaining viral suppression and emphasizing that condomless sex is only safe during periods of ART adherence. Conclusions: These data highlight the need for simple U = U communication support targeting both HCP and PLHIV. Culturally appropriate communication materials, with training and ongoing mentorship of the clinic staff, are essential to improve patient-centred U = U communication in clinics. Migrants may be susceptible to vaccine barriers and hesitancy. We evaluated the association between migrant status, as measured by the citizenship from a High Migratory Pressure Country (HMPC), and COVID-19 vaccination uptake in the resident population in Rome, Italy. We also investigated sex differences. We followed participants for vaccination against COVID-19 in 2021. We calculated crude- and adjusted-vaccination rates and Cox hazard ratios of vaccination for migrants compared to Italians. Among migrants from HMPCs, we estimated HRs for females compared to males, stratifying by geographical area of origin. Models were adjusted for age and deprivation index and stratified by infection history. In 2021, among 1,731,832 18–64-year-olds, migrants were 55% less likely to uptake at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose than their Italian counterpart. Past SARS-CoV-2 infection reduced the difference between migrants and Italians to 27%. Among migrants from HMPCs, we observed a slight excess of vaccination uptake among females compared to males. Focusing on geographical areas, we observed that only females from central-western Asia were 9% less likely to uptake vaccination than males. Health communication strategies oriented to migrants and considering their different languages, cultures, and health literacy should be adopted for prevention before emergencies. In this letter, a joint route selection and time‐slot allocation problem is formulated in a satellite‐terrestrial communication system. An optimization problem that minimizes the total system energy consumption is proposed to solve the formulated problem. Two algorithms, including a multi‐time‐expanding graph‐based maximum transmission rate route (MTEG‐R) selection algorithm and a minimum system energy consumption ‐ Dijkstra (MSEC‐D) algorithm, are proposed to find the optimal route and time‐slot for data transmission, and simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. An in-depth study on the fixed-time event-triggered obstacle avoidance consensus control in heterogeneous USV-AUV systems with input delay and uncertain disturbances are conducted in this paper. When initial state of the system fails to achieve consensus, the desired heterogeneous USV-AUV formation can be achieved by fixed-time consensus control, within a fixed predetermined time, regardless of the initial states. Besides, an event-triggered communication strategy among the agents is introduced in the system, significantly reducing communication energy consumption. By employing the proposed control strategy, the Zeno behavior also can be avoided. Additionally, an obstacle avoidance control algorithm for the heterogeneous USV-AUV system based on improved artificial potential fields (IAPF) is designed, which helps in avoiding both static and dynamic obstacles. Compared to existing research, this algorithm reduces control input jitter, resulting in smoother obstacle avoidance paths. Background: This study examines the relationship between energy usage, health issues, and pro-environmental behaviour (PEB) in Kyrgyzstan amidst the country's commitment to transition from coal-based energy to renewable sources, in line with the Paris Agreement. The purpose is to investigate citizens' attitudes towards PEB and their intentions to engage in environmentally friendly actions, focusing on gas, electricity, and coal. Methods: Drawing upon the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework, a survey was conducted among 1455 respondents to explore attitudes towards PEB and energy sources' impact on health issues. Results: Decarbonization efforts in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia are in their early stages, with coal remaining a primary energy source. The study emphasizes the importance of governmental policies and citizen action in achieving decarbonization goals. Rising electricity costs outweigh the increase in indirect energy costs for food, posing challenges for households adapting to changing energy dynamics. Conclusions: Targeted interventions and communication strategies are crucial to promote pro-environmental behaviour and facilitate the transition to sustainable energy sources. A special emphasis in the organizational change management process is the creation of a change strategy and communication strategy that aims to mitigate the impact of organizational change on people and organizational culture, which can also be the biggest obstacle to their implementation. In order to carry out the process of change within organizations as easily and painlessly as possible, many models have been designed that have the purpose of helping management design, evaluate the situation, plan, implement and maintain changes. McKinsey 7S model is one of the frequently used models that helps in analyzing the current state of the organization and detecting weak points, as well as analyzing the state after implemented changes. The goal of this research was, according to the McKinsey 7S model, to determine the respondents' views on the role of management when implementing organizational changes and attitudes of the respondents regarding the reduction of employee resistance. The research results indicate the importance of management's role in the management of organizational changes and that employee resistance, as one of the most common causes of inadequate implementation of changes, can be reduced by management. This research sheds light on an important research area and represents a springboard for future research in this area and an incentive for other scholars to analyze more closely the role of management when implementing organizational changes. This article analyzes the communication actions and response strategies adopted by the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainable Development, of the State of Minas Gerais (Semad) and by the National Mining Agency (ANM), public bodies that act in the concession and inspection mining activity in the State and Brazil, during the crises caused by the failure of the ore tailings dams in Mariana (2015) and Brumadinho (2019), operated by the mining companies Samarco and Vale, respectively. From the content and discourse analysis of a set of 357 notes issued to the media, notices, bulletins and videos published on their websites and online social networks, it was concluded that state bodies failed to provide local communities with information that could be substantial in providing security for their lives, property and the environment in which they live. It was found that there was: i) the production and dissemination of information, but without attention to message recipients and marked by unidirectional, top-down, non-dialogical communication; ii) intergovernmental communication, when state organizations speak within the very government entities to which they are linked or hierarchically submitted; iii) low presence and use of social media; iv) low interactivity with users on online social networks; and, v) non-existent interactivity channels, for direct communication with local communities. Mobile sensors can extend the range of monitoring and overcome static sensors' limitations and are increasingly used in real-life applications. Since there can be significant errors in mobile sensor localization using the Monte Carlo Localization (MCL), this paper improves the food digestion algorithm (FDA). This paper applies the improved algorithm to the mobile sensor localization problem to reduce localization errors and improve localization accuracy. Firstly, this paper proposes three inter-group communication strategies to speed up the convergence of the algorithm based on the topology that exists between groups. Despite the considerable attention given to how mainstream media portrays feminism and social movements, there remains a notable research gap regarding the exploration of how these movements themselves engage in internal articulation and employ communication strategies to connect with their publics. To examine communications practices of cyberfeminists within the fourth wave of feminism and the 8M movement (feminist strike), this study analyzes the communication platforms utilized by Rede 8 de Março, which mobilizes the strike in Portugal in three dimensions: (1) institutional and internal communication; (2) content production for online dissemination on digital platforms; and (3) mobilization strategies and action repertoires. Specifically, we focus on the years 2020 and 2021, considering the pandemic context, using a combination of netnography and semi-structured interviews with organizing activists. Our findings indicate a significant rise in Instagram's platform utilization and exploration, concomitant with the establishment of WhatsApp as a central tool for both organizational and internal communication. These observations enhance our scholarly grasp of the intricate communication dynamics inherent in these organizational contexts and feminist movements, thereby offering significant contributions to our understanding of its operational mechanisms. Background: Language discordance occurs in healthcare when staff and service users do not share proficiency in the same language. It is a global phenomenon impacting on the quality of health services, as person-centred practice requires communication to establish partnerships and rapport. In a country as linguistically diverse as South Africa, effective ways to navigate language discordance in health care are urgently required, yet there is limited research. This study aimed to describe how occupational therapists navigated language discordance when working in the public health sector in KwaZulu-Natal. Methods: A qualitative descriptive design involved using purposive sampling to recruit occupational therapists as participants (n = 8) for 15 semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data, which included reflective journal entries from all participants. Results: The four emergent themes were: (1) concurrent use of strategies, (2) I'm doing as much I can, what more can I do? (3) Language definitely impacts that therapy process and lastly, (4) systemic oppression perpetuating language discordance. Conclusion: Language discordance is a complex context-specific phenomenon, therefore insight into concurrent use of strategies is important to practitioners to enable them to navigate language discordance and ensure provision of quality services. These insights are significant for healthcare professionals and resource allocators as they shed light on the shortcomings of advocating for a single strategy such as providing trained interpreters. Successful navigation is characterised by determination, being kind to oneself, willingness to learn and use of pragmatic and flexible approaches. To prepare to navigate language discordance in a low-resource context, education should extend in time and scope, to include multiple strategies, culture and relevant languages. The COVID-19 pandemic was complicated by the spread of false information leading to what became widely called an "infodemic". The present opinion paper was written by an ad hoc international team united under the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) umbrella and reflects the organizations' effort to contribute to the resolution of these issues, by highlighting and reflecting on them and by suggesting the medical community's necessary activities resulting in the formulation of effective future communication strategies. The importance of physicians' and other health workers' role and mission as educators and leaders in communities in critical situations should be reassessed and upgraded. We need to equip future doctors with strong and sustainable leadership and communication skills through relevant undergraduate and postgraduate education programs, in order that compliance with preventive medical advice is increased. To avoid possible politically and otherwise biased communication in health crises of the future, European nations should establish independent advisory bodies providing evidence-based advice and participate in communication campaigns. Medicines stewardship refers to coordinated strategies and interventions to optimise medicines use, usually within a specific therapeutic area. Medicines stewardship programs can reduce variations in practice and improve patient outcomes. Therapeutic domains for medicines stewardship are chosen to address frequently used drug classes associated with a high risk of adverse outcomes. Some examples include antimicrobial, opioid analgesic, anticoagulation and psychotropic stewardship. Common elements of successful stewardship programs include multidisciplinary leadership, stakeholder engagement, tailored communication strategies, behavioural changes, implementation science methodologies, and ongoing program monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Medicines stewardship is a continual quality improvement process that requires ongoing support and resources, as well as clinician and consumer engagement, to remain sustainable. It is critical for hospital-based medicines stewardship programs to consider impacts on care in the community when making and communicating changes to patient therapy. Background: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are the subject of a growing body of research with the potential to positively impact public and ecological health. However, to effect positive change, findings must be communicated beyond the scientific community. Objective: We sought to (a) evaluate the relationships between communications strategy, media attention, and scholarly citations of PFAS research and (b) offer guidance for researchers and communications professionals who would like to publicize future work and increase its impact. Methods: We analyzed 273 peer-reviewed epidemiological studies on PFAS human health impacts with publication years 2018–2020, as collected by a pre-existing database. We investigated whether a press release was issued, open-access status, abstract and press release readability, timing of publication and press release distribution, journal impact factor, study type and sample size, statistical significance of finding(s), number of scholarly citations, and the Altmetric Attention Score (a measure of media attention). Discussion: Of papers reporting a statistically significant association with health harm, those with a press release received 20 times more media attention (as assessed by Altmetric scores) than those that did not. However, only 6.2% of all papers and 7.8% of significant papers issued one. Among papers with a press release, media attention was positively correlated with better abstract and press release readability and speed in issuing the press release. Scholarly citations were positively correlated with media attention, presence of a press release, and open-access status. Conclusion: Most papers with significant findings on PFAS are published without a press release and receive little or no media attention. This reduces the likelihood that important research is reaching the public and decisionmakers who can translate science into action. Issuing a press release and receiving media attention also appear to increase scholarly citations. We provide recommendations for authors to increase the reach and impact of future papers. Trump's first pre-campaign and campaign for the U.S. presidency, showing the situations where they arose and how they were posed, as well as their place in the candidate's electoral and communications strategy. The author presents these elements in the context of the functioning of the U.S. institutionalelectoral framework, the development of agendas, and the handling of domestic matters closely linked to foreign policy. The article contributes to an understanding of the formal and informal rules in a presidential election, as well as Trump's positions in different spheres of bilateral relations. As of 2018 the message that urgent measures must be implemented to avoid planetary collapse owes much to the youth climate movement, led by, among others, activist Greta Thunberg. The main aim of this research is to explore the level of penetration of the urgency discourse, necessary to determine future communication strategies. Our methodological proposal is to measure the presence of the terms "climate crisis" and "climate emergency," in the Twitter conversation, as indicative of the degree of penetration of the discourse on urgency, as opposed to the term "climate change," which we associate to a discourse prevalent before the events of 2018, as well as to assess Thunberg's influence on the dissemination of said terms in the (digital) public sphere. The period under discussion covers 36 days, including the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Madrid (Spain), from which we collected tweets (n=3,324,580) and analyzed the volume of the terms "climate change," "climate crisis," and "climate emergency." We conclude that discourse on the climate urgency is relevant on Twitter and that Thunberg could have played a major role in the increasing use of "climate crisis" over "climate change," though not so for "climate emergency.
