Medieval paper, a handmade product, is made with a mould which leaves an indelible imprint on the sheet of paper. This imprint includes chain lines, laid lines and watermarks which are often visible on the sheet. Extracting these features allows the identification of the paper stock and gives information about the chronology, localisation and movement of manuscripts and people. Most computational work for feature extraction of paper analysis has so far focused on radiography or transmitted light images. While these imaging methods provide clear visualisation of the features of interest, they are expensive and time consuming in their acquisition and not feasible for smaller institutions. However, reflected light images of medieval paper manuscripts are abundant and possibly cheaper in their acquisition. In this paper, we propose algorithms to detect and extract the laid and chain lines from reflected light images. We tackle the main drawback of reflected light images, that is, the low contrast attenuation of chain and laid lines and intensity jumps due to noise and degradation, by employing the spectral total variation decomposition and develop methods for subsequent chain and laid line extraction. Our results clearly demonstrate the feasibility of using reflected light images in paper analysis. This work enables feature extraction for paper manuscripts that have otherwise not been analysed due to a lack of appropriate images. We also open the door for paper stock identification at scale. Samples of papers artificially (2 to 60 days) and naturally (10, 45, and 56 years) aged were studied by the Py-GC/MS method to identify decomposition products. Possible reaction scenarios for cellulose degradation were developed. One of the degradation products is acetic acid, which can (auto)catalyze the cleavage of cellulose β(1→4)-glycosidic bonds of cellulose polymer chains. However, during 20 s of Py-GC/MS analysis, temperatures of up to 300 °C did not significantly increase or modify the formation of decomposition products of paper components. At 300 °C, the amount of several cellulose decomposition products increased regularly depending on the number of days of artificial aging and natural aging, demonstrated mainly by the generation of 2-furancarboxaldehyde, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, and levoglucosan and its consecutive dehydration products. No correlation between the amount of lignin decomposition products and the time of aging was found when the pyrolysis was performed at 300 °C and 500 °C. Compounds present in the products of decomposition at 500 °C bear the imprint of the chemical composition of the sampled paper. Pyrograms taken at 300 °C using the Py-GC/MS method can give additional information on the changes in the chemical structure of paper during natural or artificial aging, mainly about the cleavage of β(1→4)-glycosidic bonds during aging. Frequency-domain dielectric spectroscopy (FDS) is widely used in the insulation assessment of oil-immersed power equipment, and the moisture in insulating paper could be qualitatively predicted by mathematical approximation. However, due to the still lots unexplored underlying mechanisms, until now, there is still no convincing and physical method for the diagnosis of moisture content. With the aid of spectral decomposition methods, this article aims to explore the effects and mechanism of moisture on the independent dielectric response spectra. First, the measured dielectric response curve is unfolded and reconstructed by derivation of the real part curve. Second, the independent polarization and conductance spectra of damp samples are extracted, and then, the relationships between moisture content in insulating paper and spectral parameters are established quantitatively. The results show that moisture introduces a new polarization in the midfrequency region at room temperature, and both polarization and conductance increase with the moisture content. The multiple adsorption model and the proton exchange model of moisture are employed to illustrate the changes of the polarization and the conductance spectra, respectively. The coverage tasks of mobile robots are evolving towards large-scale and intelligent di- rections demanding urgent requirements for the coverage efficiency and environmental adaptabil- ity of coverage path planning. To address the inadequate adaptability of the traditional boustro- phedon cellular decomposition in complex maps and to improve coverage efficiency, a complete coverage path planning method is proposed. Firstly, based on the boustrophedon cellular decom- position method. a strategy of area-descending traversal and monotone polygon judgment was proposed to merge cells, reducing approximately half of the cell quantity. Finally, by establis- hing the mapping relationship between the starting and ending positions of cells, a genetic algo- rithm was employed to optimize the selection of cells' starting positions and the global access or- der. The research results show that: 1) when processing maps with dimensions of 1 300 pixels. the algorithm in this paper can obtain calculation results within 10 s, and compared with the boustrophedon method, neural network method, and contour line method, the growth rate of calculation time is smaller with the increase of map area: 2) compared with the boustrophedon method, contour line method, neural network method, and energy-optimal method, the total op- eration time of robots in this paper is reduced by 5.4% to 47.0%, and the ineffective operation time is reduced by 5.8% to 29.2%; 3) the average coverage rate of this algorithm on 1 800 test maps reaches 99,91%; 4) the tests further confirm the significant coverage efficiency advantages of the algorithm proposed in this paper. Aiming at the problems of high stochasticity and volatility of power loads as well as the difficulty of accurate load forecasting, this paper proposes a power load forecasting method based on CEEMDAN (Completely Integrated Empirical Modal Decomposition) and TCN-LSTM (Temporal Convolutional Networks and Long-Short-Term Memory Networks). The method combines the decomposition of raw load data by CEEMDAN and the spatio-temporal modeling capability of TCN-LSTM model, aiming to improve the accuracy and stability of forecasting. First, the raw load data are decomposed into multiple linearly stable subsequences by CEEMDAN, and then the sample entropy is introduced to reorganize each subsequence. Then the reorganized sequences are used as inputs to the TCN-LSTM model to extract sequence features and perform training and prediction. The modeling prediction is carried out by selecting the electricity compliance data of New South Wales, Australia, and compared with the traditional prediction methods. The experimental results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has higher accuracy and better prediction effect on load forecasting, which can provide a partial reference for electricity load forecasting methods. Measurement of the cervical range of motion (CROM) is significant for early diagnosis of cervical spondylosis and determination of the severity of the disease. Aiming at the problem of convenient and continuous measurement of CROM and the reduction of the impact of data fluctuations, this paper proposes a low‐cost method for testing and analyzing CROM. This paper analyzes the correspondence between smartphone orientation sensor angle and CROM, obtains smartphone orientation sensing data, and uses the extreme‐point symmetric mode decomposition method by calculating the energy of the difference value to extract the adaptive global mean curve of the CROM data, and calculates the cervical ROM. The statistical analysis of the CROM test results is carried out. Results show that the method proposed can obtain the CROM including flexion and extension, lateral flexion, and rotation in a single measurement, which has the advantages of continuous measurement and low cost. This paper studies a distributionally robust multi-item newsvendor problem, where the demand distribution is unknown but specified with a general event-wise ambiguity set. Using the event-wise affine decision rules, we can obtain a conservative approximation formulation of the problem, which can typically be further reformulated as a linear program. In order to efficiently solve the resulting large-scale linear program, we develop a column generation-based decomposition scheme and speed up the computational efficiency by exploiting a special column selection strategy and stopping early based on a Karush-Kuhn-Tucker condition test. Focusing on the Wasserstein ambiguity set and the event-wise mean absolute deviation set, a computational study demonstrates both the computational efficiency of the proposed algorithm, which significantly outperforms a commercial solver and a Benders decomposition method, and the out-of-sample superiority of distributionally robust solutions relative to their sample average approximation counterparts. With the continuous increase in air conditioning installations, the proportion of air conditioning electricity consumption to total electricity consumption is growing. Research on the decomposition of air conditioning electricity consumption is of great significance for assessing electricity usage, formulating electricity scheduling plans, and ensuring the stable operation of the power grid. Currently, typical day selection strategies for the decomposition of air conditioning electricity consumption often overlook the corresponding relationship between typical daily electricity consumption and temperature. Therefore, this paper proposes an air conditioning electricity consumption decomposition method based on the dependence between temperature and electricity consumption. This method filters typical days based on Copula-based dependence indicators and equiprobable ellipses, determines the baseline electricity consumption curve through model selection voting, and ultimately calculates the air conditioning electricity consumption. Nonlinear time-fractional partial differential equations (NTFPDEs) play a great role in the mathematical modeling of real-world phenomena like traffic models, the design of earthquakes, fractional stochastic systems, diffusion processes, and control processing. Solving such problems is reasonably challenging, and the nonlinear part and fractional operator make them more problematic. Thus, developing suitable numerical methods is an active area of research. In this paper, we develop a new numerical method called Yang transform Adomian decomposition method (YTADM) by mixing the Yang transform and the Adomian decomposition method for solving NTFPDEs. The derivative of the problem is considered in sense of Caputo fractional order. The stability and convergence of the developed method are discussed in the Banach space sense. The effectiveness, validity, and practicability of the method are demonstrated by solving four examples of NTFPEs. The findings suggest that the proposed method gives a better solution than other compared numerical methods. Additionally, the proposed scheme achieves an accurate solution with a few numbers of iteration, and thus the method is suitable for handling a wide class of NTFPDEs arising in the application of nonlinear phenomena. Bayesian tensor decomposition has been widely applied in channel parameter estimations, particularly in cases with the presence of interference. However, the types of interference are not considered in Bayesian tensor decomposition, making it difficult to accurately estimate the interference parameters. In this paper, we present a robust tensor variational method using a CANDECOMP/PARAFAC (CP)-based additive interference model for multiple input–multiple output (MIMO) with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. A more realistic interference model compared to traditional colored noise is considered in terms of co-channel interference (CCI) and front-end interference (FEI). In contrast to conventional algorithms that filter out interference, the proposed method jointly estimates the channel and interference parameters in the time–frequency domain. Simulation results validate the correctness of the proposed method by the evidence lower bound (ELBO) and reveal the fact that the proposed method outperforms traditional information-theoretic methods, tensor decomposition models, and robust model based on CP (RCP) in terms of estimation accuracy. This paper presents a method called MCADFusion, a feature decomposition technique specifically designed for the fusion of infrared and visible images, incorporating target radiance and detailed texture. MCADFusion employs an innovative two-branch architecture that effectively extracts and decomposes both local and global features from different source images, thereby enhancing the processing of image feature information. The method begins with a multi-scale feature extraction module and a reconstructor module to obtain local and global feature information from rich source images. Subsequently, the local and global features of different source images are decomposed using the the channel attention module (CAM) and the spatial attention module (SAM). Feature fusion is then performed through a two-channel attention merging method. Finally, image reconstruction is achieved using the restormer module. During the training phase, MCADFusion employs a two-stage strategy to optimize the network parameters, resulting in high-quality fused images. Experimental results demonstrate that MCADFusion surpasses existing techniques in both subjective visual evaluation and objective assessment on publicly available TNO and MSRS datasets, underscoring its superiority. In light of the issue that the vibration signal from an axle-box bearing collected during the operation of an electric multiple unit (EMU) is seriously polluted by background noise, which leads to difficulty in identifying fault characteristic frequency, this paper proposes a resonance-based sparse signal decomposition (RSSD) and variational mode decomposition (VMD) method based on sparrow search algorithm (SSA) optimization to extract the fault characteristic frequency of the bearing. Firstly, the RSSD method is utilized to decompose the signal based on the obtained optimal combination of quality factors, resulting in the optimal low-resonance component with periodic fault information. Then, the VMD method is performed on this low-resonance component. The parameter combinations for both methods are optimized utilizing the SSA method. Subsequently, envelope demodulation is applied to the intrinsic mode function (IMF) with maximum kurtosis, and fault diagnosis is achieved by comparing it with the theoretical fault characteristic frequency. Finally, experimental validation and comparison are conducted by utilizing simulated signals and example signals. The results demonstrate that the proposed method extracts more obvious periodic fault impact components. It effectively filters out the interference of complex noise and reduces the blindness of setting weights on parameters due to human experience, indicating excellent adaptability and robustness. In this work, we use two unique methodologies, the homotopy perturbation transform method and Yang transform decomposition method, to solve the fractional nonlinear seventh-order Kaup–Kupershmidt (KK) problem. The physical phenomena that arise in chemistry, physics, and engineering are mathematically explained in this equation, in particular, nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics, plasma physics, fluid dynamics, and so on. The provided methods are used to solve the fractional nonlinear seventh-order KK problem along with the Yang transform and fractional Caputo derivative. The results are significant and necessary for exploring a range of physical processes. This paper uses modern approaches and the fractional operator to develop satisfactory approximations to the offered problem. To solve the fractional KK equation, we first use the Yang transform and fractional Caputo derivative. He's and Adomian polynomials are useful to manage nonlinear terms. It is shown that the suggested approximate solution converges to the exact one. In these approaches, the results are calculated as convergent series. The key advantage of the recommended approaches is that they provide highly precise results with little computational work. The suggested approach results are compared to the precise solution. By comparing the outcomes with the precise solution using graphs and tables we can verify the efficacy of the offered strategies. Also, the outcomes of the suggested methods at various fractional orders are examined, demonstrating that the findings get more accurate as the value moves from fractional order to integer order. Removing texture while preserving the main structure of an image is a challenging task. To address this, this paper propose an image smoothing method based on global gradient sparsity and local relative gradient constraints optimization. To reduce the interference of complex texture details, adopting a multi-directional difference constrained global gradient sparsity decomposition method, which provides a guidance image with weaker texture detail gradients. Meanwhile, using the luminance channel as a reference, edge-aware operator is constructed based on local gradient constraints. This operator weakens the gradients of repetitive and similar texture details, enabling it to obtain more accurate structural information for guiding global optimization of the image. By projecting multi-directional differences onto the horizontal and vertical directions, a mapping from multi-directional differences to bi-directional gradients is achieved. Additionally, to ensure the consistency of measurement results, a multi-directional gradient normalization method is designed. Through experiments, we demonstrate that our method exhibits significant advantages in preserving image edges compared to current advanced smoothing methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we present a general theory for fractional-order sequential differential equations with Riemann–Liouville nabla derivatives and Caputo nabla derivatives on time scales. The explicit solution, in the case of constant coefficients, for both the homogeneous and the non-homogeneous problems, are given using the ∇-Mittag-Leffler function, Laplace transform method, operational method and operational decomposition method. In addition, we also provide some results about a solution to a new class of fractional-order sequential differential equations with convolutional-type variable coefficients using the Laplace transform method. Leibniz algebras are non-antisymmetric generalizations of Lie algebras. In this paper, we investigate the properties of complete Leibniz algebras under certain conditions on their extensions. In this paper, we propose a decomposition formula for the fluid-solid interaction scattering problem. By the decomposition of the displacement, the corresponding problem is transformed into a coupled boundary value problem. For the two dimensional case, the coupled boundary value problem is about two scalar Helmholtz equations, and the other one is a scalar Helmholtz equation and a vector Helmholtz equation for the three dimensional. Then the coupled boundary value problem is solved by the method of fundamental solution. At last we give some examples to show the effectiveness of the present method in two and three dimensional case. A benchmark example is available for checking the feasibility and accuracy of the presented method. This paper presents a novel bolt looseness detection method for power transmission towers based on vibration signal analysis. The proposed method utilizes pulse excitation to extract the vibration signal of the tower, which is then adaptively decomposed using the Variational Mode Decomposition of Spider Wasp optimizer (SWVMD). This overcomes limitations of traditional Variational Mode Decomposition methods by leveraging bio‐inspired optimization to improve signal decomposition. Simulated signals processed with different optimization methods verify the superiority of the SWO approach. Field tests on a 110‐kV transmission tower further demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed SWVMD technique for analyzing on‐site vibration data. A new improved intrinsic multiscale sample entropy feature is also introduced for bolt state characterization. A Spider Wasp Support Vector Machine classifier is developed to realize accurate bolt loosening monitoring using the extracted features. Dynamic response tests under varying bolt conditions show that the method can identify early loosening and reduce tower damage risks compared to conventional techniques. Aiming at raising the efficiency of multidisciplinary optimization of UAV rotor aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, this paper established a low-order method of rotor aerodynamics and noise prediction based on lifting line theory (LLT) and FWH acoustic analogy theory. The maximum errors between the low-order method and the high-fidelity CFD results are 1.53% and 3.3 dB for the thrust and overall sound pressure level (OASPL) respectively, demonstrating the ability of design optimization by the low-order LLT method. Combined with the proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) dimension reduction technique to reduce the variable space, a multidisciplinary optimization of rotor aerodynamics and noise was implemented. The rotor thrust and OASPL were taken as the optimization objectives, and the chord length, thickness, and blade twist angle at different spanwise positions were taken as the design variables. The results show that the proposed optimization strategy effectively reduces the design space, the convergence process is greatly accelerated by coupling the low-order LLT-FWH prediction method, and the whole optimization process is only about 0.094% of the computational resource of the method based on unsteady CFD and conventional optimization method. Compared with the original rotor, the thrust at the design condition is increased by 1.66%, and the OASPL is maximally reduced by 3.10 dB. After optimization, the aerodynamic load fluctuation in the middle of the rotor blade (40%–80% spanwise) is significantly reduced, and the high vorticity area in the wake is reduced from the middle to the blade tip (45%–100% spanwise). The electronic monitoring of offenders is an increasingly popular technique in the criminal justice system. Worldwide, these systems are effectively utilized to monitor individuals on probation as they serve their sentence within the community. The use and significance of electronic monitoring systems are increasing day by day in Türkiye. This paper presents a complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise and kernel-based meta-extreme learning machine hybrid forecasting model using data on active offenders convicted of different crimes between 2013 and 2021 in Türkiye. Thanks to the proposed model, it is aimed to plan the equipment that will be needed and to provide optimal system management by observing the development of electronic monitoring systems in Türkiye. To validate the proposed model, it is compared with some state-of-the-art models. The superiority of the proposed model is shown using some performance metrics. Moreover, the current status of electronic monitoring systems in Türkiye from the past to the present is shown statistically. This paper employs a recent algorithm capable of determining an optimal regularization technique based on a meshless method of fundamental solutions for the onedimensional inverse Stefan problem, where the boundary data is reconstructed on the fixed boundary. The inverse problem is ill-posed. For comparison purposes, we employ Tikhonov, Truncated Singular Value Decomposition, and Randomized Singular Value Decomposition regularization methods to obtain a more accurate solution. [Display omitted] The present paper reports the fabrication of novel types of hybrid fibrous photocatalysts by combining block copolymer (BCP) templating, sol–gel processing, and coaxial electrospinning techniques. Coaxial electrospinning produces core–shell nanofibers (NFs), which are converted into hollow porous TiO 2 NFs using an oxidative calcination step. Hybrid BCP micelles comprising a single plasmonic nanoparticle (NP) in their core and thereof derived silica-coated core–shell particles are utilized as precursors to generate yolk-shell type particulate inclusions in photocatalytically active NFs. The catalytic and photocatalytic activity of calcined NFs comprising different types of yolk-shell particles is systematically investigated and compared. Interestingly, calcined NFs comprising silica-coated yolk-shells demonstrate enhanced catalytic and photocatalytic performance despite the presence of silica shell separating plasmonic NP from the TiO 2 matrix. Electromagnetic simulations indicate that this enhancement is caused by a localized surface plasmon resonance and a confinement effect in silica-coated yolk-shells embedded in porous TiO 2 NFs. Utilization of the coaxially electrospun TiO 2 NFs in combination with yolk-shells comprising plasmonic NPs reveals to be a potent method for the photocatalytic decomposition of numerous pollutants. It is worth noting that this study stands as the first occurrence of combining yolk-shells (Au@void@SiO 2) with porous electrospun NFs (TiO 2) for photocatalytic purposes and gaining an understanding of plasmon and confinement effects for photocatalytic performance. In order to improve the reliability and life of the wind turbine, this paper takes the rolling bearing in the experimental platform of the wind turbine as the research object. In order to obtain the intrinsic mode function (IMF) of each fault type, the original signals of different fault states of the rolling bearing on the experimental platform are decomposed by using the overall average empirical mode decomposition method (EEMD) and the wavelet packet decomposition method (WPD), respectively. Then the energy ratio of the IMF component of the different types of faults to the total energy value is calculated and the eigenvectors of different types of faults are constructed. The extreme learning machine (ELM) and probabilistic neural network (PNN) are used to learn fault types and eigenvector samples to identify the faults of the rolling bearing. It is found that the bearing fault characteristics obtained by the WPD method are more obvious, and the results obtained by the same recognition method are ideal; and the PNN method is obviously superior to the extreme learning machine method in bearing fault recognition rate. This paper investigates the state estimation and event-triggered control for positive nonlinear multi-agent systems. Firstly, a proportional–integral observer is established to estimate the states of the considered nonlinear positive multi-agent systems based on the matrix decomposition method. Then, a dynamic event-triggered mechanism is constructed, and a control protocol is proposed based on the proportional–integral observer and event-triggered mechanism. By combining linear programming with linear co-positive Lyapunov functions, the considered multi-agent systems are guaranteed to be positive and achieve consensus. Moreover, by introducing three new variables and a finite vector, the final convergence point can be changed based on the given vector. This paper establishes a novel technique, which is called the G-double-Laplace transform. This technique is an extension of the generalized Laplace transform. We study its properties with examples and various theorems related to the G-double-Laplace transform that have been addressed and proven. Finally, we apply the G-double-Laplace transform decomposition method to solve the nonlinear sine-Gordon and coupled sine-Gordon equations. This method is a combination of the G-double-Laplace transform and decomposition method. In addition, some examples are examined to establish the accuracy and effectiveness of this technique. The study of ancient irrigation is crucial in the archaeological research of arid regions. It covers a wide range of topics, with the Near East being the focus for decades. However, political instability and limited data have posed challenges to these studies. The primary objective is to establish a standardised method applicable to different arid environments using the Google Earth Engine platform, considering local relief of terrain and seasonal differences in vegetation. This study integrates multispectral data from LANDSAT 5, Sentinel-2, SAR imagery from Sentinel 1, and TanDEM-X (12 m and 30 m) DSMs. Using these datasets, calculations of selected vegetation indices such as the SMTVI and NDVSI, spectral decomposition methods such as TCT and PCA, and topography-based methods such as the MSRM contribute to a comprehensive understanding of landscape irrigation. In this paper, the characteristics of absolute value memristors are verified through the circuit implementation and construction of a chaotic system with a conditional symmetric fractional-order memristor. The dynamic behavior of fractional-order memristor systems is explored using fractional-order calculus theory and the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM). Concurrently, the investigation probes into the existence of coexisting symmetric attractors, multiple coexisting bifurcation diagrams, and Lyapunov exponent spectra (LEs) utilizing system parameters as variables. Additionally, the system demonstrates an intriguing phenomenon known as offset boosting, where the embedding of an offset can adjust the position and size of the system's attractors. To ensure the practical applicability of these findings, a fractional-order sliding mode synchronization control scheme, inspired by integer-order sliding mode theory, is designed. With the continuous emergence of intelligent network applications and complex tasks for mobile terminals, the traditional single computing model often fails to meet the greater requirements of computing and network technology, thus promoting the formation of a new computing power network architecture, of 'cloud, edge and end' three-level heterogeneous computing. For complex divisible computing tasks in the network, task decomposition and offloading help to realize a distributed execution of tasks, thus reducing the overall running time and improving the utilization of fragmented resources in the network. However, in the process of task decomposition and offloading, there are problems, such as there only being a single method of task decomposition; that too large or too small decomposition granularity will lead to an increase in transmission delay; and the pursuit of low-delay and low-energy offloading requirements. Based on this, a complex divisible computing task decomposition and offloading scheme is proposed. Firstly, the computational task is decomposed into multiple task elements based on code partitioning, and then a density-peak-clustering algorithm with an improved adaptive truncation distance and clustering center (ATDCC-DPC) is proposed to cluster the task elements into subtasks based on the task elements themselves and the dependencies between the task elements. Secondly, taking the subtasks as the offloading objects, the improved Double Deep Q-Network subtask offloading algorithm (ISO-DDQN) is proposed to find the optimal offloading scheme that minimizes the delay and energy consumption. Finally, the proposed algorithms are verified by simulation experiments, and the scheme in this paper can effectively reduce the task delay and energy consumption and improve the service experience. This paper proposes a deep learning method to predict the electromagnetic emission spectrum in the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test of aerospace products. A threshold‐based data decomposition method is used to propose the spike signal, reconstruct the original test data, and solve the contradiction between the overfitting and prediction accuracy of the deep learning method to deal with the EMC test spectrum. Using a long short‐term memory neural network architecture for predicting electromagnetic emission spectrum, the Bayesian optimization method is used to optimize the network hyperparameter, and the acquisition function is introduced into the loss function to improve the comprehensive training optimization of deep learning network. Apply the method to three numerical examples: signal line current conduction emission, power line voltage conduction emission, and electric field radiation emission. The analysis results indicate that at a 95% confidence level, the predicted electromagnetic emission spectrum is basically consistent with the test results. Many-objective optimization problems are today ever more common. The decomposition-based approach stands out among the evolutionary algorithms used for their solution, with MOEA/D and its variations playing significant roles. MOEA/D variations seek to improve weight vector definition, improve the dynamic adjustment of weight vectors during the evolution process, improve the evolutionary operators, use alternative decomposition methods, and hybridize with other metaheuristics, among others. Although an essential topic for the success of MOEA/D depends on how well the weight vectors are defined when decomposing the problem, not as much research has been performed on this topic as on the others. This paper proposes using a new mathematical object called augmented covering arrays (ACAs) that enable a better sampling of interactions of M objectives using the least number of weight vectors based on an interaction level (strength), defined a priori by the user. The proposed method obtains better results, measured in inverted generational distance, using small to medium populations (up to 850 solutions) of 30 to 100 objectives over DTLZ and WFG problems against the traditional weight vector definition used by MOEA/D-DE and results obtained by NSGA-III. In this paper, a comparative study between two different methods for solving nonlinear timefractional coupled Boussinesq-Burger equation is conducted. The techniques are denoted as the Natural Transform Decomposition Method (NTDM) and the Variational Iteration Transform Method (VITM). In this paper, we introduce a new method for exact decomposition of propagating, nonlinear magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) disturbances into their component eigenenergies associated with the familiar slow, Alfvén, and fast wave eigenmodes, and the entropy and field-divergence pseudoeigenmodes. First, the mathematical formalism is introduced, where it is illustrated how the ideal-MHD eigensystem can be used to construct a decomposition of the time variation of the total energy density into contributions from the eigenmodes. The decomposition method is then demonstrated by applying it to the output of three separate nonlinear MHD simulations. The analysis of the simulations confirms that the component wave modes of a composite wavefield are uniquely identified by the method. The slow, Alfvén, and fast energy densities are shown to evolve in exactly the way expected from comparison with known linear solutions and nonlinear properties, including processes such as mode conversion. Along the way, some potential pitfalls for the numerical implementation of the decomposition method are identified and discussed. This paper aims to extend the applications of the projected fractional improved Adomian Decomposition method (fIADM) to the fractional order new coupled Korteweg-de Vries (cKdV) system. This technique is significantly recognized for its effectiveness in addressing nonlinearities and iteratively handling fractional derivatives. The approximate solutions of the fractional-order new cKdV system are obtained by employing the improved ADM in fractional form. In order to improve the multi-class assessment performance of transient stability in power systems, a multi-class assessment model that combines the CLV-GAN algorithm with an improved error-correcting output coding technique is proposed in the paper. To address the issue of the small number of unstable samples in power systems, a sample generation model is constructed by combining a dual-encoder VAE with a GAN network. The model generates effective artificial samples to balance the sample ratio between categories by learning the latent distribution of aperiodic and oscillatory unstable samples from the distribution. The decomposition method based on an improved error-correcting output coding algorithm is applied to convert the multi-class problem into a decision fusion issue for binary models. This method improves the overall performance of the multi-class model, particularly significantly increasing the recognition accuracy of discrimination against oscillatory unstable samples and reducing the safety hazards in the operation of power systems. The stabilization problem for uncertain discrete‐time singular Markovian jump systems (DSMJSs) with time‐varying delays is comprehensively covered in this paper. An updated Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is presented via a discrete state decomposition method. With the help of this constructed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some delay‐ and mode‐dependent sufficient conditions for the open‐loop DSMJSs are derived. Based on these circumstances, a memory mode‐dependent state feedback control is used to create a closed‐loop DSMJS with parameter uncertainties that is regular and causal. And then, the stochastically admissible conditions are attained. Through the exact calculation of each decomposition component for the designed memory state feedback controller, the intended memory state feedback controller settings are determined. Sensor faults are one of the most common faults that cause performance degradation or functional loss in permanent magnet traction drive systems (PMTDSs). To quickly diagnose faulty sensors, this paper proposes a real-time joint diagnosis method for multi-sensor faults based on structural analysis. Firstly, based on limited monitoring signals on board, a structured model of the system was established using the structural analysis method. The isolation and detectability of faulty sensors were analyzed using the Dulmage–Mendelsohn decomposition method. Secondly, the minimum collision set method was used to calculate the minimum overdetermined equation set, transforming the higher-order system model into multiple related subsystem models, thereby reducing modeling complexity and facilitating system implementation. Next, residual vectors were constructed based on multiple subsystem models, and fault detection and isolation strategies were designed using the correlation between each subsystem model and the relevant sensors. The validation results of the physical testing platform based on online fault data recordings showed that the proposed method could achieve rapid fault detection and the localization of multi-sensor faults in PMTDS and had a good application value. As the demand for precise navigation of aircraft increases in modern society, researching high-precision, high-autonomy navigation systems is both theoretically valuable and practically significant. Because the inertial navigation system (INS) has systematic and random errors, its output information diverges. Therefore, it is necessary to combine them with other navigation systems for real-time compensation and correction of these errors. The SAR matching positioning and navigation system uses synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image matching for platform positioning and compensates for the drift caused by errors in the inertial measurement unit (IMU). Images obtained by SAR are matched with digital landmark data, and the platform's position is calculated based on the SAR imaging geometry. However, SAR matching positioning faces challenges due to seasonal variations in SAR images, the need for typical landmarks for matching, and the lack of elevation information in two-dimensional SAR image matching. This paper proposes an airborne platform positioning method based on interferometric SAR (InSAR) interferogram matching. InSAR interferograms contain terrain elevation information, are less affected by seasonal changes, and provide higher positioning accuracy and robustness. By matching real-time InSAR-processed interferograms with simulated interferograms using a digital elevation model (DEM), three-dimensional position information about the matching points has been obtained. Subsequently, a three-dimensional positioning model for the platform has bene established using the unit line-of-sight vector decomposition method. In actual flight experiments using an FMCW Ku-band Interferometric SAR system, the proposed platform positioning framework demonstrated its ability to achieve precise positioning in the absence of signals from the global navigation satellite system (GNSS). In mechanical equipment, rolling bearing components are constantly exposed to intricate and diverse environmental conditions, rendering them vulnerable to wear, performance degradation, and potential malfunctions. To precisely extract and discern rolling bearing vibration signals amidst intricate noise interference, this paper introduces a fault feature extraction and diagnosis methodology that seamlessly integrates an improved Fourier decomposition method (FDM), singular value decomposition (SVD), and maximum second-order cyclostationary blind convolution (CYCBD). Initially, the FDM is employed to meticulously decompose the bearing fault signals into numerous signal components. Subsequently, a comprehensive weighted screening criterion is formulated, aiming to strike a balance between multiple indicators, thereby enabling the selective screening and reconstruction of pertinent signal components. Furthermore, SVD and CYCBD techniques are introduced to carry out intricate processing and envelope demodulation analysis of the reconstructed signals. Through rigorous simulation experiments and practical rolling bearing fault diagnosis tests, the method's noteworthy effectiveness in suppressing noise interference, enhancing fault feature information, and efficiently extracting fault features is unequivocally demonstrated. High voltage circuit breakers are one of the core equipment in power system operation, and the voiceprint signals generated during operation contain extremely rich information. This paper proposes a fault identification method for high voltage circuit breakers based on voiceprint information data. In this paper, we focus on solving nonlinear fractional logistic differential equation within the Caputo–Fabrizio fractional derivative operator. First, we present a new numerical scheme called new decomposition transform method (NDTM) for solving general nonlinear fractional differential equations. The proposed scheme is obtained by combining the Jafari transform method and a new decomposition method. Furthermore, we establish the uniqueness theorem of the solution using Banach's fixed point theorem. Finally, after the convergence analysis of the NDTM, we provide two numerical examples of nonlinear fractional logistic differential equations involving the Caputo–Fabrizio fractional derivative operator to validate the results. The pantograph equation is a basic model in the field of delay differential equations. This paper deals with an extended version of the pantograph delay equation by incorporating a variable coefficient of exponential order. At specific values of the involved parameters, the exact solution is obtained by applying the regular Maclaurin series expansion (MSE). A second approach is also applied on the current model based on a hybrid method combining the Laplace transform (LT) and the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) denoted as (LTADM). Although the MSE derives the exact solution in a straightforward manner, the LTADM determines the solution in a closed series form which is theoretically proved for convergence. Further, the accuracy of such a closed-form solution is examined through various comparisons with the exact solution. For validation, the residual errors are calculated and displayed in graphs. The results show that the solution obtained utilizing the LTADM is in full agreement with the exact solution using only a few terms of the closed-form series solution. Moreover, it is found that the residual errors tend to zero, which reflects the effectiveness of the LTADM. The canonical decomposition of a bipartite graph is a new decomposition method that involves three operators: parallel, series, and K ⨁   S . The class of weak-bisplit graphs is the class of totally decomposable graphs with respect to these operators, and the class of bicographs is the class of totally decomposable graphs with respect to parallel and series operators. We prove in this paper that the class of bipartite (P 6 , C 6) -free graphs is the class of bipartite graphs that are totally decomposable with respect to parallel and K ⨁ S operators. We present a linear time recognition algorithm for (P 6 , C 6) -free graphs that is symmetrical to the linear recognition algorithms of weak-bisplit graphs and s t a r 1,2 , 3 -free bipartite graphs. As a result of this algorithm, we present efficient solutions in this class of graphs for two optimization graph problems: the maximum balanced biclique problem and the maximum independent set problem. This paper attempts to explore the decoupling relationship and its drivers between industrial economic increase and energy-related CO2 emissions (ICE). Firstly, the decoupling relationship was evaluated by Tapio index. Then, based on the DEA meta-frontier theory framework which taking into account the regional and industrial heterogeneity and index decomposition method, the driving factors of decoupling process were explored mainly from the view of technology and efficiency. The results show that during 2000e2019, weak decoupling was the primary state. Investment scale expansion was the largest reason hindering decoupling process of industrial increase from ICE. Both energy saving and production technology achieved significant progress, which facilitated the decoupling process. Simultaneously, the energy technology gap and production technology gap among regions have been narrowed, and played a role in promoting decoupling process. On the contrary, both scale economy efficiency and pure technical efficiency have inhibiting effects on decoupling process. The former indicates that the scale economy of China's industry was not conducive to improve energy efficiency and production efficiency, while the latter indicates that resource misallocation problem may exist in both energy market and product market. In the paper, the modulation effect of rotor-stator interaction subjected to fluctuating rotation speed is investigated numerically. A quasi-bivariate variable mode decomposition method for analyzing non-stationary flow fields is proposed for the first time. Different from the previous studies, this paper emphasizes the local features of the transient flow field at fluctuating rotation speed. The results show that the impact of fluctuating rotation speed on the impeller force is limited, but it significantly impacts the pressure pulsation at fluctuating frequency. The correlation between amplitude and fluctuation ratio is positive. Meanwhile, the fluctuating rotation speed also induces sidebands centered on the blade passing frequency and its harmonics. The periodic changes in rotational speed lead to frequency and amplitude modulation of pressure pulsations. The magnitude of the instantaneous frequency and amplitude increases as the fluctuation ratio grows. The change in pressure field is well synchronized with the rotational speed, while the change in velocity field lags behind the rotational speed. The variation of pressure field with rotational speed is mainly attributed to two aspects. Due to the asymmetry of quantum errors, phase-shift errors are more likely to occur than qubit-flip errors. Consequently, there is a need to develop asymmetric quantum error-correcting (QEC) codes that can safeguard quantum information transmitted through asymmetric channels. Currently, a significant body of literature has investigated the construction of asymmetric QEC codes. However, the asymmetry of most QEC codes identified in the literature is limited by the dual-containing condition within the Calderbank-Shor-Steane (CSS) framework. This limitation restricts the exploration of their full potential in terms of asymmetry. In order to enhance the asymmetry of asymmetric QEC codes, we utilize entanglement-assisted technology and exploit the algebraic structure of cyclotomic cosets of constacyclic codes to achieve this goal. In this paper, we generalize the decomposition method of the defining set for constacyclic codes and apply it to count the number of pre-shared entangled states in order to construct four new classes of asymmetric entanglement-assisted quantum maximal-distance separable (EAQMDS) codes that satisfy the asymmetric entanglement-assisted quantum Singleton bound. Compared with the codes existing in the literature, the lengths of the constructed EAQMDS codes and the number of pre-shared entangled states are more general, and the codes constructed in this paper have greater asymmetry. The model-based polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) target decomposition decodes the scattering mechanism of the target by analyzing the essential scattering components. This paper presents a new general three-component scattering power decomposition method by establishing optimization problems. It is known that the existing three-component decomposition method prioritizes the contribution of volume scattering, which often leads to volume scattering energy overestimation and may make double-bounce scattering and odd-bounce scattering component power negative. In this paper, a full parameter optimization method based on the remainder matrix is proposed, where all the elements of the coherency matrix will be taken into account including the remaining T13 component. The optimization is achieved with no priority order by solving the problem using semi-definite programming (SDP) based on the Schur complement theory. By doing so, the problem of volume scattering energy overestimation and negative powers will be avoided. The performance of the proposed approach is demonstrated and evaluated with AIRSAR and GF-3 PolSAR data sets. The experimental results show that by using the proposed method, the power contributions of volume scattering in two sets of data were reduced by at least 2.6% and 3.7% respectively, compared to traditional methods. In this paper, uncertainty propagation problems are addressed by modelling the non-deterministic parameters as an interval field to account for spatial dependency. The interval field is constructed using a recently proposed B-spline based interval field decomposition method, which is related to an explicit formulation composed of B-spline basis functions and corresponding interval field coordinates, which can be incorporated directly into the governing equation of the boundary value problems. The solution to the governing equation can be approximated by a B-spline basis expansion using the collocation method taking advantage of high-degree continuity of B-spline basis functions. In this way, the crisp bounds of the output can be effectively accounted for. Numerical cases are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The impact of the influence radius, the results obtained using an interval variable model and the combined impact of multiple uncertain parameters are also studied. Furthermore, for discretised problems, the interval field finite element formulation is presented and the resulting bounds of the output are determined by the Neumann expansion method, by which the extreme values can be effectively approximated. The Ebola virus continues to be the world's biggest cause of mortality, especially in developing countries, despite the availability of safe and effective immunization. In this paper, we construct a fractional-order Ebola virus model to check the dynamical transmission of the disease as it is impacted by immunization, learning, prompt identification, sanitation regulations, isolation, and mobility limitations with a constant proportional Caputo (CPC) operator. The existence and uniqueness of the proposed model's solutions are discussed using the results of fixed-point theory. The stability results for the fractional model are presented using Ulam–Hyers stability principles. This paper assesses the hybrid fractional operator by applying methods to invert proportional Caputo operators, calculate CPC eigenfunctions, and simulate fractional differential equations computationally. The Laplace–Adomian decomposition method is used to simulate a set of fractional differential equations. A sustainable and unique approach is applied to build numerical and analytic solutions to the model that closely satisfy the theoretical approach to the problem. The tools in this model appear to be fairly powerful, capable of generating the theoretical conditions predicted by the Ebola virus model.
