The article offers insight into the dynamics of Streptococus uberis mastisis. The results of a survey of 97 farms in England and Wales, which show the prevalence of the mastitis, are highlighted. Also discussed are the reasons treatment is ineffective when the bacteriums is apparently sensitive to antibiotics.
