Economic complexity, export product quality, and institutional indicators represent the overall structural change and transformation in an economy. This paper probed the influence of export product quality and economics of complexity on economic growth for 28 OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries using the data from 1990 to 2019. In doing so, the study employs three-panel data econometric models to investigate the role of economic complexity, export quality, and institutional quality on economic development. The paper performs the empirical tests, including the cross-sectional related dependency methods and cointegration techniques. As per the results emerging from fully modified OLS (FMOLS) and dynamic OLS (DOLS) estimation, export quality and financial development positively and significantly strongly impact growth in the long run. The empirical conclusions report detailed discussion on sustainable growth and discuss novel implications concerning product quality and institutional performance. Insurance is a sector that has become more important as increase the economic development and growth level of the countries increase. Furthermore, the insurance sector has a positive influence on economic growth and development. Along with the diversified and developing economic activities, the service area and scope of the insurance sector are also expanding. With the development of the insurance sector, the risks in the economy are minimized. Thus, risks can be eliminated, and more efficient results can be obtained from economic activities. The aim of the paper is to denote the importance of insurance sector in terms of economic growth. The study included G-8 countries and covered the 1996-2019 period. For the econometric analysis, we used the IPS unit root test, Pedroni cointegration test, and FMOLS coefficience. The results displayed that there is a long-run relationship between insurance sector and economic growth. Additionally, the insurance sector has a positive effect on economic growth. This paper empirically examined relevant data on BRICS CO2 emissions, financial development, and economic growth in the past 40 years, and analyzed the correlation between them. Using the cointegration test, it found that there is a clear correlation between the variables in China and South Africa, which show that there is a two-way relationship between CO2 emissions, financial development, and economic growth in both countries. Using the quantile regression method in the analysis, the results demonstrated that at the 0.6th quartile, South Africa's financial development had a negative impact on CO2 emissions, while Brazil's CO2 emissions had a negative impact on financial development. Economic growth was subsequently added as a control variable, and the quantile-on-quantile regression method was used to test the correlation between the financial development of the BRICS countries and their CO2 emissions. Finally, based on empirical conclusions, this paper proposed that BRICS countries should focus on sustainable economic development; when government departments formulate emission-reduction policies, they must reasonably consider the relationship between financial development and emission-reduction policies.
