Rising rates of mental health challenges among youths have become a significant concern following the COVID 19 pandemic. Although strong evidence supports the implementation of universal screening as a preventative approach to address unmet mental health concerns, the research is less clear surrounding the use of such data in decision-making processes when significant discrepancies between informants (e.g., students and teachers) exist. The purpose of the study was twofold. First, the study aimed to determine the degree of rater concordance between teachers and students on students' internalizing concerns. The second objective was to determine whether concordance on internalizing behaviors differs across ages/grades and if this differentially impacts distal (i.e., academic) outcomes. Results indicated that teachers and students demonstrated limited agreement on ratings of internalizing behaviors. However, when students and teachers agreed, higher and more positive emotional behaviors were linked to higher reading/math performance. Furthermore, patterns of informant dis/agreement and relationships between internalizing concerns and academic outcomes were similar across grade levels. Ionic liquids (ILs) exhibit potential as excipients to stabilize proteins in solutions. This mini-review is not a detailed reference book on ILs, rather a brief overview of the main achievements published in the literature on their effect on protein aggregation, unfolding, structural and thermal stability, and activity. The main focus of the manuscript is three widely studied groups of ionic liquids: imidazolium-, cholinium- and alkylammonium-based and their effect on the model and therapeutic proteins. Tectono-magmatic domes are large topographic, structural and volcanic features produced by mantle plume activity in a stationary plate environment. They are major volcanic phenomena that have not been described in reference books on volcanology or geology. Six are currently recognizable, all on continents. The two largest are approximately 500 × 1000 km in area, stand 3000 m a.s.l., and have been continuously active for 15–35 Myr. All six occur over hot spots on effectively stationary plates, and are static equivalents to linear volcanic chains, but with individual volcanic centers distributed radially around dome summits, rather than aligned in a chain of volcanoes of systematically changing age. They have been referred to previously, in publications focused on descriptions of the rift systems in which three of them are found, but these fail to represent the unique characteristics of these phenomena. Accordingly, a formal definition of a tectono-magmatic dome is presented, and the ensuing descriptions are supported by previously published data. The critical features that produce tectono-magmatic domes seem to be mantle plume activity beneath a continental crust that is more buoyant than oceanic crust. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article is a tribute to Professor N. N. Uraltseva on her 90th birthday. Professor Uraltseva is well-known in the field of mathematics, particularly in the theory of differential equations and equations of mathematical physics. Her scientific monographs, published in the 1960s, have become textbooks and reference books in the field. She has received numerous awards for her contributions to the study of linear and quasilinear equations. Professor Uraltseva's research has also focused on free boundary problems and the regularity of solutions. She has been the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Problems in Mathematical Analysis for over 50 years. In this letter, passive RC networks having over unity gain have been revisited. Several works are reviewed, analyzed, if necessary, and conditions of over unity gain are found out by analysis or simulation. A new network is also presented for the same purpose. The main causes of voice disorders in children with adverse vocal behavior include benign lesions of the vocal folds caused by voice abuse or misuses, such as vocal fold nodules, vocal fold polyps, and laryngitis. Long-term voice disorders can affect the physical and mental health of children. Reviewing the literature of the last two decades on "Vocal Fold Nodules," "Vocal Fold Polyp," "Voice disorder," "Voice Abuse," "Voice Misuse," "Pediatrics," and "Children" with the appropriate Boolean operators. Conclusion: A total of 315 results were returned on an initial PubMed search. All articles from 2000 to 2022 written in English or Chinese were screened. Duplicate articles, those relating to adults only or concerned with the malignant lesion of the vocal cord, were excluded, resulting in 196 articles of interest. Relevant references and books have also been consulted, and we provide a review of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of these maladaptive vocal behavioral voice disorders. What is Known: • Hoarseness is the most common voice symptom in children, and there are various causes of hoarseness in children. However, there is a lack of reviews on voice disorders caused by adverse vocal habits in children. • Voice training is a conservative treatment method for children with voice disorders , and it is important to clarify the factors that influence the effectiveness of voice training for children. What is New: • This review of the personality and family characteristics of children with adverse vocal behavioural voice disorders provides a valuable guide to the clinical planning of subsequent treatment. • This article discusses and summarises some of the factors that may influence the effectiveness of voice training in children and collates some of the scales and questionnaires currently used in children that are important in predicting the effectiveness of voice training. A comparative analysis of the best available techniques (BAT) and green chemistry concepts is given. It was assessed whether their convergence is possible and reasonable. The environmental and technological concept of BAT is briefly described, which has become widespread and legally formalized in many countries of the world. The best available techniques were shown to be a tool for increasing the resource efficiency of production and reducing the negative impact on the environment. The requirements of BAT apply to all subsectors of chemical industry. Determination of BAT for chloralkali and pulp and paper industries was considered as a practical example. It was proposed that green chemistry principles, aimed at preventing or reducing the formation of hazardous substances throughout the life cycle of chemical products, should be taken into account when determining BAT for chemical industry. This will help to improve the efficiency of technological regulation in the field of environmental protection. It was assumed that convergence of BAT and green chemistry concepts would create conditions for the formation of green chemical technology as a field of scientific knowledge and for the development of social and environmental responsibility of enterprises. It was emphasized that imperative compliance with BAT requirements as a key criterion for evaluating the life cycle of products, for expert evaluation of sustainable development projects (including green projects), and for substantiation of environmental marketing status would prevent dissemination of unreasonable information about the products of various industries promoted on the market.
