Abstract

The article reports on the results of a phase 2 trial on the use of the neoadjuvant cemplimab in treating patients with resectable stage II to stage IV cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). According to Doctor Neil D. Gross of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the drug showed favorable survival results in patients with 51% of them showing pathologic complete response (pCR) rate per central review.

Abstract

The article reports on the results of the 3 EMPOWER-Lung 3 study that were presented at the 2023 European Society for Medical Oncology Congress, showing that cemiplimab plus chemotherapy showed better favorable survival benefits and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
