Between 19-22 April 2018, in Chișinău, took place the 22nd edition of the International Children's and Youth Book Fair of the Republic of Moldova. The event was organized by the "Ion Creangă" National Library for Children. The objectives were: supporting publishing and dissemination of books for children and youth, promoting of book with a high artistic level and supporting those contributing to create and edit publications for children. Over 150 publishers and representatives of several countries attended the event. During the book fair, the International Conference "Library and Children's Reading: Current Challenges" was also organized, at which representatives of the National Library of Romania participated with two proffesional papers.
