This paper aims to analyse in the pedagogical proposal of the National Service for Commercial Learning (SENAC) the principle of respect for aesthetical, political, and ethical values in the development of aptitudes for social and productive life. That is one of the principles of the National Curricular Guidelines for Vocational and Technical Education at Secondary Level implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC). In a qualitative approach research, we carried a bibliographical and documental review of specific laws, MEC's and SENAC's official documents, and the SENAC/RN's technical documents and politicalpedagogical project. We realised that changes in the world of labour and in the flexible mode of capitalist production influenced such documents, demanding for better training for workers and compelling adjustments to educational actions and to stablish SENAC Formative Marks as a set of attributes that concern technicalscientific competence, critical vision, and a collaborative, sustainable, and entrepreneurial attitude.
