Abstract

The article reports on the results of a phase 2 trial on the use of the neoadjuvant cemplimab in treating patients with resectable stage II to stage IV cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). According to Doctor Neil D. Gross of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the drug showed favorable survival results in patients with 51% of them showing pathologic complete response (pCR) rate per central review.

The article discusses updated data as of 2024 which shows that adjuvant pembrolizumab (Keytruda) extended overall survival (OS) in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) at medium or high risk of recurrence.
