The paper presents a robotic structure composed from two units, one for acting and another flexible one consisting in three modules. A parameterized model of the structure has been developed, with the possibility of changing the structure or the materials of the flexible units, depending on the field of use. Modeling with elements in the dynamic regime replaced by the simulation of the flexible unit control has enabled the completion of constructive solution for the experimental model. The robotic system with a complex movement like serpent may have multiple uses in medicine or industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
