This study develops a stochastic SIRS compartmental model for exploring the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases, integrating the Beddington–DeAngelis incidence rate and vaccination. In the deterministic case, the reproduction number ℛ0 is derived, and the global dynamics is analyzed using the Lyapunov function with respect to ℛ0. The outcomes underscore that ℛ0 completely governs the overall dynamics of the system. In the stochastic case, the primary challenge arises from the two-dimensional boundary system, preventing the Fokker–Planck equation from obtaining the density function of the invariant measure. To address the weak convergence property regarding the invariant measure for both the stochastic system and its corresponding two-dimensional boundary system, the concept of limit measures is introduced. The theoretical results indicate that the persistence and extinction of the infectious disease are entirely determined by the Lyapunov exponent λ, representing the long-term growth rate. AIDS is a chronic infectious disease that has been having a major impact on human health and social stability. In this paper, based on the deterministic SIATR model, a stochastic SIATR model is developed to account for the spread of AIDS by introducing the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process. First, the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution of the model are investigated. Second, a threshold R0E is set: when R0E < 1, the disease will become extinct; when R0E > 1, the disease will persist. Then, it is shown that there exists a stationary distribution for the model when R0E > 1. On this basis, we derive the exact expression for the probability density function of the model in the neighborhood of the quasi-equilibrium state. According to the transmission characteristics of COVID-19, this paper proposes a stochastic SAIRS epidemic model with two mean reversion Ornstein–Uhlenbeck processes and saturated incidence rates. We first prove the existence and uniqueness of the global solution in the stochastic model. Using several suitable Lyapunov methods, we then derive the extinction and persistence of COVID-19 under certain conditions. Further, stationary distribution and ergodic properties are obtained. Moreover, we obtain the probability density function of the stochastic model around the equilibrium. Numerical simulations illustrate our theoretical results and the effect of essential parameters. In this work, we consider a stochastic epidemic model with vaccination, healing and relapse. We prove the existence and the uniqueness of the positive solution. We establish sufficient conditions for the extinction and the persistence in mean of the stochastic system. Moreover, we also establish sufficient conditions for the existence of ergodic stationary distribution to the model, which reveals that the infectious disease will persist. This paper considered a multi-stage sheep brucellosis model with incomplete immunity. First, we established a deterministic model, calculated the basic reproduction number ℛ 0 , set out the conditions for the global stability of the disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium. Second, considering the influence of environmental white noise on brucellosis infection, we further established the stochastic version of the model. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov function, we proved the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution. In this paper, we investigate a two-dimensional avian influenza model with Allee effect and stochasticity. We first show that a unique global positive solution always exists to the stochastic system for any positive initial value. Then, under certain conditions, this solution is proved to be stochastically ultimately bounded. Furthermore, by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of stationary distribution with ergodicity. The conditions for the extinction of infected avian population are also analytically studied. These theoretical results are conformed by computational simulations. We numerically show that the environmental noise can bring different dynamical outcomes to the stochastic model. By scanning different noise intensities, we observe that large noise can cause extinction of infected avian population, which suggests the repression of noise on the spread of avian virus. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a dangerous pandemic and it spreads to many people in most of the world. In this paper, we propose a COVID-19 model with the assumption that it is affected by randomness. For positivity, we prove the global existence of positive solution and the system exhibits extinction under certain parametric restrictions. Moreover, we establish the stability region for the stochastic model under the behavior of stationary distribution. The stationary distribution gives the guarantee of the appearance of infection in the population. Besides that, we find the reproduction ratio R 0 S for prevail and disappear of infection within the human population. In this paper, the dynamical behavior of a stochastic SQEIAR epidemic model is investigated. First of all, we establish sufficient conditions for extinction of the diseases. Then the sufficient conditions for the existence of an ergodic stationary distribution of the positive solutions to the model are obtained by constructing a suitable stochastic Lyapunov function. In this paper, we study the dynamical behavior of a stochastic two-compartment model of B -cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which is perturbed by white noise. Firstly, by constructing suitable Lyapunov functions, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution. Considering the impact of environmental white noise on the quantity and behavior of vector of disease, a stochastic differential model describing the transmission of Dengue fever between mosquitoes and humans, in this paper, is proposed. By using Lyapunov methods and Itô's formula, we first prove the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution for this model. Further, some sufficient conditions for the extinction and persistence in the mean of this stochastic model are obtained by using the techniques of a series of stochastic inequalities. This paper deals with stochastic Chikungunya (CHIKV) virus model along with saturated incidence rate. We show that there exists a unique global positive solution and also we obtain the conditions for the disease to be extinct. Environmental perturbations are unavoidable in the propagation of infectious diseases. In this paper, we introduce the stochasticity into the susceptible–infected–recovered (SIR) model via the parameter perturbation method. The stochastic disturbances associated with the disease transmission coefficient and the mortality rate are presented with two perturbations: Gaussian white noise and Lévy jumps, respectively. This idea provides an overview of disease dynamics under different random perturbation scenarios. By using new techniques and methods, we study certain interesting asymptotic properties of our perturbed model, namely: persistence in the mean, ergodicity and extinction of the disease. This paper presents a nonlinear family of stochastic SEIRS models for diseases such as malaria in a highly random environment with noises from the disease transmission and natural death rates, and also from the random delays of the incubation and immunity periods. Improved analytical methods and local martingale characterizations are applied to find conditions for the disease to persist near an endemic steady state, and also for the disease to remain permanently in the system over time. Moreover, the ergodic stationary distribution for the stochastic process describing the disease dynamics is defined, and the statistical characteristics of the distribution are given numerically. The results of this study show that the disease will persist and become permanent in the system, regardless of (1) whether the noises are from the disease transmission rate and/or from the natural death rates or (2) whether the delays in the system are constant or random for individuals in the system. Furthermore, it is shown that "weak" noise is associated with the existence of an endemic stationary distribution for the disease, while "strong" noise is associated with extinction of the population over time. In this paper, a stochastic epidemic system with both switching noise and white noise is proposed to research the dynamics of the diseases. Nonlinear incidence and vaccination strategies are also considered in the proposed model. By using the method of stochastic analysis, we point out the key parameters that determine the persistence and extinction of the diseases. In this paper, we consider two chemostat models with random perturbation, in which single species depends on two perfectly substitutable resources for growth. For the autonomous system, we first prove that the solution of the system is positive and global. For the non-autonomous system, by using Has'minskii theory on periodic Markov processes, we derive it admits a nontrivial positive periodic solution. This paper investigates the stochastic HTLV-I infection model with CTL immune response, and the corresponding deterministic model has two basic reproduction numbers. We consider the nonlinear CTL immune response for the interaction between the virus and the CTL immune cells. We investigate a stochastic heroin epidemic model with bilinear incidence and varying population size. Sufficient criteria for the extinction of the drug abusers and the existence of ergodic stationary distribution for the model are established by constructing suitable stochastic Lyapunov functions. This paper is devoted to studying the dynamics of a susceptible-infective-latent-infective (SILI) epidemic model that is subject to the combined effects of environmental noise and intervention strategy. We extend the classical SILI epidemic model from a deterministic framework to a stochastic one. For the deterministic case, the global stability analysis of the solution is carried out in terms of the basic reproduction number. For the stochastic case, sufficient conditions for the extinction of diseases are obtained. Then, the existence of stationary distribution and asymptotic behavior of the solution are further studied to illustrate the cycling phenomena of recurrent diseases. In this paper, we explore the long time behavior of a multigroup Susceptible-Infected-Susceptible (SIS) model with stochastic perturbations. The conditions for the disease to die out are obtained. In this paper, the dynamics of a stochastic model for algal bloom with nutrient recycling is investigated. The model incorporates a white noise term in the growth equation of algae population to describe the effects of random fluctuations in the environment, and a nutrient recycling term in the nutrient equation to account for the conversion of detritus into nutrient. The existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution of the model is first proved. Then we study the long-time behavior of the model. Conditions for the extinction and persistence in the mean of the algae population are established. In this paper, we introduce stochasticity into an SIR epidemic model with vaccination. The stochasticity in the model is a standard technique in stochastic population modeling.
