Abstract
The article presents an interview with German chemist Peter Gölitz about his career as editor in chief of the German journal "Angewandte Chemie." Topics include how the process of his introduction of innovations to the journal started, his goals for the journal and how they changed over time and the biggest changes to science publishing in the past 30 years. Also mentioned are the changes in chemistry since the 1980s and his favorite paper published at Angewand during his tenure.
