The article describes the traffic management plan developed by authorities in Shanghai, China to handle the 2010 World Expo crowds that will begin coming by May 1, 2010. Available through www.eastday.com, the plan provides information about the upgraded infrastructure in the city and 747 kilometers of high-speed roads, 38 new roads around the Expo site, and 32 traffic hubs for Expo visitors. The plan presents a municipal rail system, available transportation by rail, bus, boat, or taxi, ferry routs, traffic control area, and parking facilities.
