This study aims to determine and study the effect of giving cocoa husk biochar with this type of fertilizer on the growth of immature shoot grafting. This research was carried out from June 2021 to January 2022, in Batupanga Village, Luyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The research was carried out as an experiment using a Randomized Block Design (RAK), where the treatments were control, biochar, NPK fertilizer, manure, biochar, and NPK fertilizer, biochar, and manure, biochar and actinomycetes bacteria with 3 replications. with 2 sample plants per experiment so that there are 42 experimental units. The results showed that the treatment of biochar and actinomycetes bacteria produced the highest average stem diameter (14.29 mm), the highest number of leaves (20.67 leaves), and the highest number of stomata, and the highest average number of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll. Obtained treatment of biochar and bacteria actinomycetes is the best treatment to support the growth of immature cocoa plants. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
