The 2nd International Conference of Mechanical System Dynamics (ICMSD2023) is devoted to “Technology Innovations by Understanding Mechanical Dynamics”, with 18 sessions to promote research in dynamic theories on complex structures, multidisciplinary integration, and advanced technologies for applications. It is held on September 1–5 in Peking University, Beijing, China. The conference is expected to provide a platform for academic researchers and engineers in the field of mechanical system dynamics to exchange scientific and technical ideas.

This book gathers the latest advances, innovations, and applications in the field of computational engineering, as presented by leading international researchers and engineers at the 29th International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES), held in Shenzhen, China on May 26-29, 2023. ICCES covers all aspects of applied sciences and engineering: theoretical, analytical, computational, and experimental studies and solutions of problems in the physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, electrical, and mathematical sciences. Phytochemistry in Corrosion Science covers the use of plant extracts/phytochemicals in corrosion mitigation with industrial applications. It explores innovative and characterization approaches toward the utilization of plant extracts and their phytochemicals as potential corrosion inhibitors for several metals and their alloys.Providing a comprehensive overview of the green aspects of plant extracts as corrosion inhibitors, this book discusses the preparation of aqueous and organic phase extracts, and their advantages, disadvantages, and use for different aggressive media. Basierend auf ausführlichen Grundlagenuntersuchungen am Batterieprüfstand identifiziert er einen Indikator für die Bewertung von Traktionsbatterien in Hybrid- und Elektrofahrzeugen. Der Autor realisiert die Erfassung der Werte im Fahrzeug über ein geführtes Diagnoseverfahren. Die Bewertung der Traktionsbatterie erfolgt durch einen lernenden Algorithmus. Den praktischen Nachweis der auf weitere Fahrzeugmodelle übertragbaren Methode führt Huynh an zwei Fahrzeugmodellen mit über 350 Testobjekten durch.
