This anthology deals with changes in values, norms, and attitudes in our society, which is increasingly characterized by cultural diversity. Embedded in the current debate about a'post-migrant society', the contributions present findings that have emerged within the framework of various research projects of the BMBF funding line'Migration and Social Change'. They deal with differences and similarities regarding the values and norms of people with and without a migratory background, the connections between values and integration mechanisms, and many more. The contributions focus on values and norms concerning family, gender relations, education, and religion. The English translation of this book, originally in German, was facilitated by artificial intelligence. The content was later revised by the authors for accuracy.

Dieser Sammelband beschäftigt sich mit Werte-, Normen- und Einstellungswandel in unserer durch zunehmende kulturelle Differenz geprägten Gesellschaft. Eingebettet in die aktuelle Diskussion um eine „postmigrantische Gesellschaft“ stellen die Beiträge Erkenntnisse vor, die im Rahmen verschiedener Forschungsprojekte der BMBF-Förderlinie „Migration und gesellschaftlicher Wandel“ entstanden sind. Behandelt werden Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten in Bezug auf Werte- und Normenvorstellungen von Menschen mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund, Zusammenhänge zwischen Wertvorstellungen und Integrationsmechanismen, die Notwendigkeit von Werte-, Normen- und Verhaltenswandel in verschiedenen Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft u.v.m. Die Beiträge thematisieren vor allem Werte und Normen im Zusammenhang mit Familie, Geschlechterbeziehungen, Gleichberechtigung, Erziehung, Religion und Sprache. Diese stehen auch im Fokus aktueller Diskurse in unserer von Migration geprägten Gesellschaft.

De nombreux théoriciens issus de domaines variés - sociologues, historiens, psychologues et autres philosophes - s'accordent à dire que le monde actuel est totalement gouverné par l'affect et vit à travers une certaine exacerbation du pathos. L'art, en étant pour chacun le miroir de la société, ne semble pas en reste quant à la décharge affective qu'il permet. Pourtant, les arts actuels offrent une grande variété de pratiques et de styles, par le biais d'artistes tout autant antithétiques. Parmi les plus médiatiques, Jeff Koons et Marina Abramovic semblent être ici les meilleurs exemples à étudier. L'affect serait-il le lien entre ces artistes si différents? Serait-il leur seul point commun? Dans un voyage au coeur des émotions de l'un et l'autre, nous verrons que l'affect est présent de manière bien plus profonde que l'on pouvait l'imaginer, au sein du processus créatif.

Au centre de toute relation sociale entre des individus ou entre des groupes, des collectivités, la relation d'altérité fondant le Eux et le Nous recèle en elle-même un enjeu éthique dont ne peuvent s'abstraire les interventions cliniques et sociales. Si l'altérité procède des relations sociales où elle devient constitutive du lien social et pose la question de l'éthique de la relation à l'autre, elle prend une acuité particulière dans les sociétés dites « multiculturelles » où les valeurs des uns se mesurent à celles des autres, où individualisme et universalisme se confrontent, où le droit à la différence des individus prend inévitablement le risque de conduire à la différence des droits. Cet ouvrage est un recueil de réflexions et d'analyses ancrées dans l'étude des pratiques de l'intervention clinique et sociale en situation interethnique. Dans les sociétés pluralistes, les questions d'altérité culturelle ne peuvent être banalisées car dans l'intervention elles sont toujours étroitement liées à l'équité, à l'égalité et aux droits, soit à l'exercice même de la citoyenneté. L'altérité, au sens de la reconnaissance d'un autre que nous-mêmes, procède d'une construction historique, socialement située, au cours de laquelle les individus donnent un certain sens à leurs relations avec d'autres individus, s'octroient et assignent des positions, définissent des statuts et décident des droits pour eux-mêmes et ceux qui les entourent. Véritable dialectique du rapport à soi par cette reconnaissance d'un autre, elle peut se faire ouverture et source de construction identitaire plus riche mais également fermeture, pouvoir de réification ou d'exclusion.
