The Mathematical Combinatorics (International Book Series) is a fully refereed international book series, and published quarterly comprising 100-150 pages approx. per volume, which publishes original research papers and survey articles in all aspects of Smarandache multi-spaces, Smarandache geometries, mathematical combinatorics, non-euclidean geometry and topology and their applications to other sciences.

This volume presents the proceedings of the CRM workshop on graph coloring and applications. The articles span a wide spectrum of topics related to graph coloring, including: list-colorings, total colorings, colorings and embeddings of graphs, chromatic polynomials, characteristic polynomials, chromatic scheduling, and graph coloring problems related to frequency assignment. Outstanding researchers in combinatorial optimization and graph theory contributed their work. A list of open problems is included.

The articles collected in this book were presented at the DIMACS Workshop on Network Switching, held in July 1997 at Princeton University. These papers cover a variety of issues related to network switching, including network environment, routing, network topology, switching components, nonblockingness, and optimization.

Ramsey theory is a dynamic area of combinatorics that has various applications in analysis, ergodic theory, logic, number theory, probability theory, theoretical computer science, and topological dynamics. This book is devoted to one of the most important areas of Ramsey theory—the Ramsey theory of product spaces. It is a culmination of a series of recent breakthroughs by the two authors and their students who were able to lift this theory to the infinite-dimensional case. The book presents many major results and methods in the area, such as Szemerédi's regularity method, the hypergraph removal lemma, and the density Hales–Jewett theorem. This book addresses researchers in combinatorics but also working mathematicians and advanced graduate students who are interested in Ramsey theory. The prerequisites for reading this book are rather minimal: it only requires familiarity, at the graduate level, with probability theory and real analysis. Some familiarity with the basics of Ramsey theory would be beneficial, though not necessary. This volume contains the proceedings of the conference on Riemann and Klein Surfaces, Symmetries and Moduli Spaces, in honor of Emilio Bujalance, held from June 24–28, 2013, at Linköping University. The conference and this volume are devoted to the mathematics that Emilio Bujalance has worked with in the following areas, all with a computational flavor: Riemann and Klein surfaces, automorphisms of real and complex surfaces, group actions on surfaces and topological properties of moduli spaces of complex curves and Abelian varieties.

Articles in this collection are devoted to modern problems of topology, geometry, mathematical physics, and integrable systems, and they are based on talks given at the famous Novikov's seminar at the Steklov Institute of Mathematics in Moscow in 2012–2014. This volume, based on lectures and short communications at a summer school in Villa de Leyva, Colombia (July 2005), offers an introduction to some recent developments in several active topics at the interface between geometry, topology and quantum field theory. It is aimed at graduate students in physics or mathematics who might want insight in the following topics (covered in five survey lectures): Anomalies and noncommutative geometry, Deformation quantisation and Poisson algebras, Topological quantum field theory and orbifolds. These lectures are followed by nine articles on various topics at the borderline of mathematics and physics ranging from quasicrystals to invariant instantons through black holes, and involving a number of mathematical tools borrowed from geometry, algebra and analysis.
