Die Untersuchung befasst sich mit der Problematik von Grundschülern, die aufgrund von neuromotorischen Aufrichtungsdefiziten räumlich-konstruktive Störungen aufweisen. Es werden Zusammenhänge zwischen der frühkindlichen Entwicklung, der Etablierung der Blickmotorik sowie den als Spätfolge zu beobachtenden räumlich-konstruktiven Störungen hergeleitet und anhand von einer Quer- und Längsschnittuntersuchung überprüft. Die empirische Untersuchung verdeutlicht, warum die klassischen Therapie- und Fördermethoden bei den untersuchten Auffälligkeiten nicht immer ausreichen. Gleichzeitig wird das neuentwickelte neuromotorische Förderprogramm vorgestellt. Es wird gezeigt, dass die zuvor beschriebenen Auffälligkeiten allein durch gymnastische Übungen zur neuromotorischen Aufrichtung gemindert werden.
