This book constitutes the revised selected papers from the 13 European Conference on Multi-Agent Systems, EUMAS 2015, and the Third International Conference on Agreement Technologies, AT 2015, held in Athens, Greece, in December 2015.The 36 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 65 submissions. They are organized in topical sections named: coordination and planning; learning and optimization, argumentation and negotiation; norms, trust, and reputation; agent-based simulation and agent programming.

This volume contains the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Second International Conference on Exascale Applications and Software, EASC 2014, held in Stockholm, Sweden, in April 2014. The 6 full papers presented together with 6 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 17 submissions. They are organized in two topical sections named: toward exascale scientific applications and development environment for exascale applications.

This volume contains a selection of the papers presented at the 11th International Workshop on Multi-Agent-Based Simulation (MABS 2010), a workshop co-located with the 9th International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS 2010), which was held on May 10-14, 2010 in Toronto, Canada. The 11 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 26 submissions. The workshop has been an important source of inspiration for the body of knowledge that has been produced in the field of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS). As illustrated by this volume, the workshop continues to bring together researchers interested in MAS engineering with researchers focused on finding efficient ways to model complex social systems in social, economic and organizational areas. In all these areas, agent theories, metaphors, models, analyses, experimental designs, empirical studies, and methodological principles all converge into simulation as a way of achieving explanations and predictions, exploring and testing hypotheses, and producing better designs and systems.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 12th International Workshop on Multi-Agent-Based Simulation, MABS 2011, held in Taipei, Taiwan, in May 2011. The 10 revised selected and extended papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 21 submissions. The topics covered are MABS in scientometrics; MABS in politics, transit and policy; pedestrian, crowds and large scale MABS; and MABS modeling.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 12th International Symposium on Frontiers of Combining Systems, FroCoS 2019, held in London, UK, in September 2019, colocated with the 28th International Conference on Automated Reasoning with Analytic Tableaux and Related Methods, TABLEAUX 2019. The 20 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions. They present research on the development of techniques and methods for the combination and integration of formal systems, their modularization and analysis. The papers are organized in the following topical sections: automated theorem proving and model building, combinations of systems, constraint solving, description logics, interactive theorem proving, modal and epistemic logics, and rewriting and unification.

This open access two-volume set LNCS 10980 and 10981 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 30th International Conference on Computer Aided Verification, CAV 2018, held in Oxford, UK, in July 2018. The 52 full and 13 tool papers presented together with 3 invited papers and 2 tutorials were carefully reviewed and selected from 215 submissions. The papers cover a wide range of topics and techniques, from algorithmic and logical foundations of verification to practical applications in distributed, networked, cyber-physical, and autonomous systems. They are organized in topical sections on model checking, program analysis using polyhedra, synthesis, learning, runtime verification, hybrid and timed systems, tools, probabilistic systems, static analysis, theory and security, SAT, SMT and decisions procedures, concurrency, and CPS, hardware, industrial applications.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Formal Modeling and Analysis of Timed Systems, FORMATS 2018, held in Beijing, China, in September 2018. The 14 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 29 submissions. The papers are organized in the following topical sections: invited papers, temporal logics, distributed timed systems, behavioral equivalences, timed words, and continuous dynamical systems. The aim of FORMATS is to promote the study of fundamental and practical aspects of timed systems, and to bring together researchers from different disciplines that share interests in modeling and analysis of timed systems and, as a generalization, hybrid systems.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 14th German Conference on Multiagent System Technologies, MATES 2016, held in Klagenfurt, Austria, in September 2016. 12 long papers and 5 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 28 submissions.MATES 2016 conference talks covered a broad area of topics of interest including MAS engineering and modeling, issues of human-agent interaction, collaboration and coordination, agent-based adaptation and optimization, and applications of MAS, in particular in the smart energy domain.

The 2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence (AICI 2010) was held October 23–24, 2010 in Sanya, China. The AICI 2010 received 1,216 submissions from 20 countries and regions. After rigorous reviews, 105 high-quality papers were selected for publication in the AICI 2010 proceedings. The acceptance rate was 8%. The aim of AICI 2010 was to bring together researchers working in many different areas of artificial intelligence and computational intelligence to foster the exchange of new ideas and promote international collaborations. In addition to the large number of submitted papers and invited sessions, there were several internationally well-known keynote speakers. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we thank Hainan Province Institute of Computer and Qiongzhou University for its sponsorship and logistics support. We also thank the members of the Organizing Committee and the Program Committee for their hard work. We are very grateful to the keynote speakers, invited session organizers, session chairs, reviewers, and student helpers. We designed the wo- shop to serve as a regular forum for researchers in academia and industry who are interested in the exciting field of self-organizing maps (SOM). The program includes excellent examples of the use of SOM in many areas of social sciences, economics, computational biology, engineering, time series analysis, data visualization and c- puter science as well a vibrant set of theoretical papers that keep pushing the envelope of the original SOM. The aim of this conference series is to bring together researchers from a wide variety of fields in which formal logic plays a significant role.
