Data Mining ist eine Technik, um Informationen aus großen Mengen Daten zu extrahieren. Die Auswertung medizinischer Daten mit Hilfe von Machine Learning und Künstlicher Intelligenz kann Ärzt/inn/en dabei unterstützen, bessere Entscheidungen zu treffen, Diagnosen zu stellen und die Arbeitslast insgesamt zu minimieren. Data Mining bietet viele Methoden, um Informationen aus medizinischen Datensets zu erhalten. Techniken wie Klassifikation, Clustering und Rule Mining können für die Analyse von Daten verwendet werden. Die Vorhersage von Erkrankungen ist nur ein Beispiel für den Einsatz von Data Mining im Gesundheitsbereich. Durch die Nutzung von maschinellem Lernen könnte die Anzahl an Tests und die Zeit, die benötigt werden, um eine Krankheit zu diagnostizieren, verringert werden. Einige Paper und Artikel haben sich bereits mit verschiedenen Data Mining Methoden für die Vorhersage von Erkrankungen beschäftigt und diese miteinander verglichen. Kumari et al. verglichen beispielsweise KNN, Logistische Regression und Support Vector Machine miteinander, wobei der KNN die höchste Accuracy erreichte. Diese Arbeit stellt sich nun ebenfalls die Frage, ob die Genauigkeit bei unterschiedlichen Methoden voneinander abweicht oder sehr ähnlich ist. In dieser Bachelorthesis soll geklärt werden, welche der drei Klassifikatoren, KNN, SVM und Entscheidungsbaum, für die Vorhersage von Brustkrebs am besten geeignet ist. Dabei wird die Genauigkeit (Accuracy) der unterschiedlichen Methoden miteinander verglichen und eine Entscheidung über die Eignung getroffen. Außerdem wird getestet, ob eine anfängliche Feature Selection (Auswahl der relevanten Merkmale) eine Auswirkung auf die Accuracy hat. Die Ergebnisse werden dann im nächsten Schritt mit verwandten Studien verglichen. Für diese Analyse wird das Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset der UCI verwendet, das im Internet frei zur Verfügung steht.

MobileHCI is a forum for academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges and potential solutions for e?ective human-computer interaction with mobile systems and services. It covers the design, evaluation and application of te- niques and approaches for all mobile computing devices and services. MobileHCI 2004 was the sixth in the series of conferences that was started at Glasgow U- versity in 1998 by Chris Johnson. We previously chaired the conference in 1999 in Edinburgh (as part of INTERACT 1999) and in 2001 in Lille (as part of IHM-HCI 2001). The last two years saw the conference move to Italy,?rst - der the chairmanship of Fabio Patern` o in Pisa then under Luca Chittaro in Udine. In 2005 the conference will move to Austria to be chaired by Manfred Tscheligi. Each year the conference has its own website hosted by the conference chair, however the address www. mobilehci. org will always point to the next (or current) conference. The number of submissions has increased every year. This year we received 79 full papers (63 were received last year) from which we accepted the best 25. We had 81 short papers and posters submitted (59 last year) and accepted 20 of these as short papers and 22 as posters. We received 9 workshop, 4 tutorial and 2 panel proposals, from which 5, 2 and 2, respectively, were accepted.

Enterprises and organizations of any kind embedded in today's economic environment are deeply dependent on their ability to take part in collaborations. Consequently, it is strongly required for them to get actively involved for their own benefit in emerging, potentially opportunistic collaborative enterprise networks. The concept of “interoperability” has been defined by INTEROP-VLab as “The ability of an enterprise system or application to interact with others at a low cost in a flexible approach”. Consequently, interoperability of organizations appears as a major issue to succeed in building on the fly emerging enterprise networks. The International Conference on Interoperability for Enterprise Systems and Applications (I-ESA 2014) was held under the motto “interoperability for agility, resilience and plasticity of collaborations” on March 26-28, 2014 and organized by the Ecole des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux, France on behalf of the European Laboratory for Enterprise Interoperability (INTEROP-VLab). On March 24-25, co-located with the conference eight workshops and one doctoral symposium were held in four tracks complementing the program of the I-ESA'14 conference. The workshops and the doctoral symposium address areas of greatest current activity focusing on active discussions among the leading researchers in the area of Enterprise Interoperability. This part of the conference helps the community to operate effectively, building co-operative and supportive international links as well as providing new knowledge of on-going research to practitioners. The workshops and doctoral symposium aimed at exploiting new issues, challenges and solutions for Enterprise Interoperability (EI) and associated domains of innovation such as Smart Industry, Internet-Of-Things, Factories of the Future, EI Applications and Standardisation. These proceedings include the short papers from the I-ESA'14 workshops and the doctoral symposium. The book is split up into 9 sections, one for each workshop and one for the doctoral symposium. All sections were organized following four tracks: (1) EI and Future Internet / Factory of the Future; (2) EI Application Domains and IT; (3) EI Standards; (4) EI Doctoral Symposium. For each section, a workshop report is provided summarizing the content and the issues discussed during the sessions. The goal of the first track was to offer a discussion opportunity on interoperability issues regarding the use of Internet of Things on manufacturing environment (Workshops 1 and 3) on one hand, and regarding the potential of innovation derived from the use of digital methods, architectures and services such as Smart Networks (Workshops 2 and 4) on the other hand. The third track studied the recent developments in EI standardization. Two workshops were dedicated to this issue. The first one has proposed to focus on the management of standardization (Workshop 8) and the second one has chosen to work on the new knowledge on standardization developments in the manufacturing service domain (Workshop 9). The last track, the doctoral symposium presented research results from selected dissertations.
