In this paper, bibliometric analysis of scientific literature published during the period 1996-2020 in.the field of Applied Mathematics has been presented using Scopus linked SCImago country ranking database. Further, India's contribution at global level is highlighted in particular using key bibliometric indicators namely document published, citations (external/self) and citations per document along with their annual corresponding growth to validate the findings. India is growing exponentially and contributing 2.5% to global research output with average 11.63% of annual corresponding growth. In addition, citations (external/self) and citations per document show average annual corresponding growth within ±5%. Vandermonde matrices are fundamental in applied mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering. The inverse form of the Vandermonde matrix (V) is one of its most important characteristics. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm for the inverse of Vandermonde matrix, V-1 in the Python programming language using the Synthetic Division method. To compute the elements of V-1, the Synthetic Division uses arithmetic operations, multiplications, and additions. Consequently, inverse matrix computations require less time compared to a method that involved the multiplication of two matrices. In addition, the efficiency and time required to compute V-1 using Synthetic Division versus the numpy.linalg.inv() function in the Python NumPy module are compared. The study found that the NumPy inverse function demonstrated that the time computation of inverse matrices is consistent, except for certain sizes. In contrast, the Synthetic Division algorithm appears consistent regardless of matrix size. Therefore, Synthetic Division is an effective and efficient method for computing V-1. Linear programming is one of the basic concepts to further study in applied mathematics and optimization. If the constraints of the linear programming problem form a convex region, then the problem must have an optimal solution. Cube is convex and, in terms of geometry, cube is very special. Cube has some special properties that all edges are congruent and also the all sides are congruent. Other special properties of the cube are related to orthogonality and parallelism. This paper discus linear programming problems with cube constraints. This research is study literature research to describe linear programming problems with cube constraints on geometrical angle. Considering the peculiarities of a cube, this linear programming problem must have an optimal solution. The results show the following points: 1) A cube is a convex polyhedron; 2) The steps for solving linear programming with cube constraints are analogous to the steps for solving linear programming in two dimensions using the graphical method, finding all the vertices of the cube and calculating the value of the objective function at all of the vertices, and then determining the vertex point that produces the optimal value; 3) The problem can have a unique solution (vertex) or have infinitely many solutions (the points along the edges or on the side planes of the cube). The eigenvalue of a dynamical system can be used to determine the stability of such system. In general, the eigenvalues will form two kinds of spectrum, i.e. the continuous and point spectra. This paper will presents two methods for determining the spectrum of eigenvalues, i.e., the Sturm-Liouville Theory and the Evans function. In this paper we study asymptotic properties of solutions of nonlinear dynamic systems on time scales of the form yΔ(t) = f(t, y(t)), where f: 핋 x ℝn → ℝn, and 핋 is a time scale. For a given set Ω ⊂ 핋 x ℝn, we formulate conditions for function f which guarantee that at least one solution y of the above system stays in Ω. Unlike previous papers, we assume the set Ω in more general shape or we formulate the conditions guaranteeing an existence of bounded solution in easier and better verifiable form. In this paper we present a numerical study of two streamwise supersonic vortices interaction. A pair of vortices was generated by two coaxial straight wings with sharp leading and trailing edges. Mach number of incoming flow was M∞ = 3. Two configurations are considered: a pair of co-rotating vortices and a pair of counter-rotating vortices. In the case of counter-rotating vortices the wings attack angle was 10 degrees. In the case of co-rotating vortices the attack angle of one of the wings was 10 degrees, the attack angle of other one was -10 degrees. Numerical data were obtained in the domain of 10 wing chords downstream from a wings axis by a computational model based on the URANS equations with SA turbulence model. Numerical simulations were performed on the hybrid supercomputing system K-60 at the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics RAS using the developed software package ARES for 3D turbulent flows modeling on high performance computing systems. In this paper we study the asymptotic behavior of the Hausdorff distance between Heaviside function and the Epsilon and Omega distribution functions, introduced in [24], [28]. Investigations of "saturation to the horizontal asymptote a = 1, in the Hausdorff sense" is important for professionals working in the field of financial mathematics. We prove precise bound d = ln m m + O (1 m) . One of the most significant goals of any insurance risk activity is to achieve a satisfactory model for the probability distribution of the total claim amount. The estimates for the value of the best Hausdorff approximation of Heaviside function by fixed cumulative distribution function give more insight on the parameters in the strategy "Insurance responsibility". The paper concerns the problem of local instability of thin facings of a sandwich panel. The classic analytical solutions are compared and examined. The Airy stress function is applied in the case of the state of plane stress and the state of plane strain. Wrinkling stress values are presented. The paper presents approaches to implementation of solution of discrete dynamical system of mutually repelling particles. Two platforms: a single-thread JAVA process and parallelized CUDA C solution, are employed for the dynamical simulation. A class of discrete dynamical systems is introduced to unify various dynamical systems that appeared in the study of phase transition phenomenon of Ising model on the Cayley tree. We give an alternative method to study the stable fixed points of these dynamical systems. The regions of non-uniqueness of stable fixed point and single stable fixed point are immediately obtained. In mathematics, disposition is a very important component because students are accustomed to getting problems that require a positive attitude, desire, passion, and persistence to solve them. Without a good disposition, students will not be able to achieve competence or mathematical skills as expected. Based on the results of the PISA and TIMSS in Indonesia students, it is known that students have difficulty in applying mathematics to real-life situations. Therefore, a learning model is needed that can lead students to meaningful learning. Previously, preliminary research was conducted on the ethnomathematics activities of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community in Jambi Province. The findings in the preliminary study were combined with the Realistic Mathematics Learning approach, hereinafter referred to as the Ethnomathematical. Realistic Mathematics Learning with an Ethnomathematics Approach of the Suku Anak Dalam (RME SAD) tested on seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Balai. This study examines the improvement of mathematical dispositions between students who received the RME SAD approach and students who received conventional learning, reviewed as a whole and reviewed according to the categories of high, medium and low students' initial mathematical abilities. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control-group design. The data obtained were analyzed using the mean difference test, namely t-test and Mann-Whitney. The results showed that there is no difference in the mathematical disposition of students who receive RME SAD learning than students who receive conventional learning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The authors continue testing the Environmentally Sensitive Index Patch - ESPI -to the whole region of Sicily for a comprehensive interpretation of the sensitivity of the areas to desertification under the Protocol MEDALUS (MEditerranean Desertification Areas and Land USe). They apply the index ESPI to three scenarios - to the first half of the twentieth century, the second half of the twentieth, the twenty-first century and to their three respective indices of Quality Climate. From the application of ESPI the authors deduce that the improvement of sensitivity to desertification in Sicily, between the first and second half of the last century, is not due to the climate constant deteriorates between the three periods analyzed.
