With the rapid development of the intelligent driving technology, achieving accurate path planning for unmanned vehicles has become increasingly crucial. However, path planning algorithms face challenges when dealing with complex and ever-changing road conditions. In this paper, aiming at improving the accuracy and robustness of the generated path, a global programming algorithm based on optimization is proposed, while maintaining the efficiency of the traditional A* algorithm. Firstly, turning penalty function and obstacle raster coefficient are integrated into the search cost function to increase the adaptability and directionality of the search path to the map. Secondly, an efficient search strategy is proposed to solve the problem that trajectories will pass through sparse obstacles while reducing spatial complexity. Thirdly, a redundant node elimination strategy based on discrete smoothing optimization effectively reduces the total length of control points and paths, and greatly reduces the difficulty of subsequent trajectory optimization. Finally, the simulation results, based on real map rasterization, highlight the advanced performance of the path planning and the comparison among the baselines and the proposed strategy showcases that the optimized A* algorithm significantly enhances the security and rationality of the planned path. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) infrared detection has problems such as weak and small targets, complex backgrounds, and poor real-time detection performance. It is difficult for general target detection algorithms to achieve the requirements of a high detection rate, low missed detection rate, and high real-time performance. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes an improved small target detection method based on Picodet. First, to address the problem of poor real-time performance, an improved lightweight LCNet network was introduced as the backbone network for feature extraction. Secondly, in order to solve the problems of high false detection rate and missed detection rate due to weak targets, the Squeeze-and-Excitation module was added and the feature pyramid structure was improved. Experimental results obtained on the HIT-UAV public dataset show that the improved detection model's real-time frame rate increased by 31 fps and the average accuracy (MAP) increased by 7%, which proves the effectiveness of this method for UAV infrared small target detection. Visual-inertial odometry (VIO) algorithms, fusing various features such as points and lines, are able to improve their performance in challenging scenes while the running time severely increases. In this paper, we propose a novel lightweight point–line visual–inertial odometry algorithm to solve this problem, called LRPL-VIO. Firstly, a fast line matching method is proposed based on the assumption that the photometric values of endpoints and midpoints are invariant between consecutive frames, which greatly reduces the time consumption of the front end. Then, an efficient filter-based state estimation framework is designed to finish information fusion (point, line, and inertial). Fresh measurements of line features with good tracking quality are selected for state estimation using a unique feature selection scheme, which improves the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Finally, validation experiments are conducted on public datasets and in real-world tests to evaluate the performance of LRPL-VIO and the results show that we outperform other state-of-the-art algorithms especially in terms of speed and robustness. The paper proposes a topology-free specification of distributed control systems by means of a process-oriented programming paradigm. The proposed approach was characterized, on the one hand, by a topologically independent specification of the control algorithm and, on the other hand, by the possibility of using existing formal verification methods by preserving the semantics of a centralized process-oriented program. The paper discusses the advantages of a topologically independent specification of distributed control systems, outlines the features of control software, argues why the use of a process-oriented approach to the development of the automation of cyber-physical systems is suitable for solving these problems, describes a general scheme for implementing a distributed control system according to a process-oriented specification, and proposes a formal heuristic algorithm for partitioning a sequential process-oriented program into independent clusters. Close-range photogrammetry methods are widely used for non-contact and accurate measurements of surface shapes. These methods are based on calculating the three-dimensional coordinates of an object from two-dimensional images using special digital processing algorithms. Due to the relatively complex measurement principle, the accurate estimation of the photogrammetric measurement error is a non-trivial task. Typically, theoretical estimations or computer modelling are used to solve this problem. However, these approaches cannot provide an accurate estimate because it is impossible to consider all factors that influence the measurement results. To solve this problem, we propose the use of physical modelling. The measurement results from the photogrammetric system under test were compared with the results of a more accurate reference measurement method. This comparison allowed the error to be estimated under controlled conditions. The test object was a flexible surface whose shape could vary smoothly over a wide range. The estimation of the measurement accuracy for a large number of different surface shapes allows us to obtain new results that are difficult to obtain using standard approaches. To implement the proposed approach, a laboratory system for the error estimation of close-range photogrammetric measurements was developed. The paper contains a detailed description of the developed system and the proposed technique for a comparison of the measurement results. The error in the reference method, which was chosen to be phasogrammetry, was evaluated experimentally. Experimental testing of the stereo photogrammetric system was performed according to the proposed technique. In software-defined networking (SDN), the traffic forwarding delay highly depends on the latency associated with updating the forwarding rules in flow tables. With the increase in fine-grained flow control requirements, due to the flexible control capabilities of SDN, more rules are being inserted and removed from flow tables. Moreover, the matching fields of these rules might overlap since multiple control domains might generate different rules for similar flows. This overlap implies dependency relationships among the rules, imposing various restrictions on forwarding entries during updates, e.g., by following update orders or storing entries at specified locations, especially in flow tables implemented using ternary content addressable memory (TCAM); otherwise, mismatching or packet dropping will occur. It usually takes a while to resolve and maintain dependencies during updates, which hinders high forwarding efficiency. To reduce the delay associated with updating dependent rules, in this paper, we propose an updating algorithm for TCAM-based flow tables. We formulate the TCAM maintenance process as an NP-hard problem and analyze the inefficiency of existing moving approaches. To solve the problem, we propose an optimal moving chain for single rule updates and provide theoretical proof for its minimum moving steps. For multiple rules arriving at a switch simultaneously, we designed a dynamic approach to update concurrent entries; it is able to update multiple rules heuristically within a restricted TCAM region. As the update efficiency concerns dependencies among rules, we evaluate our flow table by updating algorithms with different dependency complexities. The results show that our approach achieves about 6% fewer moving steps than existing approaches. The accurate identification of highly similar sheet metal parts remains a challenging issue in sheet metal production. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an effective mean square differences (EMSD) algorithm that can effectively distinguish highly similar parts with high accuracy. First, multi-level downsampling and rotation searching are adopted to construct an image pyramid. Then, non-maximum suppression is utilised to determine the optimal rotation for each layer. In the matching, by re-evaluating the contribution of the difference between the corresponding pixels, the matching weight is determined according to the correlation between the grey value information of the matching pixels, and then the effective matching coefficient is determined. Finally, the proposed effective matching coefficient is adopted to obtain the final matching result. The results illustrate that this algorithm exhibits a strong discriminative ability for highly similar parts, with an accuracy of 97.1%, which is 11.5% higher than that of the traditional methods. The application of mulching film has significantly contributed to improving agricultural output and benefits, but residual film has caused severe impacts on agricultural production and the environment. In order to realize the accurate recycling of agricultural residual film, the detection of residual film is the first problem to be solved. The difference in color and texture between residual film and bare soil is not obvious, and residual film is of various sizes and morphologies. To solve these problems, the paper proposes a method for detecting residual film in agricultural fields that uses the attention mechanism. First, a two-stage pre-training approach with strengthened memory is proposed to enable the model to better understand the residual film features with limited data. Second, a multi-scale feature fusion module with adaptive weights is proposed to enhance the recognition of small targets of residual film by using attention. Finally, an inter-feature cross-attention mechanism that can realize full interaction between shallow and deep feature information to reduce the useless noise extracted from residual film images is designed. The experimental results on a self-made residual film dataset show that the improved model improves precision, recall, and mAP by 5.39%, 2.02%, and 3.95%, respectively, compared with the original model, and it also outperforms other recent detection models. The method provides strong technical support for accurately identifying farmland residual film and has the potential to be applied to mechanical equipment for the recycling of residual film. Smart security based on object detection is one of the important applications of edge computing in IoT. Anchors in object detection refer to points on the feature map, which can be used to generate anchor boxes and serve as training samples. Current object detection models do not consider the aspect ratio of the ground-truth boxes in anchor assignment and are not well-adapted to objects with very different shapes. Therefore, this paper proposes the Lightweight Anchor Dynamic Assignment algorithm (LADA) for object detection. LADA does not change the structure of the original detection model; first, it selects an equal proportional center region based on the aspect ratio of the ground-truth box, then calculates the combined loss of anchors, and finally divides the positive and negative samples more efficiently by dynamic loss threshold without additional models. The algorithm solves the problems of poor adaptability and difficulty in the selection of the best positive samples based on IoU assignment, and the sample assignment for eccentric objects and objects with different aspect ratios was more reasonable. Compared with existing sample assignment algorithms, the LADA algorithm outperforms the MS COCO dataset by 1.66% over the AP of the baseline FCOS, and 0.76% and 0.24% over the AP of the ATSS algorithm and the PAA algorithm, respectively, with the same model structure, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the LADA algorithm. Most deep-learning-based object detection algorithms exhibit low speeds and accuracy in gear surface defect detection due to their high computational costs and complex structures. To solve this problem, a lightweight model for gear surface defect detection, namely STMS-YOLOv5, is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the ShuffleNetv2 module is employed as the backbone to reduce the giga floating-point operations per second and the number of parameters. Secondly, transposed convolution upsampling is used to enhance the learning capability of the network. Thirdly, the max efficient channel attention mechanism is embedded in the neck to compensate for the accuracy loss caused by the lightweight backbone. Finally, the SIOU_Loss is adopted as the bounding box regression loss function in the prediction part to speed up the model convergence. Experiments show that STMS-YOLOv5 achieves frames per second of 130.4 and 133.5 on the gear and NEU-DET steel surface defect datasets, respectively. The number of parameters and GFLOPs are reduced by 44.4% and 50.31%, respectively, while the mAP@0.5 reaches 98.6% and 73.5%, respectively. Sugarcane stem node identification is the core technology required for the intelligence and mechanization of the sugarcane industry. However, detecting stem nodes quickly and accurately is still a significant challenge. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, a new algorithm combining YOLOv3 and traditional methods of computer vision is proposed, which can improve the identification rate during automated cutting. First, the input image is preprocessed, during which affine transformation is used to correct the posture of the sugarcane and a rotation matrix is established to obtain the region of interest of the sugarcane. Then, a dataset is built to train the YOLOv3 network model and the position of the stem nodes is initially determined using the YOLOv3 model. Finally, the position of the stem nodes is further located accurately. In this step, a new gradient operator is proposed to extract the edge of the image after YOLOv3 recognition. Then, a local threshold determination method is proposed, which is used to binarize the image after edge extraction. Finally, a localization algorithm for stem nodes is designed to accurately determine the number and location of the stem nodes. The experimental results show that the precision rate, recall rate, and harmonic mean of the stem node recognition algorithm in this paper are 99.68%, 100%, and 99.84%, respectively. Compared to the YOLOv3 network, the precision rate and the harmonic mean are improved by 2.28% and 1.13%, respectively. Chip pad inspection is of great practical importance for chip alignment inspection and correction. It is one of the key technologies for automated chip inspection in semiconductor manufacturing. When applying deep learning methods for chip pad inspection, the main problem to be solved is how to ensure the accuracy of small target pad detection and, at the same time, achieve a lightweight inspection model. The attention mechanism is widely used to improve the accuracy of small target detection by finding the attention region of the network. However, conventional attention mechanisms capture feature information locally, which makes it difficult to effectively improve the detection efficiency of small targets from complex backgrounds in target detection tasks. In this paper, an OCAM (Object Convolution Attention Module) attention module is proposed to build long-range dependencies between channel features and position features by constructing feature contextual relationships to enhance the correlation between features. By adding the OCAM attention module to the feature extraction layer of the YOLOv5 network, the detection performance of chip pads is effectively improved. In addition, a design guideline for the attention layer is proposed in the paper. The attention layer is adjusted by network scaling to avoid network characterization bottlenecks, balance network parameters, and network detection performance, and reduce the hardware device requirements for the improved YOLOv5 network in practical scenarios. With the increasingly widespread application of UAV intelligence, the need for autonomous navigation and positioning is becoming more and more important. To solve the problem that UAV cannot perform localization in complex scenes, a new multi-source fusion framework factor graph optimization algorithm is used for UAV localization state estimation in this paper, which is based on IMU/GNSS/VO multi-source sensors. Based on the factor graph model and the iSAM incremental inference algorithm, a multi-source fusion model of IMU/GNSS/VO is established, including the IMU pre-integration factor, IMU bias factor, GNSS factor, and VO factor. Mathematical simulations and validations on the EuRoC dataset show that, when the selected sliding window size is 30, the factor graph optimization (FGO) algorithm can not only meet the requirements of real time and accuracy at the same time, but it also achieves a plug-and-play function in the event of local sensor failures. Finally, compared with the traditional federated Kalman algorithm and the adaptive federated Kalman algorithm, the positioning accuracy of the FGO algorithm in this paper is improved by 1.5–2-fold, and can effectively improve autonomous navigation system robustness and flexibility in complex scenarios. It is an urgent problem to know how to quickly and accurately measure the length of irregular curves in complex background images. To solve the problem, we first proposed a quasi-bimodal threshold segmentation (QBTS) algorithm, which transforms the multimodal histogram into a quasi-bimodal histogram to achieve a faster and more accurate segmentation of the target curve. Then, we proposed a single-pixel skeleton length measurement (SPSLM) algorithm based on the 8-neighborhood model, which used the 8-neighborhood feature to measure the length for the first time, and achieved a more accurate measurement of the curve length. Finally, the two algorithms were tested and analyzed in terms of accuracy and speed on the two original datasets of this paper. Due to the development of wireless network technology, various applications relying on good network quality are widely used on mobile devices. Taking the commonly used video streaming service as an example, a network with high throughput and low packet loss rate can meet the service requirements. When the moving distance of the mobile device is greater than the signal coverage of the AP, it will trigger the handover process to connect to another AP, and cause the network to disconnect and reconnect instantaneously. However, frequently triggering the handover procedure will cause a significant drop in network performance and affect the operation of application services. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes the OHA and OHAQR. The OHA considers whether the signal quality is good or bad, and uses the corresponding HM method to solve the problem of frequent handover procedures. The OHAQR integrates the QoS requirements of the throughput and packet loss rate into the OHA with the Q-handover score, to provide high-performance handover services with QoS. Our experimental results show that the OHA and OHAQR have 13 and 15 handovers in a high-density scenario, respectively, and are better than the other two methods. The actual throughput and packet loss rate of the OHAQR are 123 Mbps and 5%, respectively, and the network performance is better than that of other methods. In the field of AGV, a path planning algorithm is always a heated area. However, traditional path planning algorithms have many disadvantages. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a fusion algorithm that combines the kinematical constraint A* algorithm and the following dynamic window approach algorithm. The kinematical constraint A* algorithm can plan the global path. Firstly, the node optimization can reduce the number of child nodes. Secondly, improving the heuristic function can increase efficiency of path planning. Thirdly, the secondary redundancy can reduce the number of redundant nodes. Finally, the B spline curve can make the global path conform to the dynamic characteristics of AGV. The following DWA algorithm can be dynamic path planning and allow the AGV to avoidance moving obstacle. The optimization heuristic function of the local path is closer to the global optimal path. The simulation results show that, compared with the fusion algorithm of traditional A* algorithm and traditional DWA algorithm, the fusion algorithm reduces the length of path by 3.6%, time of path by 6.7% and the number of turns of final path by 25%. In order to solve the problem of severely decreased performance under the situation of rapid moving sources and unstable array platforms, a null broadening robust adaptive beamforming algorithm based on power estimation is proposed in this paper. First of all, we estimate the interference signal power according to the characteristic subspace theory. Then, the correspondence between the signal power and steering vector (SV) is obtained based on the orthogonal property, and the interference covariance matrix (ICM) is reconstructed. Finally, with the aim of setting virtual interference sources, null broadening can be carried out. The proposed algorithm results in a deeper null, lower side lobes and higher tolerance of the desired signal steering vector mismatch under the condition of low complexity. At present, the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) has been widely used both in civilian and military fields. Most of the current object detection algorithms used to detect UAVs require more parameters, and it is difficult to achieve real-time performance. In order to solve this problem while ensuring a high accuracy rate, we further lighten the model and reduce the number of parameters of the model. This paper proposes an accurate and lightweight UAV detection model based on YOLOv4. To verify the effectiveness of this model, we made a UAV dataset, which contains four types of UAVs and 20,365 images. Through comparative experiments and optimization of existing deep learning and object detection algorithms, we found a lightweight model to achieve an efficient and accurate rapid detection of UAVs. First, from the comparison of the one-stage method and the two-stage method, it is concluded that the one-stage method has better real-time performance and considerable accuracy in detecting UAVs. Then, we further compared the one-stage methods. In particular, for YOLOv4, we replaced MobileNet with its backbone network, modified the feature extraction network, and replaced standard convolution with depth-wise separable convolution, which greatly reduced the parameters and realized 82 FPS and 93.52% mAP while ensuring high accuracy and taking into account the real-time performance. Aerial insulator defect images have some features. For instance, the complex background and small target of defects would make it difficult to detect insulator defects quickly and accurately. To solve the problem of low accuracy of insulator defect detection, this paper concerns the shortcomings of IoU and the sensitivity of small targets to the model regression accuracy. An improved SIoU loss function was proposed based on the regular influence of regression direction on the accuracy. This loss function can accelerate the convergence of the model and make it achieve better results in regressions. For complex backgrounds, ECA (Efficient Channel Attention Module) is embedded between the backbone and the feature fusion layer of the model to reduce the influence of redundant features on the detection accuracy and make progress in the aspect. As a result, these experiments show that the improved model achieved 97.18% mAP which is 2.74% higher than before, and the detection speed could reach 71 fps. Hyperspectral imaging can simultaneously acquire spectral and spatial information of the samples and is, therefore, widely applied in the non-destructive detection of grain quality. Supervised learning is the mainstream method of hyperspectral imaging for pixel-level detection of mildew in corn kernels, which requires a large number of training samples to establish the prediction or classification models. This paper presents an unsupervised redundant co-clustering algorithm (FCM-SC) based on multi-center fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering and spectral clustering (SC), which can effectively detect non-uniformly distributed mildew in corn kernels. This algorithm first carries out fuzzy c-means clustering of sample features, extracts redundant cluster centers, merges the cluster centers by spectral clustering, and finally finds the category of corresponding cluster centers for each sample. It effectively solves the problems of the poor ability of the traditional fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm to classify the data with complex structure distribution and the complex calculation of the traditional spectral clustering algorithm. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed algorithm could describe the complex structure of mildew distribution in corn kernels and exhibits higher stability, better anti-interference ability, generalization ability, and accuracy than the supervised classification model. A crucial step in improving data quality is to discover semantic relationships between data. Functional dependencies are rules that describe semantic relationships between data in relational databases and have been applied to improve data quality recently. However, traditional functional discovery algorithms applied to distributed data may lead to errors and the inability to scale to large-scale data. To solve the above problems, we propose a novel distributed functional dependency discovery algorithm based on Apache Spark, which can effectively discover functional dependencies in large-scale data. The basic idea is to use data redistribution to discover functional dependencies in parallel on multiple nodes. In this algorithm, we take a sampling approach to quickly remove invalid functional dependencies and propose a greedy-based task assignment strategy to balance the load. In addition, the prefix tree is used to store intermediate computation results during the validation process to avoid repeated computation of equivalence classes. Planetary soft landing has been studied extensively due to its promising application prospects. In this paper, a soft landing control algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) with good convergence property is proposed. First, the soft landing problem of the powered descent phase is formulated and the theoretical basis of Reinforcement Learning (RL) used in this paper is introduced. Second, to make it easier to converge, a reward function is designed to include process rewards like velocity tracking reward, solving the problem of sparse reward. Then, by including the fuel consumption penalty and constraints violation penalty, the lander can learn to achieve velocity tracking goal while saving fuel and keeping attitude angle within safe ranges. Then, simulations of training are carried out under the frameworks of Deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG), Twin Delayed DDPG (TD3), and Soft Actor Critic (SAC), respectively, which are of the classical RL frameworks, and all converged. To solve the problem that the ship's strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) alignment accuracy decreases with the increase of the nonlinear filtering state dimension under mooring conditions, a method based on Kalman filter (KF) and Adaptive scale mini-skewness single line sampling Unscented Kalman Filter (ASMUKF) hybrid filtering algorithm is proposed in this paper. Three improvements are made as the following: (1) adopt a new sampling strategy. To obtain the ASMUKF filtering algorithm, scale mini-skewness single line sampling is used to replaced the traditional symmetrical sampling method and an adaptive scale factor is adapted into the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) to correct the real-time transformation sampling process; (2) the improved ASMUKF algorithm is combined with KF to form KF-ASMUKF hybrid filtering model; (3) the hybrid filtering model is divided into linear and nonlinear parts. The linear filtering part adopts the KF filtering model and the nonlinear filtering part adopts the ASMUKF model. Then, the calculation steps of the hybrid filtering algorithm is designed in this paper. The simulation and experimental results show that the hybrid filtering algorithm proposed has certain advantages over the traditional algorithm, and it can reduce the ship's SINS calculation amount and improve alignment accuracy under mooring conditions. Initial alignment of the strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) is intended to determine the initial attitude matrix in a short time with certain accuracy. The alignment accuracy of the quaternion filter algorithm is remarkable, but the convergence rate is slow. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved quaternion filter algorithm for faster initial alignment based on the error model of the quaternion filter algorithm. The improved quaternion filter algorithm constructs the K matrix based on the principle of optimal quaternion algorithm, and rebuilds the measurement model by containing acceleration and velocity errors to make the convergence rate faster. A doppler velocity log (DVL) provides the reference velocity for the improved quaternion filter alignment algorithm. In order to demonstrate the performance of the improved quaternion filter algorithm in the field, a turntable experiment and a vehicle test are carried out. The results of the experiments show that the convergence rate of the proposed improved quaternion filter is faster than that of the tradition quaternion filter algorithm. The vehicular participatory sensing network (VPSN) is now becoming more and more prevalent, and additionally has shown its great potential in various applications. A general VPSN consists of many tasks from task, publishers, trading platforms and a crowd of participants. Some literature treats publishers and the trading platform as a whole, which is impractical since they are two independent economic entities with respective purposes. For a trading platform in markets, its purpose is to maximize the profit by selecting tasks and recruiting participants who satisfy the requirements of accepted tasks, rather than to improve the quality of each task. This scheduling problem for a trading platform consists of two parts: which tasks should be selected and which participants to be recruited? In this paper, we investigate the scheduling problem in vehicular participatory sensing with the predictable mobility of each vehicle. A genetic-based trading scheduling algorithm (GTSA) is proposed to solve the scheduling problem. Center-location of a laser spot is a problem of interest when the laser is used for processing and performing measurements. Measurement quality depends on correctly determining the location of the laser spot. Hence, improving and proposing algorithms for the correct location of the spots are fundamental issues in laser-based measurements. In this paper we introduce a Reaction Diffusion (RD) system as the main computational framework for robustly finding laser spot centers. The method presented is compared with a conventional approach for locating laser spots, and the experimental results indicate that RD-based computation generates reliable and precise solutions. Depth estimation of a single image presents a classic problem for computer vision, and is important for the 3D reconstruction of scenes, augmented reality, and object detection. At present, most researchers are beginning to focus on unsupervised monocular depth estimation. This paper proposes solutions to the current depth estimation problem. These solutions include a monocular depth estimation method based on uncertainty analysis, which solves the problem in which a neural network has strong expressive ability but cannot evaluate the reliability of an output result. In addition, this paper proposes a photometric loss function based on the Retinex algorithm, which solves the problem of pulling around pixels due to the presence of moving objects. This paper improves the accuracy of a mine robot's positioning and mapping for rapid rescue. Specifically, we improved the FastSLAM algorithm inspired by the lion swarm optimization method. Through the division of labor between different individuals in the lion swarm optimization algorithm, the optimized particle set distribution after importance sampling in the FastSLAM algorithm is realized. The particles are distributed in a high likelihood area, thereby solving the problem of particle weight degradation. Meanwhile, the diversity of particles is increased since the foraging methods between individuals in the lion swarm algorithm are different so that improving the accuracy of the robot's positioning and mapping. The RapidIO standard is a packet-switching interconnection technology similar to the Internet Protocol (IP) conceptually. It realizes the high-speed transmission of RapidIO packets at the transport layer, but this greatly increases the probability of network blocking. Therefore, it is of great significance to optimize the RapidIO routing strategy. For this problem, this paper proposes a Double-Antibody Group Multi-Objective Artificial Immune Algorithm (DAG-MOAIA), which improves the local search and global search ability of the population by adaptive crossover and adaptive mutation of the double-antibody groups, and uses co-competition of multi-antibody groups to increase the diversity of population. Through DAG-MOAIA, an optimal transmission path from the source node to multiple destination nodes can be selected to solve the Quality Of Service (QoS) problem during data transmission and ensure the QoS of the RapidIO network. Simulation results show that DAG-MOAIA could obtain high-quality solutions to select better routing transmission paths, and exhibit better comprehensive performance in all simulated test networks, which plays a certain role in solving the problem of the RapidIO routing strategy. The vibration based signal processing technique is one of the principal tools for diagnosing faults of rotating machinery. Empirical mode decomposition (EMD), as a time-frequency analysis technique, has been widely used to process vibration signals of rotating machinery. But it has the shortcoming of mode mixing in decomposing signals. To overcome this shortcoming, ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) was proposed accordingly. EEMD is able to reduce the mode mixing to some extent. The performance of EEMD, however, depends on the parameters adopted in the EEMD algorithms. In most of the studies on EEMD, the parameters were selected artificially and subjectively. To solve the problem, a new adaptive ensemble empirical mode decomposition method is proposed in this paper. In the method, the sifting number is adaptively selected, and the amplitude of the added noise changes with the signal frequency components during the decomposition process. The simulation, the experimental and the application results demonstrate that the adaptive EEMD provides the improved results compared with the original EEMD in diagnosing rotating machinery. In recent decades, the Timed Elastic Band (TEB) algorithm is widely used for the AGV local path panning because of its convenient and efficiency. However, it may make a local detour when encountering a curve turn and cause excessive energy consumption. To solve this problem, this paper proposed an improved TEB algorithm to make the AGV walk along the wall when turning, which shortens the planning time and saves energy. Experiments were implemented in the Rviz visualization tool platform of the robot operating system (ROS). Simulated experiment results reflect that an amount of 5% reduction in the planning time has been achieved and the velocity curve implies that the operation was relatively smooth. Practical experiment results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method that the robots can avoid obstacles smoothly in the unknown static and dynamic obstacle environment. One of the biggest challenge in the field of deep learning is the parameter selection and optimization process. In recent years different algorithms have been proposed including bio-inspired solutions to solve this problem, however, there are many challenges including local minima, saddle points, and vanishing gradients. In this paper, we introduce the Whale Optimisation Algorithm (WOA) based on the swarm foraging behavior of humpback whales to optimise neural network hyperparameters. We wish to stress that to the best of our knowledge this is the first attempt that uses Whale Optimisation Algorithm for the optimisation task of hyperparameters. After a detailed description of the WOA algorithm we formulate and explain the application in deep learning, present the implementation, and compare the proposed algorithm with other well-known algorithms including widely used Grid and Random Search methods. Additionally, we have implemented a third dimension feature analysis to the original WOA algorithm to utilize 3D search space (3D-WOA). Simulations show that the proposed algorithm can be successfully used for hyperparameters optimization, achieving accuracy of 89.85% and 80.60% for Fashion MNIST and Reuters datasets, respectively. Swarm intelligence is a discipline which makes use of a number of agents for solving optimization problems by producing low cost, fast and robust solutions. The dragonfly algorithm (DA), a recently proposed swarm intelligence algorithm, is inspired by the dynamic and static swarming behaviors of dragonflies, and it has been found to have a higher performance in comparison to other swarm intelligence and evolutionary algorithms in numerous applications. There are only a few surveys about the dragonfly algorithm, and we have found that they are limited in certain aspects. Hence, in this paper, we present a more comprehensive survey about DA, its applications in various domains, and its performance as compared to other swarm intelligence algorithms. We also analyze the hybrids of DA, the methods they employ to enhance the original DA, their performance as compared to the original DA, and their limitations. Population based search techniques have been developed and applied to wide applications for their good performance, such as the optimization of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) path planning problems. However, the search for optimal solutions for an optimization problem is usually expensive. For example, the UAV problem is a large-scale optimization problem with many constraints, which makes it hard to get exact solutions. Especially, it will be time-consuming when multiple UAV problems are waiting to be optimized at the same time. Evolutionary multi-task optimization (EMTO) studies the problem of utilizing the population-based characteristics of evolutionary computation techniques to optimize multiple optimization problems simultaneously, for the purpose of further improving the overall performance of resolving all these problems. EMTO has great potential in solving real-world problems more efficiently. Therefore, in this paper, we develop a novel EMTO algorithm using a classical PSO algorithm, in which the developed knowledge transfer strategy achieves knowledge transfer between task by synthesizing the transferred knowledges from a selected set of component tasks during the updating of the velocities of population. Two knowledge transfer strategies are developed along with two versions of the proposed algorithm. In terms of small objects in traffic scenes, general object detection algorithms have low detection accuracy, high model complexity, and slow detection speed. To solve the above problems, an improved algorithm (named YOLO-MXANet) is proposed in this paper. Complete-Intersection over Union (CIoU) is utilized to improve loss function for promoting the positioning accuracy of the small object. In order to reduce the complexity of the model, we present a lightweight yet powerful backbone network (named SA-MobileNeXt) that incorporates channel and spatial attention. Our approach can extract expressive features more effectively by applying the Shuffle Channel and Spatial Attention (SCSA) module into the SandGlass Block (SGBlock) module while increasing the parameters by a small number. In addition, the data enhancement method combining Mosaic and Mixup is employed to improve the robustness of the training model. The Multi-scale Feature Enhancement Fusion (MFEF) network is proposed to fuse the extracted features better. In addition, the SiLU activation function is utilized to optimize the Convolution-Batchnorm-Leaky ReLU (CBL) module and the SGBlock module to accelerate the convergence of the model. The ablation experiments on the KITTI dataset show that each improved method is effective. The improved algorithm reduces the complexity and detection speed of the model while improving the object detection accuracy. In order to solve the problems of long path planning time and large number of redundant points in the rapidly-exploring random trees algorithm, this paper proposed an improved algorithm based on the parent point priority determination strategy and the real-time optimization strategy to optimize the rapidly-exploring random trees algorithm. First, in order to shorten the path-planning time, the parent point is determined before generating a new point, which eliminates the complicated process of traversing the random tree to search the parent point when generating a new point. Second, a real-time optimization strategy is combined, whose core idea is to compare the distance of a new point, its parent point, and two ancestor points to the target point when a new point is generated, choosing the new point that is helpful for the growth of the random tree to reduce the number of redundant points. Simulation results of 3-dimensional path planning showed that the success rate of the proposed algorithm, which combines the strategy of parent point priority determination and the strategy of real-time optimization, was close to 100%. Compared with the rapidly-exploring random trees algorithm, the number of points was reduced by more than 93.25%, the path planning time was reduced by more than 91.49%, and the path length was reduced by more than 7.88%. The IRB1410 manipulator was used to build a test platform in a laboratory environment. The path obtained by the proposed algorithm enables the manipulator to safely avoid obstacles to reach the target point. 6G vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication will be combined with vehicle automatic driving technology and play an important role in automatic driving. However, in 6G V2X systems, vehicle users have the characteristics of high-speed movement. Therefore, how to provide stable and reliable wireless link quality and improve channel gain has become a problem that must be solved. To solve this problem, a new multi-user scheduling algorithm based on block diagonalization (BD) precoding for 6G ultra-massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems is proposed in this paper. The algorithm takes advantage of the sensitive nature of BD precoding to channel correlation, uses the Pearson coefficient after matrix vectorization to measure the channel correlation between users, defines the scheduling factor to measure the channel quality according to the user noise enhancement factor, and jointly considers the influence of the correlation between user channels and channel quality, ensuring the selection of high-quality channels while minimizing channel correlation. Simulation results show that compared with the multi-user scheduling algorithm based on subspace correlation, condition number, and geometric angle, the proposed algorithm can obtain higher user channel gain, effectively reduce the system bit error rate, and can be applied to 6G V2X communication. The novel sensing technology airborne passive bistatic radar (PBR) has the problem of being affecting by multipath components in the reference signal. Due to the movement of the receiving platform, different multipath components contain different Doppler frequencies. When the contaminated reference signal is used for space–time adaptive processing (STAP), the power spectrum of the spatial–temporal clutter is broadened. This can cause a series of problems, such as affecting the performance of clutter estimation and suppression, increasing the blind area of target detection, and causing the phenomenon of target self-cancellation. To solve this problem, the authors of this paper propose a novel algorithm based on sparse Bayesian learning (SBL) for direct clutter estimation and multipath clutter suppression. The specific process is as follows. Firstly, the space–time clutter is expressed in the form of covariance matrix vectors. Secondly, the multipath cost is decorrelated in the covariance matrix vectors. Thirdly, the modeling error is reduced by alternating iteration, resulting in a space–time clutter covariance matrix without multipath components. Falling represents one of the most serious health risks for elderly people; it may cause irreversible injuries if the individual cannot obtain timely treatment after the fall happens. Therefore, timely and accurate fall detection algorithm research is extremely important. Recently, a number of researchers have focused on fall detection and made many achievements, and most of the relevant algorithm studies are based on ideal class-balanced datasets. However, in real-life applications, the possibilities of Activities of Daily Life (ADL) and fall events are different, so the data collected by wearable sensors suffers from class imbalance. The previously developed algorithms perform poorly on class-imbalanced data. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an algorithm that can effectively distinguish falls from a large amount of ADL signals. Compared with the state-of-the-art fall detection algorithms, the proposed method can achieve the highest score in multiple evaluation methods, with a sensitivity of 99.33%, a specificity of 91.86%, an F-Score of 98.44% and an AUC of 98.35%. This paper considers the problem of robust bearing-only source localization in impulsive noise with symmetric α -stable distribution based on the Lp-norm minimization criterion. The existing Iteratively Reweighted Pseudolinear Least-Squares (IRPLS) method can be used to solve the least LP-norm optimization problem. However, the IRPLS algorithm cannot reduce the bias attributed to the correlation between system matrices and noise vectors. To reduce this kind of bias, a Total Lp-norm Optimization (TLPO) method is proposed by minimizing the errors in all elements of system matrix and data vector based on the minimum dispersion criterion. Subsequently, an equivalent form of TLPO is obtained, and two algorithms are developed to solve the TLPO problem by using Iterative Generalized Eigenvalue Decomposition (IGED) and Generalized Lagrange Multiplier (GLM), respectively. Mobile autonomous systems are very important for marine scientific investigation and military applications. Many algorithms have been studied to deal with the computational efficiency problem required for large scale Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and its related accuracy and consistency. Among these methods, submap-based SLAM is a more effective one. By combining the strength of two popular mapping algorithms, the Rao-Blackwellised particle filter (RBPF) and extended information filter (EIF), this paper presents a Combined SLAM--an efficient submap-based solution to the SLAM problem in a large scale environment. RBPF-SLAM is used to produce local maps, which are periodically fused into an EIF-SLAM algorithm. RBPF-SLAM can avoid linearization of the robot model during operating and provide a robust data association, while EIF-SLAM can improve the whole computational speed, and avoid the tendency of RBPF-SLAM to be over-confident. In order to further improve the computational speed in a real time environment, a binary-tree-based decision-making strategy is introduced. Simulation experiments show that the proposed Combined SLAM algorithm significantly outperforms currently existing algorithms in terms of accuracy and consistency, as well as the computing efficiency. This paper presents a hydrogel-based flexible sensor array to detect plantar pressure distribution and recognize the gait patterns to assist those who suffer from gait disorders to rehabilitate better. The traditional pressure detection array is composed of rigid metal sensors, which have poor biocompatibility and expensive manufacturing costs. To solve the above problems, we have designed and fabricated a novel flexible sensor array based on AAM/NaCl (Acrylamide/Sodium chloride) hydrogel and PI (Polyimide) membrane. The proposed array exhibits excellent structural flexibility (209 KPa) and high sensitivity (12.3 mV·N−1), which allows it to be in full contact with the sole of the foot to collect pressure signals accurately. The Wavelet Transform-Random Forest (WT-RF) algorithm is introduced to recognize the gaits based on the plantar pressure signals. Wavelet transform realizes the signal filtering and normalization, and random forest is responsible for the classification of the processed signals. The cascading launch and cooperative work of lander and rover are the pivotal methods to achieve lunar zero-distance exploration. The separated design results in a heavy system mass that requires more launching costs and a limited exploration area that is restricted to the vicinity of the immovable lander. To solve this problem, we have designed a six-legged movable repetitive lander, called "HexaMRL", which congenitally integrates the function of both the lander and rover. However, achieving a buffered landing after a failure of the integrated drive units (IDUs) in the harsh lunar environment is a great challenge. In this paper, we systematically analyze the fault-tolerant capacity of all possible landing configurations in which the number of remaining normal legs is more than two and design the landing algorithm to finish a fault-tolerant soft-landing for the stable configuration. A quasi-incentre stability optimization method is further proposed to increase the stability margin during supporting operations after landing. To verify the fault-tolerant landing performance on the moon, a series of experiments, including five-legged, four-legged and three-legged soft-landings with a vertical landing velocity of −1.9 m/s and a payload of 140 kg, are successfully carried out on a 5-DoF lunar gravity ground-testing platform. Guiding an aircraft to 4D waypoints at a certain heading is a multi-dimensional goal aircraft guidance problem. In order to improve the performance and solve this problem, this paper proposes a multi-layer RL approach. The approach enables the autopilot in an ATC simulator to guide an aircraft to 4D waypoints at certain latitude, longitude, altitude, heading, and arrival time, respectively. To be specific, a multi-layer RL approach is proposed to simplify the neural network structure and reduce the state dimensions. A shaped reward function that involves the potential function and Dubins path method is applied. Experimental and simulation results show that the proposed approach can significantly improve the convergence efficiency and trajectory performance. Furthermore, the results indicate possible application prospects in team aircraft guidance tasks, since the aircraft can directly approach a goal without waiting in a specific pattern, thereby overcoming the problem of current ATC simulators. A recommendation system is often used to recommend items that may be of interest to users. One of the main challenges is that the scarcity of actual interaction data between users and items restricts the performance of recommendation systems. To solve this problem, multi-modal technologies have been used for expanding available information. However, the existing multi-modal recommendation algorithms all extract the feature of single modality and simply splice the features of different modalities to predict the recommendation results. This fusion method can not completely mine the relevance of multi-modal features and lose the relationship between different modalities, which affects the prediction results. In this paper, we propose a Cross-Modal-Based Fusion Recommendation Algorithm (CMBF) that can capture both the single-modal features and the cross-modal features. Our algorithm uses a novel cross-modal fusion method to fuse the multi-modal features completely and learn the cross information between different modalities. We evaluate our algorithm on two datasets, MovieLens and Amazon. Experiments show that our method has achieved the best performance compared to other recommendation algorithms. Distribution system state estimation (DSSE) plays a significant role for the system operation management and control. Due to the multiple uncertainties caused by the non-Gaussian measurement noise, inaccurate line parameters, stochastic power outputs of distributed generations (DG), and plug-in electric vehicles (EV) in distribution systems, the existing interval state estimation (ISE) approaches for DSSE provide fairly conservative estimation results. In this paper, a new ISE model is proposed for distribution systems where the multiple uncertainties mentioned above are well considered and accurately established. Moreover, a modified Krawczyk-operator (MKO) in conjunction with interval constraint-propagation (ICP) algorithm is proposed to solve the ISE problem and efficiently provides better estimation results with less conservativeness. Simulation results carried out on the IEEE 33-bus, 69-bus, and 123-bus distribution systems show that the our proposed algorithm can provide tighter upper and lower bounds of state estimation results than the existing approaches such as the ICP, Krawczyk-Moore ICP(KM-ICP), Hansen, and MKO. Identifying the key genes related to tumors from gene expression data with a large number of features is important for the accurate classification of tumors and to make special treatment decisions. In recent years, unsupervised feature selection algorithms have attracted considerable attention in the field of gene selection as they can find the most discriminating subsets of genes, namely the potential information in biological data. Recent research also shows that maintaining the important structure of data is necessary for gene selection. However, most current feature selection methods merely capture the local structure of the original data while ignoring the importance of the global structure of the original data. We believe that the global structure and local structure of the original data are equally important, and so the selected genes should maintain the essential structure of the original data as far as possible. In this paper, we propose a new, adaptive, unsupervised feature selection scheme which not only reconstructs high-dimensional data into a low-dimensional space with the constraint of feature distance invariance but also employs ℓ 2 , 1 -norm to enable a matrix with the ability to perform gene selection embedding into the local manifold structure-learning framework. Moreover, an effective algorithm is developed to solve the optimization problem based on the proposed scheme. To solve the problems of low accuracy, low real-time performance, poor robustness and others caused by the complex environment, this paper proposes a face mask recognition and standard wear detection algorithm based on the improved YOLO-v4. Firstly, an improved CSPDarkNet53 is introduced into the trunk feature extraction network, which reduces the computing cost of the network and improves the learning ability of the model. Secondly, the adaptive image scaling algorithm can reduce computation and redundancy effectively. Thirdly, the improved PANet structure is introduced so that the network has more semantic information in the feature layer. At last, a face mask detection data set is made according to the standard wearing of masks. Based on the object detection algorithm of deep learning, a variety of evaluation indexes are compared to evaluate the effectiveness of the model. The results of the comparations show that the mAP of face mask recognition can reach 98.3% and the frame rate is high at 54.57 FPS, which are more accurate compared with the exiting algorithm. A sensor registry system (SRS) registers sensor metadata and provides them for a seamless semantic process. Recently, network coverage information-based SRS (NC-SRS) was developed to provide sensor information filtering by combining path prediction and network coverage checks. However, the NC-SRS has problems caused by issues such as termination of OpenSignal service and pre-building road segments. Therefore, this paper proposes a sensor registry system-based predictive information service (SRS-PIS) using a grid. SRS-PIS predicts a path based on the grid, checks the network coverage, and filters the sensor. This paper presents a grid-based real-time path prediction algorithm and an algorithm for grouping network service-disabled areas. To obtain network coverage information, we constructed and implemented a grid-based coverage map through experiment to measure the signal strength. Recent years have seen the wide application of Location-Based Services (LBSs) in our daily life. Although users can enjoy many conveniences from the LBSs, they may lose their trajectory privacy when their location data are collected. Therefore, it is urgent to protect the user's trajectory privacy while providing high quality services. Trajectory k-anonymity is one of the most important technologies to protect the user's trajectory privacy. However, the user's attributes are rarely considered when constructing the k-anonymity set. It results in that the user's trajectories are especially vulnerable. To solve the problem, in this paper, a Spatiotemporal Mobility (SM) measurement is defined for calculating the relationship between the user's attributes and the anonymity set. Furthermore, a trajectory graph is designed to model the relationship between trajectories. Based on the user's attributes and the trajectory graph, the SM based trajectory privacy-preserving algorithm (MTPPA) is proposed. The optimal k-anonymity set is obtained by the simulated annealing algorithm. The experimental results show that the privacy disclosure probability of the anonymity set obtained by MTPPA is about 40% lower than those obtained by the existing algorithms while the same quality of services can be provided.
