The aim of this paper is to review the book, "İslam Düşünce Geleneğinde Tanrı Anlayışları I Eş'arîler", which translates as "Understandings of God in Islamic Thought I Ash'arites". Believing in God is of course the uttermost important principle of Islam. However, inarguably, there are different understandings of God in kalām thought. Hence, the book deals with these different understandings of God in the thought of Ash'arism in detail. At the same time, it conveys these arguments put forward by Ash'arite scholars in chronological order. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
