The paper is concerned with such issues of components and final quality of mechatronical products that are related to quality proportionality of mechanical components, their inter-changeability and processes capability in co-operating organisations. The management of quality proportionality and inter-changeability of components, as well as the capability of production processes is viewed as the critical factor, inevitable for quality managers in cooperating organisations in fulfilling their assignment. The paper has a character of theoretical generalization of practical knowledge to be further employed in practice, research and education. The paper is written as a part of work on the research project KEGA 3/6411/08 Transformation of an existing study programme Production Quality Management into a university- vide bilingual study program. The device for eccentric cutting of threads enables the production of thread with high cutting speed, a good quality of cutting and reduced time of cutting. So, this eccentric cutting is an example of high-productive cutting of threads. This paper shows the basic kinematics equations of cutting process in external thread.
