The growth in academic and scientific publications has increased very rapidly. Researchers must choose a representative and significant literature for their research, which has become challenging worldwide. Usually, the paper citation number indicates this paper's potential influence and importance. However, this standard metric of citation numbers is not suitable to assess the popularity and significance of recently published papers. To address this challenge, this study presents an effective prediction method called FutureCite to predict the future citation level of research articles. FutureCite integrates machine learning with text and graph mining techniques, leveraging their abilities in classification, datasets in-depth analysis, and feature extraction. FutureCite aims to predict future citation levels of research articles applying a multilabel classification approach. FutureCite can extract significant semantic features and capture the interconnection relationships found in scientific articles during feature extraction using textual content, citation networks, and metadata as feature resources. This study's objective is to contribute to the advancement of effective approaches impacting the citation counts in scientific publications by enhancing the precision of future citations. We conducted several experiments using a comprehensive publication dataset to evaluate our method and determine the impact of using a variety of machine learning algorithms. FutureCite demonstrated its robustness and efficiency and showed promising results based on different evaluation metrics. Transformers play a crucial role in power systems. In this respect, fault diagnosis and aging state assessment have garnered significant attention from researchers. Herein, accelerated thermal aging and Raman scattering experiments are conducted on oil–paper insulation samples to accurately detect aging states. The samples are categorized into different aging stages based on the polymerization degree of the insulating paper. Principal component analysis (PCA), multi-dimensional scale change method (MDS), and isometric mapping algorithm (Isomap) are employed to extract features from the Raman spectra. Subsequently, the XGBoost strong classifier, optimized through Bayesian hyperparameter optimization (BO-XGBoost), is utilized to distinguish between four and ten states among 175 groups of samples after feature extraction. The subsequent classification results of the three feature-extraction methods are compared. The results indicate that Isoamp, which pertains to the manifold dimension transformation, achieves the highest average discriminative accuracy after feature extraction. The discriminative accuracies for aging states four and ten are 97.0% and 95.1% respectively, demonstrating that Raman spectroscopy manifold dimension transformation enhances the distinctiveness between samples of different aging states in the feature-extraction process. To address the low level of intelligence and low utilization of logs in current rotary cutting equipment, this paper proposes a digital twin-based system for optimizing the rotary cutting of logs using a five-dimensional model of digital twins. The system features a log perception platform to capture three-dimensional point cloud data, outlining the logs' contours. Utilizing the Delaunay3D algorithm, this model performs a three-dimensional reconstruction of the log point cloud, constructing a precise digital twin. Feature information is extracted from the point cloud using the least squares method. Processing parameters, determined through the kinematic model, are verified in rotary cutting simulations via Bool operations. The system's efficacy has been substantiated through experimental validation, demonstrating its capability to output specific processing schemes for irregular logs and to verify these through simulation. This approach notably improves log recovery rates, decreasing volume error from 12.8% to 2.7% and recovery rate error from 23.5% to 5.7% The results validate the efficacy of the proposed digital twin system in optimizing the rotary cutting process, demonstrating its capability not only to enhance the utilization rate of log resources but also to improve the economic efficiency of the factory, thereby facilitating industrial development. Millimeter-wave radar-based identification technology has a wide range of applications in persistent identity verification, covering areas such as security production, healthcare, and personalized smart consumption systems. It has received extensive attention from the academic community due to its advantages of being non-invasive, environmentally insensitive and privacy-preserving. Existing identification algorithms mainly rely on a single signal, such as breathing or heartbeat. The reliability and accuracy of these algorithms are limited due to the high similarity of breathing patterns and the low signal-to-noise ratio of heartbeat signals. To address the above issues, this paper proposes an algorithm for multimodal fusion for identity recognition. This algorithm extracts and fuses features derived from phase signals, respiratory signals, and heartbeat signals for identity recognition purposes. The spatial features of signals with different modes are first extracted by the residual network (ResNet), after which these features are fused with a spatial-channel attention fusion module. On this basis, the temporal features are further extracted with a time series-based self-attention mechanism. Finally, the feature vectors of the user's vital sign modality are obtained to perform identity recognition. This method makes full use of the correlation and complementarity between different modal signals to improve the accuracy and reliability of identification. Simulation experiments show that the algorithm identity recognition proposed in this paper achieves an accuracy of 94.26% on a 20-subject self-test dataset, which is much higher than that of the traditional algorithm, which is about 85%. In this paper, we propose a novel method for monocular depth estimation using the hourglass neck module. The proposed method has the following originality. First, feature maps are extracted from Swin Transformer V2 using a masked image modeling (MIM) pretrained model. Since Swin Transformer V2 has a different patch size for each attention stage, it is easier to extract local and global features from images input by the vision transformer (ViT)-based encoder. Second, to maintain the polymorphism and local inductive bias of the feature map extracted from Swin Transformer V2, a feature map is input into the hourglass neck module. Third, deformable attention can be used at the waist of the hourglass neck module to reduce the computation cost and highlight the locality of the feature map. Finally, the feature map traverses the neck and proceeds through a decoder, comprised of a deconvolution layer and an upsampling layer, to generate a depth image. To evaluate the objective reliability of the proposed method in this paper, we used the NYU Depth V2 dataset to compare and evaluate the methods published in other papers. As a result of the experiment, the RMSE value of the novel method for monocular depth estimation using the hourglass neck module proposed in this paper was 0.274, which was lower than those published in other papers. Semantic segmentation of target objects in power transmission line corridor point cloud scenes is a crucial step in powerline tree barrier detection. The massive quantity, disordered distribution, and non-uniformity of point clouds in power transmission line corridor scenes pose significant challenges for feature extraction. Previous studies have often overlooked the core utilization of spatial information, limiting the network's ability to understand complex geometric shapes. To overcome this limitation, this paper focuses on enhancing the deep expression of spatial geometric information in segmentation networks and proposes a method called BDF-Net to improve RandLA-Net. For each input 3D point cloud data, BDF-Net first encodes the relative coordinates and relative distance information into spatial geometric feature representations through the Spatial Information Encoding block to capture the local spatial structure of the point cloud data. Subsequently, the Bilinear Pooling block effectively combines the feature information of the point cloud with the spatial geometric representation by leveraging its bilinear interaction capability thus learning more discriminative local feature descriptors. The Global Feature Extraction block captures the global structure information in the point cloud data by using the ratio between the point position and the relative position, so as to enhance the semantic understanding ability of the network. In order to verify the performance of BDF-Net, this paper constructs a dataset, PPCD, for the point cloud scenario of transmission line corridors and conducts detailed experiments on it. The experimental results show that BDF-Net achieves significant performance improvements in various evaluation metrics, specifically achieving an OA of 97.16%, a mIoU of 77.48%, and a mAcc of 87.6%, which are 3.03%, 16.23%, and 18.44% higher than RandLA-Net, respectively. The production quality of medical fluid bags is closely related to patient health. In this paper, we used medical fluid bags to detect whether they contained foreign bodies. A visual acquisition system for the fluid bag was built. Vignetting correction was performed on the acquired images, and a foreign body recognition detection method based on an improved Faster R-CNN model was proposed. The feature extraction network of Faster R-CNN was discussed and studied regarding the characteristics of small foreign objects in liquid bags, and the ResNet152 network replaced the VGG16 network; furthermore, the feature fusion and attention mechanism were added to the feature extraction, and CIoU replaced the IoU loss function; the anchor box parameters were optimized and improved using the K-means clustering algorithm, and ROI Align replaced the ROI Pooling module. The improved network in this paper was compared with the Faster R-CNN model, which is a modification of feature extraction networks, such as ResNet50, ResNet101, and ResNet152, and the original VGG16 feature extraction network. The results show that the ResNet152 network had the best feature extraction effect among the feature extraction networks, and other optimizations were performed in this paper based on the use of ResNet152. In the precision−recall curve, the network in this paper showed the best effect. The improved algorithm presented in this paper was significantly improved compared with the original algorithm, with a detection accuracy of 97% and an average accuracy improvement of 7.8% in foreign object recognition. Because of the difficulty in fault detection for and diagnosing the adjustment hydraulic servomotor, this paper uses feature extraction technology to extract the time domain and frequency domain features of the pressure signal of the adjustment hydraulic servomotor and splice the features of multiple pressure signals through the Multi-source Information Fusion (MSIF) method. The comprehensive expression of device status information is obtained. After that, this paper proposes a fault detection Algorithm GA-SVDD-neg, which uses Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize Support Vector Data Description with negative examples (SVDD-neg). Through joint optimization with the Mutual Information (MI) feature selection algorithm, the features that are most sensitive to the state deterioration of the adjustment hydraulic servomotor are selected. Experiments show that the MI algorithm has a better performance than other feature dimensionality reduction algorithms in the field of the abnormal detection of adjustment hydraulic servomotors, and the GA-SVDD-neg algorithm has a stronger robustness and generality than other anomaly detection algorithms. In addition, to make full use of the advantages of deep learning in automatic feature extraction and classification, this paper realizes the fault diagnosis of the adjustment hydraulic servomotor based on 1D Convolutional Neural Network (1DCNN). The experimental results show that this algorithm has the same superior performance as the traditional algorithm in feature extraction and can accurately diagnose the known faults of the adjustment hydraulic servomotor. The fire heat release rate (HRR) is a crucial parameter for describing the combustion process and its thermal effects. In recent years, some studies have employed fire scene images and deep learning algorithms to predict real-time fire HRR, which has led to the advancement of HRR prediction in terms of both lightweightness and real-time monitoring. Nevertheless, the development of an early-stage monitoring system for fires and the ability to predict future HRR based on current moment data represents a crucial foundation for evaluating the scale of indoor fires and enhancing the capacity to prevent and control such incidents. This paper proposes a deep learning model based on continuous fire scene images (containing both flame and smoke features) and their time-series information to predict the future transient fire HRR. The model (Att-BiLSTM) comprises three bi-directional long- and short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) layers and one attention layer. The model employs a bidirectional feature extraction approach, followed by the introduction of an attention mechanism to highlight the image features that have a critical impact on the prediction results. In this paper, a large-scale dataset is constructed by collecting 27,231 fire scene images with instantaneous HRR annotations from 40 different fire trials from the NIST database. The experimental results demonstrate that Att-BiLSTM is capable of effectively utilizing fire scene image features and temporal information to accurately predict future transient HRR, including those in high-brightness fire environments and complex fire source situations. Target detection algorithms can greatly improve the efficiency of tomato leaf disease detection and play an important technical role in intelligent tomato cultivation. However, there are some challenges in the detection process, such as the diversity of complex backgrounds and the loss of leaf symmetry due to leaf shadowing, and existing disease detection methods have some disadvantages in terms of deteriorating generalization ability and insufficient accuracy. Aiming at the above issues, a target detection model for tomato leaf disease based on deep learning with a global attention mechanism, TDGA, is proposed in this paper. The main idea of TDGA includes three aspects. Firstly, TDGA adds a global attention mechanism (GAM) after up-sampling and down-sampling, as well as in the SPPF module, to improve the feature extraction ability of the target object, effectively reducing the interference of invalid targets. Secondly, TDGA uses a switchable atrous convolution (SAConv) in the C3 module to improve the model's ability to detect. Thirdly, TDGA adopts the efficient IoU loss (EIoU) instead of complete IoU loss (CIoU) to solve the ambiguous definition of aspect ratio and sample imbalance. In addition, the influences of different environmental factors such as single leaf, multiple leaves, and shadows on the performance of tomato disease detection are extensively experimented with and analyzed in this paper, which also verified the robustness of TDGA. The experimental results show that the average accuracy of TDGA reaches 91.40%, which is 2.93% higher than that of the original YOLOv5 network, which is higher than YOLOv5, YOLOv7, YOLOHC, YOLOv8, SSD, Faster R-CNN, RetinaNet and other target detection networks, so that TDGA can be utilized for the detection of tomato leaf disease more efficiently and accurately, even in complex environments. In the dynamic visual cabinet, the occurrence of motion blur when consumers take out commodities will reduce the accuracy of commodity detection. Recently, although Transformer-based video deblurring networks have achieved results compared to Convolutional Neural Networks in some blurring scenarios, they are still challenging for the non-uniform blurring problem that occurs when consumers pick up the commodities, such as the problem of difficult alignment of blurred video frames of small commodities and the problem of underutilizing the effective information between the video frames of commodities. Therefore, an improved Transformer video deblurring network is proposed. Firstly, a multi-scale Transformer feature extraction method is utilized for non-uniform blurring. Secondly, for the problem of difficult alignment of small-item-blurred video frames, a temporal interactive attention mechanism is designed for video frame alignment. Finally, a feature recurrent fusion mechanism is introduced to supplement the effective information of commodity features. The experimental results show that the proposed method has practical significance in improving the accuracy of commodity detection. Vacuum is an important parameter in cutter suction dredging operations because the equipment is underwater and can easily fail. It is necessary to analyze other parameters related to the vacuum to make real-time predictions about it, which can improve the construction efficiency of the dredger under abnormal working conditions. In this paper, a data-driven method for predicting the vacuum of the underwater pump of the cutter suction dredger (CSD) is proposed with the help of big data, machine learning, data mining, and other technologies, and based on the historical data of "Hua An Long" CSD. The method eliminates anomalous data, standardizes the data set, and then relies on theory and engineering experience to achieve feature extraction using the Spearman correlation coefficient. Then, six machine learning methods were employed in this study to train and predict the data set, namely, lasso regression (lasso), elastic network (Enet), gradient boosting decision tree (including traditional GBDT, extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM)), and stacking. The comparison of the indicators obtained through multiple rounds of feature number iteration shows that the LightGBM model has high prediction accuracy, a good running time, and a generalization ability. Biomedical texts are relatively obscure in describing relations between specialized entities, and the automatic extraction of drug–drug or drug–disease relations from massive biomedical texts presents a challenge faced by many researchers. To this end, this paper designs a relation extraction method based on dependency information fusion to improve the predictive power of the model for the relations between given biomedical entities. Firstly, we propose a local–global pruning strategy for the dependency syntax tree. Next, we propose the construction of a dependency type matrix for the pruned dependency tree to incorporate sentence dependency information into the model to feature extraction. We then incorporate attention mechanism into the graph convolutional model by calculating the attention weights of word–word dependencies, thus improving the traditional graph convolutional network. The model distinguishes the importance of different dependency information by attention weights, thus weakening the influence of interfering information such as word-to-word dependencies that are unrelated to entities in long sentences. In this paper, our proposed Dependency Information Fusion Attention Graph Convolutional Network (DIF-A-GCN) is evaluated on two biomedical datasets, DDI and CIVIC. Timely discovery and disposal of road risk sources constitute the cornerstone of road operation safety. Presently, the detection of road risk sources frequently relies on manual inspections via inspection vehicles, a process that is both inefficient and time-consuming. To tackle this challenge, this paper introduces a novel automated approach for detecting road risk sources, termed the multi-scale lightweight network (MSLN). This method primarily focuses on identifying road surfaces, potholes, and scattered objects. To mitigate the influence of real-world factors such as noise and uneven brightness on test results, pavement images were carefully collected. Initially, the collected images underwent grayscale processing. Subsequently, the median filtering algorithm was employed to filter out noise interference. Furthermore, adaptive histogram equalization techniques were utilized to enhance the visibility of cracks and the road background. Following these preprocessing steps, the MSLN model was deployed for the detection of road risk sources. Addressing the challenges associated with two-stage network models, such as prolonged training and testing times, as well as deployment difficulties, this study adopted the lightweight feature extraction network MobileNetV2. Additionally, transfer learning was incorporated to elevate the model's training efficiency. Moreover, this paper established a mapping relationship model that transitions from the world coordinate system to the pixel coordinate system. This model enables the calculation of risk source dimensions based on detection outcomes. Experimental results reveal that the MSLN model exhibits a notably faster convergence rate. This enhanced convergence not only boosts training speed but also elevates the precision of risk source detection. Semantic segmentation is primarily employed to generate accurate prediction labels for each pixel of the input image, and then classify the images according to the generated labels. Semantic segmentation of building and water in remote sensing images helps us to conduct reasonable land planning for a city. However, many current mature networks face challenges in simultaneously attending to both contextual and spatial information when performing semantic segmentation on remote sensing imagery. This often leads to misclassifications and omissions. Therefore, this paper proposes a Dual-Branch Network with Spatial Supplementary Information (SPNet) to address the aforementioned issues. We introduce a Context-aware Spatial Feature-Extractor Unit (CSF) to extract contextual and spatial information, followed by the Feature-Interaction Module (FIM) to supplement contextual semantic information with spatial details. Additionally, incorporating the Goal-Oriented Attention Mechanism helps in handling noise. Finally, to obtain more detailed branches, a Multichannel Deep Feature-Extraction Module (MFM) is introduced to extract features from shallow-level network layers. This branch guides the fusion of low-level semantic information with high-level semantic information. Experiments were conducted on building and water datasets, respectively. The results indicate that the segmentation accuracy of the model proposed in this paper surpasses that of other existing mature models. On the building dataset, the mIoU reaches 87.57, while on the water dataset, the mIoU achieves 96.8, which means that the model introduced in this paper demonstrates strong generalization capabilities. Focusing on the problem of identifying and classifying aero-engine models, this paper measures the infrared spectrum data of aero-engine hot jets using a telemetry Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. Simultaneously, infrared spectral data sets with the six different types of aero-engines were created. For the purpose of classifying and identifying infrared spectral data, a CNN architecture based on the continuous wavelet transform peak-seeking attention mechanism (CWT-AM-CNN) is suggested. This method calculates the peak value of middle wave band by continuous wavelet transform, and the peak data are extracted by the statistics of the wave number locations with high frequency. The attention mechanism was used for the peak data, and the attention mechanism was weighted to the feature map of the feature extraction block. The training set, validation set and prediction set were divided in the ratio of 8:1:1 for the infrared spectral data sets. For three different data sets, the CWT-AM-CNN proposed in this paper was compared with the classical classifier algorithm based on CO2 feature vector and the popular AE, RNN and LSTM spectral processing networks. The prediction accuracy of the proposed algorithm in the three data sets was as high as 97%, and the lightweight network structure design not only guarantees high precision, but also has a fast running speed, which can realize the rapid and high-precision classification of the infrared spectral data of the aero-engine hot jets. In order to improve the reading efficiency of pointer meter, this paper proposes a reading method based on LinkNet. Firstly, the meter dial area is detected using YOLOv8. Subsequently, the detected images are fed into the improved LinkNet segmentation network. In this network, we replace traditional convolution with partial convolution, which reduces the number of model parameters while ensuring accuracy is not affected. Remove one pair of encoding and decoding modules to further compress the model size. In the feature fusion part of the model, the CBAM (Convolutional Block Attention Module) attention module is added and the direct summing operation is replaced by the AFF (Attention Feature Fusion) module, which enhances the feature extraction capability of the model for the segmented target. In the subsequent rotation correction section, this paper effectively addresses the issue of inaccurate prediction by CNN networks for axisymmetric images within the 0–360° range, by dividing the rotation angle prediction into classification and regression steps. It ensures that the final reading part receives the correct angle of image input, thereby improving the accuracy of the overall reading algorithm. Distracted driving is one of the major factors leading drivers to ignore potential road hazards. In response to the challenges of high computational complexity, limited generalization capacity, and suboptimal detection accuracy in existing deep learning-based detection algorithms, this paper introduces a novel approach called StarDL-YOLO (StarNet-detectlscd-yolo), which leverages an enhanced version of YOLOv8n. Initially, the StarNet integrated into the backbone of YOLOv8n significantly improves the feature extraction capability of the model with remarkable reduction in computational complexity. Subsequently, the Star Block is incorporated into the neck network, forming a C2f-Star module that offers lower computational cost. Additionally, shared convolution is introduced in the detection head to further reduce computational burden and parameter size. Finally, the Wise-Focaler-MPDIoU loss function is proposed to strengthen detection accuracy. The experimental results demonstrate that StarDL-YOLO significantly improves the efficiency of the distracted driving behavior detection, achieving an accuracy of 99.6% on the StateFarm dataset. Moreover, the parameter count of the model is minimized by 56.4%, and its computational load is decreased by 45.1%. Additionally, generalization experiments are performed on the 100-Driver dataset, revealing that the proposed scheme enhances generalization effectiveness compared to YOLOv8n. The maturity grading of walnuts during harvesting relies on experience. In this paper, walnut images in a natural environment were collected to construct a dataset, and deep learning algorithms were utilized to combine walnut internal physical and chemical indicators to carry out research on walnut maturity detection methods and further research on walnut oil content prediction by combining walnut images with walnut oil content indicators. The main contents of this paper include collecting walnut images in a natural environment, constructing datasets, and using deep learning algorithms combined with internal physical and chemical indexes of walnuts to study walnut maturity detection and oil content prediction methods. First, two walnut image acquisition schemes were designed, and a total of 9504 images were collected from 23 August to 21 September 2021. The dataset was expanded to 18,504 images through data preprocessing and image enhancement. A self-supervised Gaussian attention network (GATCluster) walnut ripeness detection method based on image clustering is proposed to develop ripeness criteria through unsupervised clustering, and the accuracy of the criteria is verified by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The maturity detection accuracy of the test set of 1500 images is 88.33%. Secondly, a walnut oil content prediction method based on improved ResNet34 is proposed. The feature extraction capability is improved by introducing the Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks (SENet) channel attention mechanism and the convolutional self-attention module. The prediction results on 50 images show that the root mean square error, average absolute percentage error, and regression coefficient are 2.96, 0.103, and 0.8822, respectively. Human action recognition based on optical and infrared video data is greatly affected by the environment, and feature extraction in traditional machine learning classification methods is complex; therefore, this paper proposes a method for human action recognition using Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar based on an asymmetric convolutional residual network. First, the radar echo data are analyzed and processed to extract the micro-Doppler time domain spectrograms of different actions. Second, a strategy combining asymmetric convolution and the Mish activation function is adopted in the residual block of the ResNet18 network to address the limitations of linear and nonlinear transformations in the residual block for micro-Doppler spectrum recognition. This approach aims to enhance the network's ability to learn features effectively. With the advancement in living standards, there has been a significant surge in the quantity and diversity of household waste. To safeguard the environment and optimize resource utilization, there is an urgent demand for effective and cost-efficient intelligent waste classification methodologies. This study presents MRS-YOLO (Multi-Resolution Strategy-YOLO), a waste detection and classification model. The paper introduces the SlideLoss_IOU technique for detecting small objects, integrates RepViT of the Transformer mechanism, and devises a novel feature extraction strategy by amalgamating multi-dimensional and dynamic convolution mechanisms. These enhancements not only elevate the detection accuracy and speed but also bolster the robustness of the current YOLO model. Validation conducted on a dataset comprising 12,072 samples across 10 categories, including recyclable metal and paper, reveals a 3.6% enhancement in mAP50% accuracy compared to YOLOv8, coupled with a 15.09% reduction in volume. With the continuous advancement of the economy and technology, the number of cars continues to increase, and the traffic congestion problem on some key roads is becoming increasingly serious. This paper proposes a new vehicle information feature map (VIFM) method and a multi-branch convolutional neural network (MBCNN) model and applies it to the problem of traffic congestion detection based on camera image data. The aim of this study is to build a deep learning model with traffic images as input and congestion detection results as output. It aims to provide a new method for automatic detection of traffic congestion. The deep learning-based method in this article can effectively utilize the existing massive camera network in the transportation system without requiring too much investment in hardware. This study first uses an object detection model to identify vehicles in images. Then, a method for extracting a VIFM is proposed. Finally, a traffic congestion detection model based on MBCNN is constructed. This paper verifies the application effect of this method in the Chinese City Traffic Image Database (CCTRIB). Compared to other convolutional neural networks, other deep learning models, and baseline models, the method proposed in this paper yields superior results. To overcome the deficiencies in segmenting hot spots from thermal infrared images, such as difficulty extracting the edge features, low accuracy, and a high missed detection rate, an improved Mask R-CNN photovoltaic hot spot thermal image segmentation algorithm has been proposed in this paper. Firstly, the edge image features of hot spots were extracted based on residual neural networks. Secondly, by combining the feature pyramid structure, an edge-guided feature pyramid structure was designed, and the hot spot edge features were injected into a Mask R-CNN network. Thirdly, an infrared spatial attention module was introduced into the Mask R-CNN network when feature extraction and the infrared features of the detected hot spots were enhanced. Fourthly, the size ratio of the candidate frames was adjusted self-adaptively according to the structural characteristics of the aspect ratio of the hot spots. Forest fires are major forestry disasters that cause loss of forest resources, forest ecosystem safety, and personal injury. It is often difficult for current forest fire detection models to achieve high detection accuracy on both large and small targets at the same time. In addition, most of the existing forest fire detection models are single detection models, and using only a single model for fire detection in a complex forest environment has a high misclassification rate, and the accuracy rate needs to be improved. Aiming at the above problems, this paper designs two forest fire detection models (named WSB and WSS) and proposes an integrated learning-based forest fire detection model (named WSB_WSS), which also obtains high accuracy in the detection of forest fires with large and small targets. In order to help the model predict the location and size of forest fire targets more accurately, a new edge loss function, Wise-Faster Intersection over Union (WFIoU), is designed in this paper, which effectively improves the performance of the forest fire detection algorithm. The WSB model introduces the Simple-Attention-Module (SimAM) attention mechanism to make the image feature extraction more accurate and introduces the bi-directional connectivity and cross-layer feature fusion to enhance the information mobility and feature expression ability of the feature pyramid network. The WSS model introduces the Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks (SE) attention mechanism so that the model can pay more attention to the most informative forest fire features and suppress unimportant features, and proposes Spatial Pyramid Pooling-Fast Cross Stage Partial Networks (SPPFCSPC) to enable the network to extract features better and speed up the operation of the model. The experimental findings demonstrate that the WSB model outperforms other approaches in the context of identifying forest fires characterized by small-scale targets, achieving a commendable accuracy rate of 82.4%, while the WSS model obtains a higher accuracy of 92.8% in the identification of large target forest fires. Therefore, in this paper, a more efficient forest fire detection model, WSB_WSS, is proposed by integrating the two models through the method of Weighted Boxes Fusion (WBF), and the accuracy of detecting forest fires characterized by small-scale targets attains 83.3%, while for forest fires with larger dimensions, the accuracy reaches an impressive 93.5%. High-quality agricultural multi-view stereo reconstruction technology is the key to precision and informatization in agriculture. Multi-view stereo reconstruction methods are an important part of 3D vision technology. In the multi-view stereo 3D reconstruction method based on deep learning, the effect of feature extraction directly affects the accuracy of reconstruction. Aiming at the actual problems in orchard fruit tree reconstruction, this paper designs an improved multi-view stereo structure based on the combination of remote sensing and artificial intelligence to realize the accurate reconstruction of jujube tree trunks. Firstly, an automatic key frame extraction method is proposed for the DSST target tracking algorithm to quickly recognize and extract high-quality data. Secondly, a composite U-Net feature extraction network is designed to enhance the reconstruction accuracy, while the DRE-Net feature extraction enhancement network improved by the parallel self-attention mechanism enhances the reconstruction completeness. To enhance the accuracy of theft detection for electricity consumers, this paper introduces a novel strategy based on the fusion of the dual-time feature and deep learning methods. Initially, considering electricity-consumption features at dual temporal scales, the paper employs temporal convolutional networks (TCN) with a long short-term memory (LSTM) multi-level feature extraction module (LSTM-TCN) and deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) to parallelly extract features at these scales. Subsequently, the extracted features are coupled and input into a fully connected (FC) layer for classification, enabling the precise detection of theft users. To validate the method's effectiveness, real electricity-consumption data from the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is used for testing. Perception of the indoor environment is the basis of mobile robot localization, navigation, and path planning, and it is particularly important to construct semantic maps in real time using minimal resources. The existing methods are too dependent on the graphics processing unit (GPU) for acquiring semantic information about the indoor environment, and cannot build the semantic map in real time on the central processing unit (CPU). To address the above problems, this paper proposes a non-use GPU for lightweight indoor semantic map construction algorithm, named NGLSFusion. In the VO method, ORB features are used for the initialization of the first frame, new keyframes are created by optical flow method, and feature points are extracted by direct method, which speeds up the tracking speed. In the semantic map construction method, a pretrained model of the lightweight network LinkNet is optimized to provide semantic information in real time on devices with limited computing power, and a semantic point cloud is fused using OctoMap and Voxblox. Since substations are key parts of power transmission, ensuring the safety of substations involves monitoring whether the substation equipment is in a normal state. Oil leakage detection is one of the necessary daily tasks of substation inspection robots, which can immediately find out whether there is oil leakage in the equipment in operation so as to ensure the service life of the equipment and maintain the safe and stable operation of the system. At present, there are still some challenges in oil leakage detection in substation equipment: there is a lack of a more accurate method of detecting oil leakage in small objects, and there is no combination of intelligent inspection robots to assist substation inspection workers in judging oil leakage accidents. To address these issues, this paper proposes a small object detection method for oil leakage defects in substations. This paper proposes a small object detection method for oil leakage defects in substations, which is based on the feature extraction network Resnet-101 of the Faster-RCNN model for improvement. In order to decrease the loss of information in the original image, especially for small objects, this method is developed by canceling the downsampling operation and replacing the large convolutional kernel with a small convolutional kernel. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an active microwave sensor that has attracted widespread attention due to its ability to observe the ground around the clock. Research on multi-scale and multi-category target detection methods holds great significance in the fields of maritime resource management and wartime reconnaissance. However, complex scenes often influence SAR object detection, and the diversity of target scales also brings challenges to research. This paper proposes a multi-category SAR image object detection model, CCDS-YOLO, based on YOLOv5s, to address these issues. Embedding the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) in the feature extraction part of the backbone network enables the model's ability to extract and fuse spatial information and channel information. The 1 × 1 convolution in the feature pyramid network and the first layer convolution of the detection head are replaced with the expanded convolution, Coordinate Conventional (CoordConv), forming a CRD-FPN module. This module more accurately perceives the spatial details of the feature map, enhancing the model's ability to handle regression tasks compared to traditional convolution. In the detector segment, a decoupled head is utilized for feature extraction, offering optimal and effective feature information for the classification and regression branches separately. The traditional Non-Maximum Suppression (NMS) is substituted with the Soft Non-Maximum Suppression (Soft-NMS), successfully reducing the model's duplicate detection rate for compact objects. Based on the experimental findings, the approach presented in this paper demonstrates excellent results in multi-category target recognition for SAR images. Empirical comparisons are conducted on the filtered MSAR dataset. Compared with YOLOv5s, the performance of CCDS-YOLO has been significantly improved. Fruit fly species classification is a fine-grained task as there is a small gap between species. In order to effectively identify and improve the recognition of fruit flies, a fine-grained image-recognition method based on a multi-channel self-attention mechanism was studied and a network framework for fine-grained image recognition based on deep learning was designed in this paper. In this framework, long-term and short-term memory networks are used to extract the underlying features in fruit fly fine-grained images. By inputting the underlying features in the multi-channel self-attention mechanism module, the global and local attention feature maps can be obtained.The weighted attention feature map can also be obtained by multiplying the weight of each channel and the attention feature map. The fine-grained image features of fruit flies were obtained by summing the weighted attention feature map. A softmax classifier was used to process the features and complete the recognition of the fruit fly fine-grained images. Two fine-grained image datasets of fruit flies were applied as experimental objects. Dataset 1 and Dataset 2 contain 11,778 images and 20,580 images from 46 different categories of fruit flies, respectively. The Kappa coefficient was used as the evaluation index to identify fruit fly images with different targets using the method proposed herein. The experimental results showed that, as the number of attention channels increased, the Kappa coefficient gradually increased, suggesting an improvement in the accuracy of fine-grained image recognition. The fine-grained image features extracted by introducing a multi-channel self-attention mechanism exhibited more distinct boundaries with a small amount of overlap, demonstrating strong feature extraction capabilities. To address the current steel surface defect detection algorithms in practical applications involving low detection accuracy, an efficient and highly accurate strip steel surface defect detection algorithm, DEW-YOLO, is proposed in this paper. Firstly, by combining the advantages of deformable convolutional networks (DCNs), this paper innovates the C2F module in YOLOv8 and proposes a C2f_DCN module that can flexibly sample features to enhance the abilities of learning and expressing defect features of different sizes and shapes. Secondly, the explicit visual center (EVC) is introduced into the backbone network, which enhances feature extraction capabilities and adaptability and enables the model to better adjust features at different levels and scales. Finally, the original loss function is replaced with the Wise-IoU (WIoU) loss function to accurately measure the similarity between the target frames and improve the defect detection performance of the model. The experimental results on the NEU-DET dataset demonstrate that the algorithms proposed in this paper achieved a mean average precision (mAP) of 80.3% in steel surface defect detection tasks, which was a 3.9% improvement over the original YOLOv8 model. Scene text detection is an important research field in computer vision, playing a crucial role in various application scenarios. However, existing scene text detection methods often fail to achieve satisfactory results when faced with text instances of different sizes, shapes, and complex backgrounds. To address the challenge of detecting diverse texts in natural scenes, this paper proposes a multi-scale natural scene text detection method based on attention feature extraction and cascaded feature fusion. This method combines global and local attention through an improved attention feature fusion module (DSAF) to capture text features of different scales, enhancing the network's perception of text regions and improving its feature extraction capabilities. Simultaneously, an improved cascaded feature fusion module (PFFM) is used to fully integrate the extracted feature maps, expanding the receptive field of features and enriching the expressive ability of the feature maps. Finally, to address the cascaded feature maps, a lightweight subspace attention module (SAM) is introduced to partition the concatenated feature maps into several sub-space feature maps, facilitating spatial information interaction among features of different scales. For visible and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image fusion, this paper proposes a visible and SAR image fusion algorithm based on a Transformer and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Firstly, in this paper, the Restormer Block is used to extract cross-modal shallow features. Then, we introduce an improved Transformer–CNN Feature Extractor (TCFE) with a two-branch residual structure. This includes a Transformer branch that introduces the Lite Transformer (LT) and DropKey for extracting global features and a CNN branch that introduces the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) for extracting local features. Finally, the fused image is output based on global features extracted by the Transformer branch and local features extracted by the CNN branch. With the aim of solving the problem of identifying complex underwater acoustic targets using a single signal feature in the Time–Frequency (TF) feature, this paper designs a method that recognizes the underwater targets based on the Delay-Doppler joint feature. First, this method uses symplectic finite Fourier transform (SFFT) to extract the Delay-Doppler features of underwater acoustic signals, analyzes the Time–Frequency features at the same time, and combines the Delay-Doppler (DD) feature and Time–Frequency feature to form a joint feature (TF-DD). Pine wilt disease (PWD) is a forest disease characterized by rapid spread and extremely high lethality, posing a serious threat to the ecological security of China's forests and causing significant economic losses in forestry. Given the extensive forestry area, limited personnel for inspection and monitoring, and high costs, utilizing UAV-based remote sensing monitoring for diseased trees represents an effective approach for controlling the spread of PWD. However, due to the small target size and uneven scale of pine wilt disease, as well as the limitations of real-time detection by drones, traditional disease tree detection algorithms based on RGB remote sensing images do not achieve an optimal balance among accuracy, detection speed, and model complexity due to real-time detection limitations. Consequently, this paper proposes Light-ViTeYOLO, a lightweight pine wilt disease detection method based on Vision Transformer-enhanced YOLO (You Only Look Once). A novel lightweight multi-scale attention module is introduced to construct an EfficientViT feature extraction network for global receptive field and multi-scale learning. A novel neck network, CACSNet(Content-Aware Cross-Scale bidirectional fusion neck network), is designed to enhance the detection of diseased trees at single granularity, and the loss function is optimized to improve localization accuracy. The algorithm effectively reduces the number of parameters and giga floating-point operations per second (GFLOPs) of the detection model while enhancing overall detection performance. Experimental results demonstrate that compared with other baseline algorithms, Light-ViTeYOLO proposed in this paper has the least parameter and computational complexity among related algorithms, with 3.89 MFLOPs and 7.4 GFLOPs, respectively. The FPS rate is 57.9 (frames/s), which is better than the original YOLOv5. Meanwhile, its mAP@0.5:0.95 is the best among the baseline algorithms, and the recall and mAP@0.5 slightly decrease. Due to the characteristics of different forms and small bird droppings-related defects in photovoltaic modules, problems of missing detection, wrong detection, and low detection accuracy often exist in the bird droppings covering the detection of photovoltaic modules. In this paper, a defect identification method based on the improved Coordinate Attention—You Only Look Once (CA-YOLOv5) network is proposed. Firstly, a layer of the Coordinate Attention module is added between the Backbone and Neck network, which takes into account channel and location information to enhance the feature extraction ability of the network model. Secondly, the small target detection layer is added to fuse different feature information from shallow networks and deep networks so as to improve the multi-scale feature detection ability of the network structure and effectively improve the detection effect of small targets. Finally, the experimental results show that, compared with the original algorithm, the proposed improved algorithm based on YOLOv5s has a mean average precision (mAP) value of 92%, an increase of 5.2%, and the model volume is also reduced in different degrees compared with other mainstream algorithms, achieving a good balance between detection accuracy and model volume. Traditional DeepLabV3+ image semantic segmentation methods face challenges in pitaya orchard environments characterized by multiple interference factors, complex image backgrounds, high computational complexity, and extensive memory consumption. This paper introduces an improved visual navigation path recognition method for pitaya orchards. Initially, DeepLabV3+ utilizes a lightweight MobileNetV2 as its primary feature extraction backbone, which is augmented with a Pyramid Split Attention (PSA) module placed after the Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling (ASPP) module. This improvement enhances the spatial feature representation of feature maps, thereby sharpening the segmentation boundaries. Additionally, an Efficient Channel Attention Network (ECANet) mechanism is integrated with the lower-level features of MobileNetV2 to reduce computational complexity and refine the clarity of target boundaries. The paper also designs a navigation path extraction algorithm, which fits the road mask regions segmented by the model to achieve precise navigation path recognition. Experimental findings show that the enhanced DeepLabV3+ model achieved a Mean Intersection over Union (MIoU) and average pixel accuracy of 95.79% and 97.81%, respectively. These figures represent increases of 0.59 and 0.41 percentage points when contrasted with the original model. Furthermore, the model's memory consumption is reduced by 85.64%, 84.70%, and 85.06% when contrasted with the Pyramid Scene Parsing Network (PSPNet), U-Net, and Fully Convolutional Network (FCN) models, respectively. This reduction makes the proposed model more efficient while maintaining high segmentation accuracy, thus supporting enhanced operational efficiency in practical applications. The test results for navigation path recognition accuracy reveal that the angle error between the navigation centerline extracted using the least squares method and the manually fitted centerline is less than 5°. Additionally, the average deviation between the road centerlines extracted under three different lighting conditions and the actual road centerline is only 2.66 pixels, with an average image recognition time of 0.10 s. Aiming at the shortcomings of single-sensor sensing information characterization ability, which is easily interfered with by external environmental factors, a method of intelligent perception is proposed in this paper. This method integrates multi-source and multi-level information, including spindle temperature field, spindle thermal deformation, operating parameters, and motor current. Firstly, the internal and external thermal-error-related signals of the spindle system are collected by sensors, and the feature parameters are extracted; then, the radial basis function (RBF) neural network is utilized to realize the preliminary integration of the feature parameters because of the advantages of the RBF neural network, which offers strong multi-dimensional solid nonlinear mapping ability and generalization ability. Thermal-error decision values are then generated by a weighted fusion of different pieces of evidence by considering uncertain information from multiple sources. The spindle thermal-error sensing experiment was based on the spindle system of the VMC850 (Yunnan Machine Tool Group Co., LTD, Yunnan, China) vertical machining center of the Yunnan Machine Tool Factory. Experiments were designed for thermal-error sensing of the spindle under constant speed (2000 r/min and 4000 r/min), standard variable speed, and stepped variable speed conditions. The experiment's results show that the prediction accuracy of the intelligent-sensing model with multi-source information fusion can reach 98.1%, 99.3%, 98.6%, and 98.8% under the above working conditions, respectively. As remote sensing technology has advanced, the use of satellites and similar technologies has become increasingly prevalent in daily life. Nevertheless, because of the distinct qualities of remote sensing, including expansive scenes and small, densely packed targets, there are many challenges in detecting remote sensing objects. Those challenges lead to insufficient accuracy in remote sensing object detection. Consequently, developing a new model is essential to enhance the identification capabilities for objects in remote sensing imagery. To solve these constraints, we have designed the OD-YOLO approach that uses multi-scale feature fusion to improve the performance of the YOLOv8n model in small target detection. Firstly, traditional convolutions have poor recognition capabilities for certain geometric shapes. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce the Detection Refinement Module (DRmodule) into the backbone architecture. This module utilizes Deformable Convolutional Networks and the Hybrid Attention Transformer to strengthen the model's capability for feature extraction from geometric shapes and blurred objects effectively. Meanwhile, based on the Feature Pyramid Network of YOLO, at the head of the model framework, this paper enhances the detection capability by introducing a Dynamic Head to strengthen the fusion of different scales features in the feature pyramid. Additionally, to address the issue of detecting small objects in remote sensing images, this paper specifically designs the OIoU loss function to finely describe the difference between the detection box and the true box, further enhancing model performance. Experiments on the VisDrone dataset show that OD-YOLO surpasses the compared models by at least 5.2% in mAP50 and 4.4% in mAP75, and experiments on the Foggy Cityscapes dataset demonstrated that OD-YOLO improved mAP by 6.5%, demonstrating outstanding results in tasks related to remote sensing images and adverse weather object detection. With the increasing complexity of the grid meter dial, precise feature extraction is becoming more and more difficult. Many automatic recognition solutions have been proposed for grid meter readings. However, traditional inspection methods cannot guarantee detection accuracy in complex environments. So, deep-learning methods are combined with grid meter recognition. Existing recognition systems that utilize segmentation models exhibit very high computation. It is challenging to ensure high real-time performance in edge computing devices. Therefore, an improved meter recognition model based on YOLOv7 is proposed in this paper. Partial convolution (PConv) is introduced into YOLOv7 to create a lighter network. Different PConv introduction locations on the base module have been used in order to find the optimal approach for reducing the parameters and floating point of operations (FLOPs). Meanwhile, the dynamic head (DyHead) module is utilized to enhance the attention mechanism for the YOLOv7 model. It can improve the detection accuracy of striped objects. As a result, this paper achieves mAP 50 v a l of 97.87% and mAP 50 : 90 v a l of 62.4% with only 5.37 M parameters. The improved model's inference speed can reach 108 frames per second (FPS). Current low-light image enhancement techniques prioritize increasing image luminance but fail to address issues including loss of intricate distortion of colors and image details. In order to address these issues that has been overlooked by all parties, this paper suggests a multi-module optimization network for enhancing low-light images by integrating deep learning with Retinex theory. First, we create a decomposition network to separate the lighting components and reflections from the low-light image. We incorporated an enhanced global spatial attention (GSA) module into the decomposition network to boost its flexibility and adaptability. This module enhances the extraction of comprehensive information from the image and safeguards against information loss. To increase the illumination component's luminosity, we subsequently constructed an enhancement network. The Multiscale Guidance Block (MSGB) has been integrated into the improvement network, together with multilayer extended convolution to expand the sensing field and enhance the network's capability for feature extraction. In the process of fabric production, various types of defects affect the quality of a fabric. However, due to the wide variety of fabric defects, the complexity of fabric textures, and the concealment of small target defects, current fabric defect detection algorithms suffer from issues such as having a slow detection speed, low detection accuracy, and a low recognition rate of small target defects. Therefore, developing an efficient and accurate fabric defect detection system has become an urgent problem that needs to be addressed in the textile industry. Addressing the aforementioned issues, this paper proposes an improved YOLOv8n-LAW algorithm based on the YOLOv8n algorithm. First, LSKNet attention mechanisms are added to both ends of the C2f module in the backbone network to provide a broader context area, enhancing the algorithm's feature extraction capability. Next, the PAN-FPN structure of the backbone network is replaced by the AFPN structure, so that the different levels of features of the defects are closer to the semantic information in the progressive fusion. Finally, the CIoU loss is replaced with the WIoU v3 loss, allowing the model to dynamically adjust gradient gains based on the features of fabric defects, effectively focusing on distinguishing between defective and non-defective regions. The experimental results show that the improved YOLOv8n-LAW algorithm achieved an accuracy of 97.4% and a detection speed of 46 frames per second, while effectively increasing the recognition rate of small target defects. The instance segmentation model based on deep learning has addressed the challenges in intelligently detecting water leakage in shield tunneling. Due to the limited generalization ability of the baseline model, occurrences of missed detections, false detections, and repeated detections are encountered during the actual detection of tunnel water leakage. This paper adopts Mask R-CNN as the baseline model and introduces a mask cascade strategy to enhance the quality of positive samples. Additionally, the backbone network in the model is replaced with RegNetX to enlarge the model's receptive field, and MDConv is introduced to enhance the model's feature extraction capability in the edge receptive field region. Building upon these improvements, the proposed model is named Cascade-MRegNetX. The backbone network MRegNetX features a symmetrical block structure, which, when combined with deformable convolutions, greatly assists in extracting edge features from corresponding regions. During the dataset preprocessing stage, we augment the dataset through image rotation and classification, thereby improving both the quality and quantity of samples. Finally, by leveraging pre-trained models through transfer learning, we enhance the robustness of the target model. This model can effectively extract features from water leakage areas of different scales or deformations. Through instance segmentation experiments conducted on a dataset comprising 766 images of tunnel water leakage, the experimental results demonstrate that the improved model achieves higher precision in tunnel water leakage mask detection. Through these enhancements, the detection effectiveness, feature extraction capability, and generalization ability of the baseline model are improved. The improved Cascade-MRegNetX model achieves respective improvements of 7.7%, 2.8%, and 10.4% in terms of AP, AP0.5, and AP0.75 compared to the existing Cascade Mask R-CNN model. Generalized target detection algorithms perform well for large- and medium-sized targets but struggle with small ones. However, with the growing importance of aerial images in urban transportation and environmental monitoring, detecting small targets in such imagery has been a promising research hotspot. The challenge in small object detection lies in the limited pixel proportion and the complexity of feature extraction. Moreover, current mainstream detection algorithms tend to be overly complex, leading to structural redundancy for small objects. To cope with these challenges, this paper recommends the PCSG model based on yolov5, which optimizes both the detection head and backbone networks. (1) An enhanced detection header is introduced, featuring a new structure that enhances the feature pyramid network and the path aggregation network. This enhancement bolsters the model's shallow feature reuse capability and introduces a dedicated detection layer for smaller objects. Additionally, redundant structures in the network are pruned, and the lightweight and versatile upsampling operator CARAFE is used to optimize the upsampling algorithm. (2) The paper proposes the module named SPD-Conv to replace the strided convolution operation and pooling structures in yolov5, thereby enhancing the backbone's feature extraction capability. Furthermore, Ghost convolution is utilized to optimize the parameter count, ensuring that the backbone meets the real-time needs of aerial image detection. The experimental results from the RSOD dataset show that the PCSG model exhibits superior detection performance. Accurately assessing the state of health (SOH) of lithium batteries is of great significance for improving battery safety performance. However, the current assessment for SOH suffers from the difficulty of selecting health features and the lack of uncertainty using data-driven methods. To this end, this paper proposes a health state assessment method for lithium-ion batteries based on health feature extraction and an improved Informer model. First, multiple features that can reflect the SOH of lithium-ion batteries were extracted from the charging and discharging time, the peak value of incremental capacity curve (ICC), and the inflection point value of differential voltage curve, etc., and the correlation between multiple health features and the health state was evaluated by gray correlation analysis. Then, an improved Informer model is proposed to establish a health state estimation method for lithium-ion batteries. Finally, the proposed algorithm is tested and validated using publicly available battery charge/discharge datasets and compared with other algorithms. The results show that the method in this paper can realize high-precision SOH prediction with a root-mean-square error (RMSE) of 0.011, and the model fit reaches more than 98%. In the feature identification of maritime VHF radio communication signals, shipborne VHF communication technology follows the same international technical standards formulated by IMO, uses analog communication technology and uses the same communication channel in the same area, and cannot effectively achieve signal feature identification by adding feature elements in the process of signal modulation. How to effectively identify the ship using VHF radio has always been a technical difficulty in the field of ship perception. In this paper, based on the convolutional neural network, combined with the feasibility of CAM feature extraction and BiLSTM feature extraction in non-cooperative signal recognition, a deep learning recognition model of shipborne VHF radio communication signals is established, and the deep learning approach is employed to discern the features of VHF signals, thereby accomplishing the identification and classification of transmitting VHF radio stations. Several experiments are designed according to the characteristics of ship communication scenes at sea. Simple Summary: In the sorting process of Chinese softshell turtles, it is necessary to classify them based on their weight and accurately identify their plastron and carapace. This process requires heavy manual labor and complex mechanical processing methods. To improve processing efficiency and reduce costs, this article introduces machine vision technology, and a new image processing method is proposed. This method can estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and accurately locate the positions of their plastron and carapace. This paper focuses on two aspects, i.e., visual recognition and weight prediction, and a novel method for the object detection and weight prediction of Chinese softshell turtles is proposed. In the individual sorting process, computer vision technology is used to estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and classify them by weight. For the visual recognition of the body parts of Chinese softshell turtles, a color space model is proposed in this paper to separate the turtles from the background effectively. By applying multiple linear regression analysis for modeling, the relationship between the weight and morphological parameters of Chinese softshell turtles is obtained, which can be used to estimate the weight of turtles well. An improved deep learning object detection network is used to extract the features of the plastron and carapace of the Chinese softshell turtles, achieving excellent detection results. To ensure the long-term stable and uninterrupted service of satellite navigation systems, the robustness and reliability of time–frequency systems are crucial. Integrity monitoring is an effective method to enhance the robustness and reliability of time–frequency systems. Time–frequency signals are fundamental for integrity monitoring, with their time differences and frequency biases serving as essential indicators. These indicators are influenced by the inherent characteristics of the time–frequency signals, as well as the links and equipment they traverse. Meanwhile, existing research primarily focuses on only monitoring the integrity of the time–frequency signals' output by the atomic clock group, neglecting the integrity monitoring of the time–frequency signals generated and distributed by the time–frequency signal generation and distribution subsystem. This paper introduces a time–frequency signal integrity monitoring algorithm based on the temperature compensation frequency bias combination model. By analyzing the characteristics of time difference measurements, constructing the temperature compensation frequency bias combination model, and extracting and monitoring noise and frequency bias features from the time difference measurements, the algorithm achieves comprehensive time–frequency signal integrity monitoring. Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm can effectively detect, identify, and alert users to time–frequency signal faults. Additionally, the model and the integrity monitoring parameters developed in this paper exhibit high adaptability, making them directly applicable to the integrity monitoring of time–frequency signals across various links. This paper concentrates on the elevator passenger detection task, a pivotal element for subsequent elevator passenger tracking and behavior recognition, crucial for ensuring passenger safety. To enhance the accuracy of detecting passenger positions inside elevators, we improved the YOLOv8 network and proposed the SC-YOLOv8 elevator passenger detection network with soft-pooling and attention mechanisms. The main improvements in this paper encompass the following aspects: Firstly, we transformed the convolution module (ConvModule) of the YOLOv8 backbone network by introducing spatial and channel reconstruction convolution (SCConv). This improvement aims to reduce spatial and channel redundancy in the feature extraction process of the backbone network, thereby improving the overall efficiency and performance of the detection network. Secondly, we propose a dual-branch SPP-Fast module by incorporating a soft-pooling branch into the YOLOv8 network's SPP-Fast module. This dual-branch SPP-Fast module can preserve essential information while reducing the impact of noise. Finally, we propose a soft-pooling and multi-scale convolution CBAM module to further enhance the network's performance. This module enhances the network's focus on key regions, allowing for more targeted feature extraction, thereby further improving the accuracy of object detection. Additionally, the attention module enhances the network's robustness in handling complex backgrounds. We conducted experiments on an elevator passenger dataset. The results show that the precision, recall, and mAP of our improved YOLOv8 network are 94.32%, 91.17%, and 92.95%, respectively, all surpassing those of the original YOLOv8 network.
