Introduction: The HoNOS scale was designed for the assessment of psychosocial impairment in various domains. While it is widely used in psychiatric settings, it has not been validated in Spanish for use in patients with schizophrenia. Aim: To examine the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the HoNOS scale in a sample of schizophrenia patients. Method: A total of 194 individuals aged 18 to 65 with schizophrenia spectrum diagnoses were evaluated using the HoNOS. Illness severity and level of functioning were also assessed. Results: The HoNOS showed moderate internal consistency, good inter‐observer reliability and good test‐retest reliability. Factor analysis revealed an internal structure consisting of four factors, with item distribution differing from the theoretical dimensions proposed for the original scale. Discussion: The Spanish version of the HoNOS scale is a reliable and valid instrument for assessing psychosocial impairment in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. However, further research is needed to determine its internal structure more accurately. Implications for Practice: The HoNOS scale provides researchers and clinicians with a valid measure of impairment in twelve different domains, which can facilitate and guide the treatment of schizophrenia patients. The COVID-19 health crisis brought changes to people´s lives that affected them both physically and psychologically. The aim of this paper is to identify the key socio-psychological factors involved in the main changes to the mental health of the Spanish population, and to determine whether they had the same impact across genders. The survey data from the Spanish Centre for Sociological Research entitled "CIS Survey 3324 Effects and Consequences of Coronavirus IV" (specifically, question 14) were used to this end. Question variables were recoded into dummy variables for analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The study found five key factors that have changed the mental health of the Spanish population: "being more empathic", "enjoying leisure more", "discovering new leisure activities", "being more religious or spiritual" and "being more interested in the future". The aim of this paper is to present the Spanish adaptation of the "Life Values Questionnaire" (VLQ; Wilson et al., 2010), providing data on its psychometric properties. The questionnaire was administrated to 531 participants aged between 18 and 70 years (M= 28.73), 70% of whom were female university students. The exploratory factor analysis showed three main factors: community, closeness and obligations, whose internal consistency levels were .70, .71 and .68, respectively, while the total score was .71, which was similar to that of the English original version. In terms of the concurrent validity, the VLQ showed moderate correlations with the "Personal Values Questionnaire" (Schwartz, 1992) (r= .47), and with the "Life Snapshot Questionnaire (Ruiz-García et al., 2021; Tsai et al., 2023) (r= .65). The usefulness of the VLQ for assessing and tracking key processes involved in clinical change, as well as for enhancing and assessing personal values intimately related to quality of life, meaning in life and community well-being is discussed. Ghost tourism is emerging in numerous destinations all around world. This paper examines the motivations for participating in ghost tourism using the push-pull theory; and analyzes how motivations and constraints may influence the intention to participate in ghost tourism in Spain. Data were collected from 177 domestic tourists in Córdoba (Spain). An exploratory factor analysis revealed two push motivation dimensions and three pull motivation dimensions. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the results showed that the search for novelty and emotional experience (push motivation) and the organization of ghost tours (pull motivation) are key incentives for the behavioral intention. Occupational stress, as a negative facet, is a pervasive problem with significant implications for organizations, employees, welfare systems and health. The implementation of measurement tools that can capture the different organizational dimensions that determine stress in workers is part of the stress management and troubleshooting strategy that every company must manage daily. The aim of the present study was to adapt and validate the 25-item version of the ILO-WHO stress scale by Ivancevich and Matteson in the context of the Canary Islands of Spain. The tool assesses specific organizational dimensions of work-related stress determinants: organizational climate and structure, leader influence, cohesion, territory, technology and group support. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) on a sample of 1510 Canary Islands workers was carried out. The results indicate that the job stress scale revealed adequate psychometric properties, construct validity and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.972), and it can be profitably used to measure stress.
