Abstract
The article presents the 1977 Combahee River Collective Statement, a statement from Black feminists in the U.S. that have been meeting together since 1974. Topics of the statement include the origin of contemporary Black feminism, what they believe such as the specific province of their politics, and the problems in organizing Black feminists.
