The paper discusses the personal experience of the author in discovering the importance and power of transformative education. However, there are sprouting seeds in the field of transformative learning that need further study and contemplation. The present model of Mezirow (1975) heavily relies on cognition and the rational thinking of students and adult-learners. The author articulates the importance of music, poetry, stories, biography, the soul and meditation as new ways and sprouting seeds in developing the new direction for transformative education [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
