In this paper, we use Schauder and Banach fixed point theorems to study the existence, uniqueness and stability of bounded nonhomogeneous iterative functional differential equations of the form x' (t) = λ1x(t) + λ2x[2](t)+...+λnx[n](t)+f(t). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nonlinear systems of time dependent partial differential equations of real life phenomena tend to be very complicated to solve numerically. One common approach to solve such problems is by applying operator splitting which introduces subproblems that are easier to handle. The solutions of the subsystems are usually glued together by either the Godunov method (first-order) or the Strang method (second-order). However, the accuracy of such an approach may be very hard to analyse because of the complexity of the equations involved. The purpose of the present paper is to introduce another line of reasoning concerning the accuracy of operator splitting. Let us assume that a fully coupled and implicit discretization of the complete system has been developed. Under appropriate conditions on the continuous problem, such discretizations provide reasonable and convergent approximations. As in the continuous case, operator splitting can be utilized to obtain tractable algebraic subsystems. The problem we address in the present paper is to obtain a bound on the difference between the fully coupled implicit discrete solutions, uh, and the solutions, uh, s, obtained by applying operator splitting to these discrete equations. Suppose we know that uh converges to the analytical solution u as the grid is properly refined and, applying the results from this paper, that uh, s converges toward uh under grid refinement. Then, by the triangle inequality, also the splitting approximation uh, s converges toward the analytical solution u and convergence is thus obtained for an approximation that, from a practical point of view, is easier to compute. We will show in this paper that if λ is very close to 1, then can be attained, where M is a compact–manifold with boundary. This result gives a counter–example to the conjecture of de Figueiredo and Ruf in their paper titled "On an inequality by Trudinger and Moser and related elliptic equations" ( Comm. Pure. Appl. In this paper, Numerical solution of Partial Diferential-Algebraic Equa- tions(PDAEs) is considered by Multivariate Padè Approximations. We applied these method to one example. First Partial Diferential-Algebraic Equation(PDAE) has been converted to power series by two-dimensional diferential transformation,Then the numerical solution of equation was put into Multivariate Padè series form. In this paper we prove existence theorems for integro - differential equations xΔ(t) = f(t, x(t), ∫ 0 t k(t, s, x(s))Δs), x(0) = x0 t ∊ Ia = [0, a] ∩ T, a ∊ R+, where T denotes a time scale (nonempty closed subset of real numbers R), Ia is a time scale interval. Functions f, k are Carathéodory functions with values in a Banach space E and the integral is taken in the sense of Henstock-Kurzweil delta integral, which generalizes the Henstock-Kurzweil integral. Additionally, functions f and k satisfy some boundary conditions and conditions expressed in terms of measures of noncompactness. Moreover, we prove an Ambrosetti type lemma on a time scale. Several important Strichartz type estimates for the fundamental solution of the corresponding linear problem are established. Then we apply such estimates to prove the local and global existence of solutions for the initial value problems of the nonlinear Kaup–Kupershmidt equations. In this paper, a class of global optimization problems is considered. Corresponding to each local minimizer obtained, we introduced a new modified function and construct a corresponding optimization subproblem with one constraint. Then, by applying a local search method to the one-constraint optimization subproblem and using the local minimizer as the starting point, we obtain a better local optimal solution. This process is continued iteratively. A termination rule is obtained which can serve as stopping criterion for the iterating process. In this paper linear periodic systems of difference equations are classified with respect to periodic similarity and kinematic similarity. Complete sets of invariants of periodic difference equations relative to such similarity transformations are given, and corresponding canonical forms are described.
