The article focuses on the successful battle of the Royal Air Force (R.A.F.) against rebels in the dessert of Muscat and Oman. British Foreign Secretary Selwyn Lloyd said that the forces were requested by Sultan Said bin Taimur. It says that as two companies of Cameron Highlanders were airlifted from Kenya to the Persian Gulf base, two British frigates slipped into the coastal waters and four R.A.F. jet fighters fired rockets and cannon into rebel citadels in the Omani mountains.
