With the gradual intensification of aging in China, the issue of elderly care has become the primary issue that needs to be urgently solved in society. The construction of a reasonable and scientific integrated medical and care service system can not only efficiently allocate medical resources and services, but also better meet the needs of the elderly. Due to the involvement of multiple disciplines such as architecture, sociology, psychology, and behavioral science in the construction of the system, as well as the restriction of various objective factors such as medical capacity, spatial scale, and operating costs, the government and elderly care institutions have always been unable to find the best solution for how to scientifically and reasonably construct an integrated medical and care service system. This paper is based on Anshan City, Liaoning Province, which has prominent aging issues and distinct characteristics of the elderly population. Through extensive field research in elderly care institutions, and face-to-face communication with personnel from relevant government departments such as the Municipal Commission on Aging, the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Health Commission, the Medical Insurance Bureau, and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, it truly understands the problems that arise in the construction of the urban integrated medical and care service system. From three aspects: urban situation, institutional situation and the needs of the elderly, it is proposed to establish a clear departmental linkage mechanism with clear rights and responsibilities, a policy guarantee mechanism tailored to local conditions, a multi-measure operation mechanism, a technology first intelligent response mechanism, a warm and efficient service mechanism for the people, an overall layout mechanism, an evaluation and supervision mechanism for full process control, and a talent supply mechanism of external introduction and internal training. City sustainability means a balance among economy, society, and environment in the rapid urbanization process. Effective assessment of city sustainability could guide a city to develop in the desired direction. Northeastern China was one of the forefronts of China's reform and opening up, but now it has become a "sore point" in national development. Liaoning province plays a crucial role in the process of realizing the revitalization of Northeastern China. This paper investigated the sustainability performances of cities in Liaoning by following the process of multi-criteria decision making. A novel weighting method was proposed based on Synergetics that considers the interrelationship among sustainability criteria. The results showed that the sustainability level of Liaoning was not ideal, with only two cities having sustainability performances over 0.55. The cities located in the Middle region had a higher sustainability level than those in the West and East regions. Moreover, the performances on the three dimensions were uncoordinated. The salary of employed staff and disposal income were the two important factors on sustainable development. The forecasting analysis showed that the sustainability level of the cities will develop at a rapid pace in the future. Comprehensive risk evaluation of urban areas is important for disaster prevention and mitigation. Since disaster scenarios of urban areas are diverse and complex, the data are generally inadequate for understanding the absolute risk of disaster loss posed by any specific hazard or multi-hazards but adequate for identifying areas that are at relatively higher risk levels to some extent. Therefore, this paper focuses on modeling relative risk assessment for urban disaster loss. Based on disaster system theory, elements at risk and hazard-formative environments were determined as the crucial components to reflect risk discrepancies of different urban areas facing similar hazards. Furthermore, the critical path of interactions between components within the disaster system was constructed by introducing exposure and sensitivity as filtering processes. On this basis, a relative risk model for urban disaster loss assessment was constructed and applied to cities in Liaoning Province as an illustration. In addition, the results were represented and analyzed from multi-dimensions. A test for the uncertainties of the results indicates that this model shows a strong applicability for urban disaster loss relative risk assessment on the premise of accurate data concerning elements at risk and hazard-formative environments. PCDD/Fs in the urban air of Dalian, China were monitored with high-volume active sampler from November 2009 to October 2010. The concentration of ClDD/Fs ranged from 3065 to 49538 fg m, with an average of 10249 fg m. The international toxic equivalents (I-TEQ) value of that was 61.8-1182 fg m, with an average of 235 fg m, which was comparable to those in the other urban locations around the world. It was found that the ClDD/Fs appeared to be present mainly in the particle phase during winter, spring and autumn, while during summer which were dominantly in gas phase. The ratio of ClDD/Fs present in particle phase increased with the increasing level of chlorination. The concentrations of PCDFs and PCDDs decreased with the increase of chlorinated level, while the concentrations of 2,3,7,8-PCDDs congeners increased with the increase of chlorination level. The homolog profiles of the concentrations of PCDFs presented were higher than those of the PCDDs, which indicated the PCDD/Fs pollution source of the air in Dalian was characteristic for thermal source pollution. The correlation analysis of meteorological parameters with the concentrations of ClCDD/Fs was conducted using SPSS packages, and it was found that the ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure were important factors influence the concentration of PCDD/Fs in the air. The respiratory risk and intake dioxins of the residents around the sampling sites were studied in the paper. It was found that Junge-Pankow model was much more accurate in predicting the gas-particle partitioning behavior of PCDD/Fs homologues during winter, while the Harner-Bidleman model shows better agreement with the measured data during winter and summer. Abstract: Liaoning Province is insufficient in water resources, and with the gradually increasing process of the urbanization, the degree of water resources insufficiency is exacerbating by degrees. This paper obtains the specialty of short duration storm through analyzing the years of rain data and the seriously harmful storm with picking up Shenyang as the researching object, and finally gets frequency curve of short duration rain by using DPS. Taking the campus of Shenyang Agricultural University as an example, the paper calculates the availability according to the different types of terrains, and proposes the using plan of rain, then calculates the amount of rain. The study shows that rain reclamation can effectively remit the conflict of water in Shenyang and create a better environment. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The urban agglomeration area is a heavy disaster area of PM2.5 pollution, and the problem of PM2.5 pollution seriously affects the natural environment and public health. Accurate prediction of PM2.5 concentrations in urban agglomerations is the basis for effective environmental management. Deep learning methods such as Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) have been applied to PM2.5 concentration prediction in urban agglomerations. However, the existing research methods have low prediction accuracy and poor practicality, and lack a universal method to accurately predict PM2.5 concentrations in 19 urban agglomerations of China. Based on this, this paper combines BiLSTM and CNN, and introduces a Learning Rate Schedule (LRS) to propose a hybrid model of LRS + BiLSTM + CNN. This model combines the advantages of BiLSTM and CNN to extract temporal and spatial features of PM2.5 data. In addition, LRS is introduced in the process of model training, which dynamically adjusts the learning rate of the network model and reduces the training cost of the model. Finally, the daily average datasets of six air qualities from nineteen urban agglomerations of China are used as examples, and seven benchmark network models, CNN, Long Short-Term Memory, BiLSTM, CNN + LSTM, LSTM + CNN, and CNN + BiLSTM, are considered for validation experiments. The results show that the prediction effect of the proposed model is significantly better than that of the benchmark model in 17 urban agglomerations, such as Mid-southern Liaoning urban agglomerations and Central Yunnan urban agglomeration. Compared with the above seven benchmark models, the prediction accuracy is improved by 12.7%, 8.9%, 12.4%, 12.8%, 16.4%, 19.7%, 9.5%; 10.2%, 24.2%, 14.4%, 17.9%, 18.4%, 19.9% and 2.6% respectively. The LRS is fully applicable to nineteen urban agglomerations, which has clear effects on the optimization of the network model. LRS + BiLSTM + CNN has high accuracy and practicality in predicting PM2.5 concentrations in urban agglomeration areas in China, and can provide effective technical support for environmental governance of urban agglomeration areas. Particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 μm or less (PM2.5) has frequently been reported to be associated with an increased incidence of cancer, but few studies have explored the association between PM2.5 exposure and cancer survival. We retrospectively analyzed the association between PM2.5 exposure and the overall survival (OS) of cervical cancer patients residing in 14 urban areas of Liaoning Province, northeastern China, during January 2014–October 2021. Patients from urban areas who completed the recommended treatments with complete follow-up information were included. The PM2.5 monitoring data of each urban area of Liaoning Province were retrieved, and individual exposure to PM2.5 after diagnosis was calculated as the average daily concentration in the city of residence from the date of discharge to the date of death or the last follow-up. Log-rank tests and Cox regression were performed to examine the relationship between PM2.5 exposure and cervical cancer survival. A total of 1753 cervical cancer patients were finally included, among whom 804 (45.9%) were from Shenyang City, the capital of Liaoning Province. The median average daily concentration of PM2.5 to which the patients were exposed was 45.0 (interquartile range 38.2–50.0) μg/m3. Both log-rank tests (grouped by quartiles, p < 0.001) and Cox regression (continuous, HR = 1.06, 95% CI 1.04–1.08) indicated that PM2.5 was significantly associated with shorter OS. Sensitivity analysis also confirmed the robustness of our findings. From the subgroup analysis, only the OS of stage II and stage III patients was associated with PM exposure. Our findings provide the insight that PM2.5 exposure might be associated with shorter OS of cervical cancer patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
