With the development of computer technology, automatic test paper generation systems have gradually become an effective tool for detecting and maintaining national machine security and protecting the rights and interests of workers. This article achieved multi-level oral scores for different types of questions through online scoring using artificial neural networks in recent years. Based on its specific situation and evaluation index requirements, an analysis module that is reasonable, efficient, and in line with the hierarchical structure and module requirements of national conditions has been designed to complete the research on automatic test paper generation technology, in order to help better manage and allocate human resources and improve production efficiency. Methods to rank documents in large-scale citation data are increasingly assessed in terms of their ability to identify small sets of expert-selected papers. Here, we propose an algorithm for the accurate identification of milestone papers from citation networks. The algorithm combines an influence propagation process with game theory concepts. It outperforms state-of-the-art metrics in the identification of milestone papers in aggregate citation network data, while potentially mitigating the ranking's temporal bias compared with metrics that have similar milestone identification performance. With the exponential growth in the number of academic researchers, it is crucial for editors of scientific journals to identify the highest-quality papers. While several measures exist to evaluate a paper's impact post-publication, the challenge of determining the potential impact of a manuscript during the review process remains an understudied issue. In this paper, we propose a reviewer-reputation ranking algorithm to identify high-quality papers based on paper citations, where a reviewer's reputation is computed from the correlation between their past ratings and the current number of citations received by the papers they have evaluated. During the review process, reviewers with high reputation scores are given more weight to determine the quality of papers. We test the algorithm on an artificial network with 200 reviewers and 600 papers, as well as on the American Physical Society (APS) data set, including in the analysis 308,243 papers and 274,154 mutual citations. We compare our approach with two existing methods, demonstrating that our algorithm significantly outperforms the others in identifying manuscripts with the highest quality. Abstract We evaluate article-level metrics along two dimensions. Firstly, we analyse metrics' ranking bias in terms of fields and time. Secondly, we evaluate their performance based on test data that consists of (1) papers that have won high-impact awards and (2) papers that have won prizes for outstanding quality. We consider different citation impact indicators and indirect ranking algorithms in combination with various normalisation approaches (mean-based, percentile-based, co-citation-based, and post hoc rescaling). We execute all experiments on two publication databases which use different field categorisation schemes (author-chosen concept categories and categories based on papers' semantic information). In terms of bias, we find that citation counts are always less time biased but always more field biased compared to PageRank. Furthermore, rescaling paper scores by a constant number of similarly aged papers reduces time bias more effectively compared to normalising by calendar years. We also find that percentile citation scores are less field and time biased than mean-normalised citation counts. In terms of performance, we find that time-normalised metrics identify high-impact papers better shortly after their publication compared to their non-normalised variants. However, after 7 to 10 years, the non-normalised metrics perform better. A similar trend exists for the set of high-quality papers where these performance cross-over points occur after 5 to 10 years. Lastly, we also find that personalising PageRank with papers' citation counts reduces time bias but increases field bias. Similarly, using papers' associated journal impact factors to personalise PageRank increases its field bias. In the work presented in this paper, we analyse ranking algorithms that can be applied to bibliographic citation networks and rank academic entities such as papers and authors. We evaluate how well these algorithms identify important and high-impact entities. The ranking algorithms are computed on the Microsoft Academic Search (MAS) and the ACM digital library citation databases. The MAS database contains 40 million papers and over 260 million citations that span across multiple academic disciplines, while the ACM database contains 1.8 million papers from the computing literature and over 7 million citations. We evaluate the ranking algorithms by using a test data set of papers and authors that won renowned prizes at numerous computer science conferences. The results show that using citation counts is, in general, the best ranking metric to measure high-impact. • We compare the performance of global metrics and their local variants in the identification of expert-selected milestone papers on two distinct citation datasets. • We obtain a family of local variants of PageRank (LeaderRank) with a tunable degree of locality and find they can generate highly correlated scores with the scores by the original metrics. • The local variants of PageRank (LeaderRank) perform similarly well as the original global PageRank (LeaderRank) algorithms in the identification of seminal papers. • The local variants of PageRank (LeaderRank) perform significantly better than local metrics such as citation count, h-index and semi-local centrality. • Compared to network-based global metrics, the proposed local estimates provide a better trade-off between performance and computational efficiency. Recent works aimed to understand how to identify "milestone" scientific papers of great significance from large-scale citation networks. To this end, previous results found that global ranking metrics that take into account the whole network structure (such as Google's PageRank) outperform local metrics such as the citation count. Here, we show that by leveraging the recursive equation that defines the PageRank algorithm, we can propose a family of local impact metrics. Our results reveal that the obtained PageRank-based local metrics outperform the citation count and other local metrics in identifying the seminal papers. Compared with global metrics, these local metrics can reach similar performance in the identification of seminal papers in shorter computational time, without requiring the whole network topology. Academic research is crucial to the development of science and technology and is an important factor that affects national strength. When writing an academic research paper, a rhetorical structure is typically used to present the paper's ideas, but this task is quite difficult for junior researchers. To solve this problem, some studies have adopted text mining to assist with the writing, but the existing methods still require human intervention to generate sentences. Recently, due to the increasing maturity of deep learning technology and the ability to address the problem of automatic text generation, progress has been made in this area. The highly complex deep learning operations can correctly generate sequences and find correlations between sequences. When a user provides a few keywords and key sentences, the proposed algorithm can generate an introduction section for the user. The results show that the generated introduction is more coherent, clearer, and more fluent than existing summarization methods. In addition, the method proposed in this study improves the accuracy compared with traditional text extraction methods. Cutting force is a significant indicator for in-process monitoring of cutting status. Although dynamometers are widely used in cutting force measurement, they are not suitable for nano-cutting due to insufficient sensitivities and low integrating possibilities. This paper presents a smart tool holder composed by piezoelectric ceramics and a flexible hinge, which could be integrated with a fast tool servo (FTS), for three-axial cutting force measurements in micro/nano-cutting. Highlights Although fabrication of colorimetric paper-based analytical devices (PADs) has drawn increasing attention recently, the signal readout method is still a crucial challenge on the way to practical exploitations. We herein introduce an integration of digital image processing with a model PAD for easing and improving the signal readout procedure. The colorimetric detection mechanism of PAD relies on in-situ induced yellowish silver nanoparticles via the interaction of silver ions, poly(vinyl alcohol), and ammonia with isoniazid. The observed color value is related with the concentration of isoniazid. The proposed algorithm is based on mathematical morphology recognition, and minimizes the errors arising from manual area selection. Besides, it allows the recognition of both circle and square shapes in 96-well plate and A4 size array designs. Since this algorithm automatically provides the blank-corrected numerical matrixes and image profiles of red, green and blue channels, further investigations such as outlier classification, construction of regression/prediction models and calculation of detection limit can be easily performed. Comparison of signal readout results of the developed algorithm with ImageJ software demonstrates significant improvements in analysis speed, reproducibility, accuracy and color values. The present paper studies digital topological rough set structures associated with Khalimsky (K -, for brevity) topology. We further explore their properties related to topological (closure and interior) operators. In addition, we find that the K -topological rough set structures have their own features different from certain theoretical properties of the H -rough set structure in [9] w.r.t. the topological operators. More precisely, whereas the H -rough set structure is a topological operator, K -topological concept approximations are proved not to be topological operators. Thus, this paper proposes an alternative approach to the K -topological concept approximations so that we finally have new types of topological operators. Furthermore, it appears that this new ones are smoothly matched with the earlier H -rough set structure from the viewpoint of topological operators. Therefore, they can facilitate the study of continuous-oriented or digital-oriented rough sets, which can be used in applied sciences without any limitations of the cardinalities of the universe and a target set. Besides, they can support certain decision rules with no restriction to anything continuous or discrete (or digital). In addition, we introduce the notion of K -definability of a target subset of a universal set and write an algorithm for estimating the roughness of the above new concept approximations. Objective: Most preventable adverse drug events and medication errors occur during medication ordering. Medication order entry and clinical decision support are available on paper or as computerized systems. In this post-hoc analysis we investigated frequency and clinical impact of blood glucose (BG) documentation- and user-related calculation errors as well as workflow deviations in diabetes management. We aimed to compare a paper-based protocol to a computerized medication management system combined with clinical workflow and decision support.Methods: Seventy-nine hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were treated with an algorithm driven basal-bolus insulin regimen. BG measurements, which were the basis for insulin dose calculations, were manually entered either into the paper-based workflow protocol (PaperG: 37 patients) or into GlucoTab(®)-a mobile tablet PC based system (CompG: 42 patients). We used BG values from the laboratory information system as a reference. A workflow simulator was used to determine user calculation errors as well as workflow deviations and to estimate the effect of errors on insulin doses. The clinical impact of insulin dosing errors and workflow deviations on hypo- and hyperglycemia was investigated.Results: The BG documentation error rate was similar for PaperG (4.9%) and CompG group (4.0%). In PaperG group, 11.1% of manual insulin dose calculations were erroneous and the odds ratio (OR) of a hypoglycemic event following an insulin dosing error was 3.1 (95% CI: 1.4-6.8). The number of BG values influenced by insulin dosing errors was eightfold higher than in the CompG group. In the CompG group, workflow deviations occurred in 5.0% of the tasks which led to an increased likelihood of hyperglycemia, OR 2.2 (95% CI: 1.1-4.6).Discussion: Manual insulin dose calculations were the major source of error and had a particularly strong influence on hypoglycemia. By using GlucoTab(®), user calculation errors were entirely excluded. The immediate availability and automated handling of BG values from medical devices directly at the point of care has a high potential to reduce errors. Computerized systems facilitate the safe use of more complex insulin dosing algorithms without compromising usability. In CompG group, missed or delayed tasks had a significant effect on hyperglycemia, while in PaperG group insufficient precision of documentation times limited analysis. The use of old BG measurements was clinically less relevant.Conclusion: Insulin dosing errors and workflow deviations led to measurable changes in clinical outcome. Diabetes management systems including decision support should address nurses as well as physicians in a computerized way. In this paper, we investigate the performance of message-passing algorithms for the weighted min–max flow (WMMF) problem which was introduced by Ichimori et al. (1980). WMMF was well studied in combinational optimization, as it provides important applications in time transportation problem and the storage management problem. We develop a message-passing algorithm called min–max belief propagation (BP) for determining the optimal solution of WMMF. As the main result of this paper, we prove that for a digraph of size n , BP converges to the optimal solution within O (n 3) time after O (n) iterations if the optimal solution of the underlying min–max flow problem instance is unique. To the best of our knowledge, the fastest polynomial time algorithm for WMMF runs in essentially O (n 6) time among the known algorithms, where n is the number of vertices. The utilization of a supporting tool in Double-Sided Incremental Forming (DSIF) imposes a stabilizing compressive stress through the sheet’s thickness, increasing, thereby, the material’s formability and fatigue life. However, these favorable effects strongly depend on a steady tool-metal contact condition. This work presents a general DSIF control scheme, which augments the conventional position servo-loop with explicit force feedback control. The algorithm is examined for its robustness and effectiveness using complex geometries with varying curvatures and wall angles. Evolutionary algorithms rely on the population initialization strategy to determine a set of candidate solutions, which provide the preliminary knowledge of the problem landscape for the subsequent evolutionary process. However, the distribution of the initial population is rarely concerned in the multimodal evolutionary community. Moreover, a large initial population has not been attractive enough for evolutionary multimodal optimization, because it is difficult and challenging to achieve a balance between diversity and convergence within limited computing resources. As an extended version of our previous conference paper, this paper focuses on the construction of a large initial population that is beneficial for evolutionary multimodal optimization. First, we propose an improved density-based population initialization strategy to generate a uniform initial population with a certain degree of randomness. Then, after acquiring the raw fitness landscape of the problem, a fitness-weighted density-based population initialization strategy is proposed to explore potential global peaks. Finally, we design a multi-species cooperative coevolution algorithm for multimodal optimization, which balances the exploration and exploitation of such a population in the evolutionary process. In recent years, distributed optimization problem have a wide range of applications in various fields. This paper considers the prescribed-time distributed optimization problem with/without constraints. Firstly, we assume the state of each agent is constrained, and the prescribed-time distributed optimization algorithm with constraints is designed on the basis of gradient projection algorithm and consensus algorithm. Secondly, the constrained distributed optimization problem is transformed into the unconstrained distributed optimization problem, and according to the gradient descent algorithm and consensus algorithm, we also propose the prescribed-time distributed optimization algorithm without constraints. By designing the appropriate objective functions, we prove the multi-agent system can converge to the optimal solution within any prescribed-time, and the convergence time is fully independent of the initial conditions and system parameters. Topology optimization has seen increased interest with the rise of additive manufacturing (AM) as a fabrication method, because of its ability to exploit the geometric complexity that AM offers. However, AM still imposes some geometric restrictions on the design, most notably on minimum feature size, overhang angles, and enclosed voids. Enclosed voids are problematic because for many AM methods it is impossible to remove supports, unmelted powder or uncured liquid from them. This paper introduces a filter based on a cumulative sum flood fill algorithm to alleviate this issue in a flexible manner. This filter produces a density field where every enclosed void element is rendered solid. It successfully eliminates enclosed voids in both 2D and 3D problems, with low computational cost due to its geometric nature. In addition we demonstrate direct control over the location, amount, and size of powder removal features by varying boundary conditions for the filter, running additional flood fills, and adding morphology operators, respectively. • The cumulative sum flood fill approach is introduced in topology optimization. • The approach works as a filter and successfully eliminates enclosed voids. • Direct control can be achieved over the amount, location, and size of access channels. • Due to its geometric nature it adds little computational effort. Reviewers play a significant role in academic peer review activities, including conference paper assignment and funding selection, because their evaluation of proposals impacts the final decision. Several studies have proposed reviewer selection strategies or reviewer evaluation methods for solving the problem of selecting appropriate reviewers. Identifying reviewers who are familiar with the proposals to be reviewed is the objective of the reviewer assignment problem. However, the majority of the existing studies ignore quantitative constraints with respect to the articles assigned to the reviewers during the review process. In this study, we propose a novel optimization model with several review condition constraints to address the reviewer assignment problem. In the proposed model, the expertise and research areas of the candidate reviewers and proposals are identified using semantic topic models, which are demonstrated to be effective when measuring the relevance of the reviewers with respect to the proposals to be reviewed; further, the computational efficiency is improved owing to the reduced representation dimensionality. Herein, an improved heuristic algorithm is proposed to match reviewers and papers based on specific topic areas, and candidate reviewers are assigned to each proposal under the global optimum condition based on their overall performance values. Subsequently, an empirical test is conducted using a conference reviewer dataset. In this paper, we are interested in algorithms that take in input an arbitrary graph G , and that enumerate in output all the (inclusion-wise) maximal "subgraphs" of G which fulfil a given property Π. All over this paper, we study several different properties Π , and the notion of subgraph under consideration (induced or not) will vary from a result to another. More precisely, we present efficient algorithms to list all maximal split subgraphs, maximal induced cographs and maximal threshold graphs of a given input graph. All the algorithms presented here run in polynomial delay, and moreover for split graphs it only requires polynomial space. In order to develop an algorithm for maximal split (edge-)subgraphs, we establish a bijection between the maximal split subgraphs and the maximal stable sets of an auxiliary graph. For cographs and threshold graphs, the algorithms rely on a framework recently introduced by Conte & Uno (2019) called Proximity Search. Finally we consider the extension problem, which consists in deciding if there exists a maximal induced subgraph satisfying a property Π that contains a set of prescribed vertices and that avoids another set of vertices. This paper proposes a novel nature-inspired meta-heuristic algorithm, named Snow Geese Algorithm. It is inspired by the migratory behavior of snow geese and emulates the distinctive "Herringbone" and "Straight Line" shaped flight patterns observed during their migration. The algorithm is structured into three main phases for benchmark testing. In the first phase, the Snow Geese Algorithm's numerical results are compared with those of several classical meta-heuristic algorithms using the same test functions and original data from these algorithms. In the second phase, in order to minimize potential variations during the comparison, all algorithms undergo evaluation on a standardized testing platform. In the third phase, this paper applies the Snow Geese Algorithm to solve four widely recognized engineering optimization problems: the tubular column design, piston lever optimization design, reinforced concrete beam design and car side impact design. These real-world engineering problems serve as test cases to assess Snow Geese Algorithm problem-solving capabilities. Considering the ubiquity of WiFi enabled devices and user's mobility, location privacy within WiFi networks is one of the focus points of many researchers. Preferred Network Lists (PNL), within which devices store a list of names of previously used hotspots - Service Set Identifiers (SSIDs), is transmitted in clear by a portion of devices as a part of WiFi connection protocol. PNL has proven to be one exceptionally interesting source of private data on user's previous whereabouts. However, since the PNL datasets are anonymized, most of the available work focuses on groups of users as opposed to one particular user. In this paper we work towards finding the name of the person behind the device's PNL. We introduce a novel SSID - location tag matching function, followed by an algorithm used for intersecting large PNL datasets with localization tags on Instagram social network. The algorithm enables us to match the user's MAC address and PNL with his full name, photos and activities. We find that deanonymization of a MAC address provides serious implications for potential long term tracking. We tested our work in real life conditions on a large scale music festival. Sometimes photographs can help participants speak about issues, events, thoughts and emotions which they find difficult to talk about. This paper discusses how photos can be used and how the data collected through their use in a discussion can be analysed using Correspondence Analysis (CA). In this paper, a pipeline leakage detection algorithm based on information fusion of pressure and flow is proposed, and its core work is the construction of BPA based on discount factors. The wavelet packet decomposition is carried out for the original signals, and the processed signals are used to train different SVM classifiers to achieve the first identification results. For the samples whose initial classification results are not completely consistent, BPA is calculated according to the confusion matrixes of the initial SVM classifiers. In this paper, static discount factors and dynamic discount factors are constructed using different methods, and dynamic discount factors are modified when decisions fail. Then comprehensive discount factors are constructed based on the combination of different static discount factors and dynamic discount factors. The Shafer discount rule is used to modify BPA. Finally, D-S evidence theory is used to fuse the BPA results of all classifiers under different discount combinations. Experiments show that this algorithm can effectively use the correlation of evidences to reasonably fuse the decision results of multiple sensors, overcome the problem that the accuracy of a single sensor is not high enough for leakage identification, and improve the identification accuracy of pipeline leakage. This paper investigates the convergence behavior of the Dirichlet-Neumann and Neumann-Neumann waveform relaxation algorithms for time-fractional sub-diffusion and diffusion-wave equations. The algorithms are applied to regular domains in 1D and 2D for multiple subdomains, and the impact of different constant values of the generalized diffusion coefficient on the algorithms' convergence is analyzed. The convergence rate of the algorithms is analyzed as the fractional order of the time derivative changes. The paper demonstrates that the algorithms exhibit slow superlinear convergence when the fractional order is close to zero, almost finite step convergence (exact finite step convergence for wave case) when the order approaches two, and faster superlinear convergence as the fractional order increases in between. The transitional nature of the algorithms' behavior is effectively captured through estimates with changes in the fractional order, and the results are verified by numerical experiments. To fill this gap, this paper extends a feature selection strategy that relies solely on correlation and redundant feature judgment, proposes a novel combined interval prediction algorithm, 3-Mcip (Combined Interval Prediction Based on Maximize Relevancy, Minimize Redundancy and Maximize Synergy) system, and solves the tradeoff between prediction accuracy and interval width. This system first designs a hybrid feature selection strategy to optimally select candidate variables and reduce model input redundancy. Secondly, the structure of the four ANN models is improved to accommodate the results of feature selection, and an optimization mechanism is introduced to search for the Pareto optimal solution set. In order to measure the comprehensive performance of the 3-Mcip system, hourly power load data and related candidate variables from Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C are considered. The numerical results show that the 3-Mcip system has coverage rates of 53.3333, 90.1667, and 99.4479 for Site 1 at different levels of interval width coefficients, which not only achieves perfect prediction of power load but also analyzes uncertainty. To enhance solution accuracy and training efficiency in neural network approximation to partial differential equations, partitioned neural networks can be used as a solution surrogate instead of a single large and deep neural network defined on the whole problem domain. In such a partitioned neural network approach, suitable interface conditions or subdomain boundary conditions are combined to obtain a convergent approximate solution. However, there has been no rigorous study on the convergence and parallel computing enhancement on the partitioned neural network approach. In this paper, iterative algorithms are proposed to enhance parallel computation performance in the partitioned neural network approximation. Our iterative algorithms are based on classical additive Schwarz domain decomposition methods. For the proposed iterative algorithms, their convergence is analyzed under an error assumption on the local and coarse neural network solutions. In this paper, we introduce two accelerated primal-dual methods tailored to address linearly constrained composite convex optimization problems, where the objective function is expressed as the sum of a possibly nondifferentiable function and a differentiable function with Lipschitz continuous gradient. The first method is the accelerated linearized augmented Lagrangian method (ALALM), which permits linearization to the differentiable function; the second method is the accelerated linearized proximal point algorithm (ALPPA), which enables linearization of both the differentiable function and the augmented term. By incorporating adaptive parameters, we demonstrate that ALALM achieves the O (1 / k 2) convergence rate and the linear convergence rate under the assumption of convexity and strong convexity, respectively. Additionally, we establish that ALPPA enjoys the O (1 / k) convergence rate in convex case and the O (1 / k 2) convergence rate in strongly convex case. Solution of sparse linear complementarity problem (LCP) has been widely discussed in many applications. In this paper, we consider the ℓ p regularization problem with nonnegative constraint for sparse LCP, and propose algorithms based on the iterative reweighted method to approach a sparse solution of the LCP, and then show the convergence to the stationary point of ℓ p regularization problem. Numerical results on simulated data exhibit an excellent performance of the proposed algorithms on approaching a sparse solution of the LCP. Finally, we apply this method to the frictional and frictionless contact problems. Novel view synthesis (NVS) of urban scenes enables the exploration of cities virtually and interactively, which can further be used for urban planning, navigation, digital tourism, etc. However, many current NVS methods require a large amount of images from known views as input and are sensitive to intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters. In this paper, we propose a new unified framework for NVS of urban scenes with fewer required views via the integration of scene priors and the joint optimization of camera parameters under an geometric constraint along with NeRF weights. The integration of scene priors makes full use of the priors from the neighbor reference views to reduce the number of required known views. The joint optimization can correct the errors in camera parameters, which are usually derived from algorithms like Structure-from-Motion (SfM), and then further improves the quality of the generated novel views. Experiments show that our method achieves about 25. 375 dB and 25. 512 dB in average in terms of peak signal-to-noise (PSNR) on synthetic and real data, respectively. It outperforms popular state-of-the-art methods (i.e., BungeeNeRF and MegaNeRF) by about 2– 4 dB in PSNR. Notably, our method achieves better or competitive results than the baseline method with only one third of the known view images required for the baseline. Real-time control systems of macro-micro manipulators commonly confront time-delay challenges to achieve high precision and synchronization performance, because macro and micro subsystems always have significant difference mainly in mechanical inertia. In this paper, a self-designed PC-based real-time controller utilized in laser on-the-fly processing is introduced as a study case of macro-micro systems. A dynamic time-delay compensation method for this case is proposed based on efficient fuzzy-model prediction and special data compression/extension algorithm. This method takes account of the practical time-delay fluctuation and has capability of adjusting the compensator adaptively rather than fixing the compensator as a constant, compared with the conventional static compensation. Experimental results show that, after applying the dynamic compensation, the process error caused by time-delay is eliminated from 1.059 mm to 0.001 mm, while the quality of synchronization appears even better than the static compensation with the error of 0.014 mm. In this paper, we study a class of nonconvex and nonsmooth fractional optimization problem, where the numerator of which is the sum of a nonsmooth and nonconvex function and a relative smooth nonconvex function, while the denominator is relative weakly convex nonsmooth function. We propose a Bregman proximal subgradient algorithm for solving this type of fractional optimization problems. Under moderate conditions, we prove that the subsequence generated by the proposed algorithm converges to a critical point, and the generated sequence globally converges to a critical point when the objective function satisfies the Kurdyka-Łojasiewicz property. We also obtain the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm. Finally, two numerical experiments illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the algorithm. In this paper, we propose a novel rank-adaptive higher-order orthogonal iteration (RA-HOOI) algorithm to solve the fixed-accuracy low multilinear-rank approximation of tensors. On the one hand, RA-HOOI relies on a greedy strategy to expand the subspace, which avoids computing the full SVD of the matricization of the input tensor. On the other hand, the new rank-adaptive strategy introduced in the RA-HOOI algorithm enables the obtained truncation to be more accurate. A series of numerical experiments related to synthetic and real-world tensors are carried out to show that the proposed RA-HOOI algorithm is comparable to state-of-the-art methods in terms of both accuracy and efficiency and performs better in certain situations. In this paper, we propose a second-order adaptive DLN algorithm with different subdomain variable time steps for the 3D closed-loop geothermal system. Theoretically, the stability and convergence of the algorithm in the case of variable time steps are analyzed. In numerical experiments, the DLN algorithm is combined with an adaptive algorithm to verify not only its effectiveness and second-order convergence under any arbitrary sequence of time steps but also to improve computational efficiency. We overcome the difficulty of 3D programming, and verify the applicability and accuracy of the proposed algorithm by simulating the flow characteristics and heat transfer of the closed-loop geothermal system with 3D convection. In this paper, a novel non-convex fractional-order image denoising model is proposed to suppress the staircase effect produced by the TV model while maintaining a neat contour. The model combines ℓ q (0 < q < 1) quasi-norm and fractional-order regularization, and employs a diffusion coefficient with a faster convergence rate to preserve more image edges and details. Additionally, an adaptive regularization parameter is designed to adjust the denoising performance of the algorithm. This paper explains the construction of a novel augmented hunger games search algorithm using a logarithmic spiral opposition-based learning technique. The proposed algorithm (LsOBL-HGS) is used as an efficient tool for both function optimization and controller design. To assess the performance of the algorithm for function optimization, benchmark functions from the CEC2017 test suite were employed and comparisons were made with available and good performing algorithms. In terms of controller design, the proposed LsOBL-HGS algorithm was utilized to design a FOPID controlled magnetic ball suspension system. Comparative assessments were also performed for FOPID controller design, as well using other state-of-the-art methods reported for the magnetic ball suspension system. The results showed that the proposed LsOBL-HGS algorithm has good capability for FOPID controller design employed in a magnetic ball suspension system as it provided an improvement of more than 13 % in terms of the transient response-related parameters and more than 34 % in terms of bandwidth compared to the best-reported approach used for comparisons. Within the field of forensic science, video integrity is an essential component that ensures the validity and dependability of visual evidence that is essential for court cases. Maintaining the integrity of justice in a time when digital modification tools are easily accessible requires making sure that video recordings are unaltered. Video footage is carefully inspected by forensic analysts who use advanced tools to look for indications of manipulation or change. This paper presents a novel, lightweight approach for verifying the integrity of video data. The proposed method utilizes the blockchain and the Edwards Curve Digital Signature Algorithm, coupled with the BLAKE2b hash function. Signatures are generated for video clips with a predetermined size called video segments and stored in blocks chronologically. The signature of the previous block is stored in the current block to add another layer of security. At the time of validation, these signatures are verified. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both speed and security. Our method is capable of identifying any type of forgery on any video file, by anyone, at any given moment, with insignificant additional storage requirements. Furthermore, our security analysis shows that our method is resilient against various types of attacks, including collision attacks, key substitution attacks, side-channel attacks, and chosen message attacks. The increase in the number of vehicles on roads has compounded the difficulty in parking them when people go out for movies, shopping, theatre, etc. Thus, this paper proposes smart parking system. The reservation of the parking slots can be made using this proposed smart parking system. Unlike the methods proposed in the existing research, the system proposed in this paper divides the parking area into 3 parts. One for conventional parking, one for vehicles with reservation and the other for the vehicles with and without reservation. Learning automata is used in the proposed system to determine the percentage of the parking area for conventional parking. In general, the proportionate of the slots for reserved parking, conventional parking and common slots need to be assumed. Learning Automata helps in determining this proportionate optimally. The AES-256 encryption algorithm is used to provide security for the details provided by the user during reservation process. Goodput value is maintained for each vehicle which increases or decreases the chances of getting a reservation. The time limit for the reservation of the parking slot is also maintained after which the reservation gets cancelled automatically. Markov Model is used to represent the system. The performance of the proposed algorithm, Learning Automata and Reservation based Secure Smart Parking System (LA-RSSPS) is simulated and evaluated in terms of average waiting time, search time, the probability with which the vehicles do not get parking slot when they do not have reservation and the probability with which the vehicles do not get reservation and is compared with ProNet and iERS. Generally, the central air conditioners are centralized in a refrigeration room in public buildings. The proportion of energy consumption of the refrigeration room is about 40% of entire building. This paper aims to propose an energy plus and self-designed simulator to reduce the energy consumption of a large electronic factory in Zhuhai City, Guangdong province, China. In this paper, the real data collected from the electronic factory in February and the group control method used in the refrigeration room based on the kernel ridge regression algorithm. The correctness of the kernel ridge regression algorithm was verified with the experimental results. Compared to traditional PID control method, the kernel ridge regression algorithm could dynamically adjust those parameters, such as temperature and frequency to match the high efficiency zone of each device. The overall average COP of the system is increased from 4.17 to 7.04. The electricity of the refrigeration room could save 64 MWh with the cooling load forecast error being below 7% in February. p , q -quasirung orthopair fuzzy set (p , q -QOFS) is an extension of the q -rung orthopair fuzzy set (q -ROFS) theory used to represent uncertainty and vagueness in decision-making processes. The paper aims to utilize robust sine-trigonometric operational laws to investigate the group decision-making process within the p , q -QOFSs framework. The p , q -QOFS possess a distinctive characteristic of handling uncertain information by utilizing a wider space for membership representation compared to q -ROFS. Consequently, the current paper has been categorized into three distinct phases. In the initial phase, novel operational laws will be presented for p , q -QOFSs. The fundamental concept behind these newly proposed operations is to integrate the properties of the sine function, which include being periodic and symmetric about the origin, into the decision-making process for objects. Then, based on these laws, several operators for aggregating information will be obtained, along with their necessary properties and relationships. Lastly, an algorithm will be presented for interpreting the problem of multi attribute group decision-making (MAGDM), utilizing the operators, and demonstrating it with an illustrative example. As is known, the problem of finding a three-dimensional stable matching with cyclic preferences (3DSM-CYC) always has a solution, if the number of objects of each type (i.e., the problem size n) does not exceed 5. According to the conjecture proposed by Eriksson et al. (2006), this is true for any n. However, Lam and Plaxton (2019) have proposed an algorithm for constructing preference lists in 3DSM-CYC which has allowed them to disprove the mentioned conjecture. The size of the initially constructed counterexample equals 90; however, according to the results obtained by us recently for the problem with incomplete preference lists, one can use the same construction for getting a counterexample of size 45. The main contribution of this paper consists of reducing the size of the counterexample to n = 20. We summarize results of the application of the technique developed by us for constructing counterexamples for 3DSM-CYC.
