The article presents several case studies which demonstrates the practical achievements of Global Partnership. The case studies include Elimination of Weapons-Grade Plutonium Production (EWGPP) programme, the Chernobyl Shelter project, and the Shchuch'ye chemical weapons destruction programme. Moreover, achievements of the collaboration at Andreeva Bay include safe and secure removal of the spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and good working relations between partner countries and agencies.

There is a danger among western communities that one day the U.S. will conclude that Europe is of no use geopolitically or culturally. According to United states National Intelligence Council report the country does not see the European Union (EU) as an emerging centre of power in an increasingly multipolar world. However, the EU style supranationalism does not feature in it.

It highlights several issues that led to social unrest in East European countries and their alliance with Western Countries by gaining membership to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). It states that it was the result of Russia's insensitivity to repeated efforts, rather than the West's reluctance, to solve the crisis, which led to its disintegration.
