A paradigm shift is currently underway with the emergence of the Collections as Data movement, which advocates the creation and dissemination of cultural heritage collections that are amenable to large‐scale computation to empower both collection managers and users. Although this discourse is beginning to gain some traction in the literature, critical evidence‐based assessments of the opportunities and risks of this process are underexplored. This paper presents the results of a content analysis of the official position statements (n = 83) produced in the Collections as Data forums and written by international professionals working with digital collections. Although preliminary, the analysis presented and discussed here sheds light on the initial reception of the idea of Collections as Data and its articulation in practice. The study represents the first systematic attempt to explore the complexities of the intersection of ethics and artificial intelligence in the context of cultural heritage, aiming at providing a valuable precedent for further elaboration and discussion. Scientific breakthroughs have the potential to revolutionize the course of research and shape the trajectory of scientific knowledge. This study investigates the characteristics of Disruptive Citing Papers (DCP) and Consolidating Citing Papers (CCP) associated with Nobel‐winning scientific breakthroughs, aiming to provide insights into the mechanisms of knowledge creation and dissemination. By analyzing a dataset of Nobel‐winning papers and their citation networks, we find that Nobel‐winning papers tend to attract a higher proportion of DCP compared to CCP. However, CCP exhibit a higher impact, as evidenced by their citation counts and likelihood of becoming hit papers. Furthermore, DCP are associated with larger research teams, highlighting the collaborative nature of disruptive research, while CCP employ a higher degree of professional language style characterized by shorter titles and specialized jargon. These findings deepen our understanding of the role played by disruptive and consolidating impact in scientific breakthroughs, shedding light on the dynamics of knowledge creation and dissemination in the scientific community. New media platforms have enhanced the efficiency and diversity of information dissemination, providing new possibilities for the dissemination and promotion of academic papers. Currently, a large number of Chinese academic journals from different disciplines have established WeChat official accounts to promote their papers. This study examines WeChat official accounts from three disciplines: social sciences, natural sciences, and medicine. We analyze the existing paper promotion methods employed by these academic journal official accounts from four dimensions: content presentation format, number of papers promoted in a single post, interactive forms, and publishing time. The findings reveal that the current promotion methods for academic papers on WeChat official accounts are relatively limited, with low utilization of multimedia content. Data papers, a new class of scholarly publication emerging from the open‐science movement, foster data discovery and reuse by offering comprehensive descriptions of research data. Yet, despite their promising growth, the role of data papers in scholarly communication remains underexplored. This work therefore investigates the perceived contributions and functions of data papers to scholarly communication by interviewing 14 data‐paper authors operating in the field of natural science. Using conceptual frameworks adopted from Borgman (2007) and Van de Sompel et al. (2004), we identify four general functions of scholarly communication (i.e., legitimization; dissemination; access, preservation, and curation; and rewarding). Additionally, our data lead us to propose that verification is a distinct scholarly communication, underscoring the importance of data papers in validating research findings in the context of ensuring research transparency. By elucidating the crucial role that data papers now play within the scholarly communication ecosystem, this study seeks to raise the academic community's awareness of their fundamental position, as well as their co‐existence with other forms of data publication, in advancing scientific research. In scientific social networks, group information has become an important auxiliary information to enhance the performance of paper recommendation, as many researchers prefer to obtain interested papers by joining groups. However, the existing paper recommendation methods failed to make full use of group information. In this paper, a paper recommendation method considering group information with multi-graph attention fusion network (GI-MGAF) is proposed. Specifically, in the graph construction layer, we construct researcher-paper bipartite graph, group-researcher bipartite graph and group-paper bipartite graph. In the information propagation layer, graph attention networks (GAT) are used to learn the node representations on the constructed bipartite graphs. In the information fusion layer, the researcher-level attention and paper-level attention are developed to respectively fuse the representations of researchers and papers. The prize for recent successes in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been black-box models with lack of algorithmic transparency. Especially the use of deep learning algorithms for machine learning tasks have produced opaque systems, which escape explanation of how results are provided. Apparently, AI-developers have been more occupied with creating powerful AI systems than with ensuring explainability. On this backdrop, this work in progress paper presents preliminary reflections and argues that interpretability viewed as transparency wrt system functionality does not necessarily bring explanatory clarity, whereas interpretability in the shape of post hoc explainability may work by giving reasons for why the system reacted in a certain way without full reference to its inner workings and black-box models. Hence, interpretability understood as post hoc explanations may satisfy a request for epistemic transparency. Still, future work on the paper is needed to clarify the degree to which the demand for interpretability can be ethically satisfied in the light of epistemic opacity. Moreover, it is generally acknowledged that explainability is pivotal to foster trust in AI. Therefore, the notion of trust is clarified by pointing to a distinction between trust as a fundamental condition in all human interaction and reliance as reflecting rational confidence in others or artifacts. The discourse on Employee-Driven Innovation (EDI) centers on the initial stages of the EDI process: idea generation, evaluation and implementation However, a research gap exists concerning the internal structure of the EDI process - specifically, its phases and influencing factors. In this paper, the phenomenon of EDITRANSOR - transition of EDI into Organizational Routine (OR) is presented. Preliminary findings, drawn from two distinct cases, center on exploring the internal structure of EDITRANSOR and the factors that influence it. By employing a case study method, the research extends the understanding of the EDI process in three significant ways. Firstly, it highlights the EDITRANSOR phases, with the unexplored phase of EDI solidification into OR. Secondly, it demonstrates categories of factors enabling and impeding the process. Thirdly, it suggests that factors vary across EDITRANSOR phases. This paper addresses and investigates ways in which knowledge creation in a local textile ecosystem can have an impact on global business. The starting point is the co-creation of a local R&D micro factory. The purpose is to research the application of recycled local textile resources to production aiming to slowing down the use of virgin materials. Theoretically, the paper draws on theories on knowledge creation, including theories on embodied and tacit knowledge. This paper aims to understand how higher education institutions (HEIs) can support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups to become more sustainable through aligning more closely with the ISO 56002:2019 standard on Innovation Management Systems. The paper utilises an international study with data gathered through semi-structured interviews with eight (n=8) case companies from five (n=5) countries across numerous industries. Preliminary results show HEIs can greatly support and play a large role in facilitating the green transition and sustainability activities of SMEs and start-ups. Results indicate understanding a company's innovation management system by both the company and the HEI involved improves the effectiveness of the provided support and its resulting impact on increasing the innovative sustainability capacity. The recycling technology for spent lithium-ion batteries is critical for achieving a circular economy since it transforms hazardous wastes into valuable resources. Technology opportunities refer to the potential for technological progress in a technology field. Based on the perspective of technology opportunity analysis, this study focuses on identifying the technology opportunities of lithium-ion battery recycling technology by exploring the knowledge gaps between scientific and technological publications of the technology. This study improves the previous framework by using a deep learning-based clustering approach and introducing the Latent Dirichlet Allocation approach to identify the knowledge topics. The findings indicate that the scientific knowledge of recycling and preparing anode materials and the management and monitoring of the batteries need to be applied further in technological development. Cities have been studied as a platform for sustainability transformation and social innovation, mainly focusing on environmental sustainability and emphasizing governance and citizen roles as transition actors. Previous studies have paid limited attention to the social aspects of sustainability and the role of business organizations as producers of socially targeted innovation. Our study develops a framework for the identification of social sustainability impacts of communal neighborhoods. Considering the residents' collaborative efforts for creating the sense of community, this paper explores whether the concept of social innovation is useful in conceptualizing the social sustainability impacts of communal neighborhoods. We use the framework to illustrate initial findings of a case analysis of two Finnish communal neighborhood concepts. In times of parallel transformations, it is crucial for companies to bundle and link different types of knowledge and make it available to employees in a targeted way. This conference paper proposes a fourfold approach in which the organisational culture and the mind-set of the employees play an equally important role in KM as the organisational framework of KM, and the tool-set and skill-set of a company. Our EU-funded project, conducted in Jönköping County, Sweden from 2021-2023, aimed to advance AI in the local business sector through collaboration between academia, industry, and business promotion systems. Using a stepwise approach, we transitioned 88 companies from basic AI knowledge to implementing AI functions. This included assessing AI maturity and developing tailored educational materials. Collaborating with Jönköping University, we engaged 19 SMEs, integrating real-world AI challenges with academic courses. Emphasizing sustainable and ethical AI practices, we educated companies on possible alternatives to AI usage. This paper aims to explore how organisational ambidexterity development is linked to a systematic approach to managing innovation. Specifically, it focuses on the adoption of Innovation Management Systems, such as the recently developed ISO 56002. Therefore, this paper presents preliminary results of a planned exploratory research focusing on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), which will be carried out as a longitudinal international project. The research will be conducted in several European and Canadian Small SMEs with a series of semi-structured interviews. The preliminary results of our pilot cases based on 6 organizations reveal that SMEs are open to the systematic approach to innovation capability development and display systematic tendency for some capabilities, such as collaboration and leadership. In this paper we discuss how digital transformation in finance is leading to increased focus on customer-centricity. We describe how this is often understood as data-driven innovation based on quantitative collection and analysis of digital customer information. We explore the potential of using qualitative data to understand customer contexts and pain points. We share research that illustrates how quantitative data can overlook important knowledge about customers' decision-making and customers' use of different financial solutions, while it can underestimate customers' ability to manage new technological solutions. We recommend that financial service providers extend their innovation toolbox to include qualitative research methods and that they build a customer centric research culture. This paper examines the relationship between entrepreneurial education and action, emphasizing the complexity of transitioning from education to entrepreneurial journey. Highlighting the significance of universities in fostering entrepreneurship, it underscores the necessity of educational programs extending beyond traditional business education. Drawing from various theoretical frameworks, including Shapero and Sokol's Entrepreneurial Event Model and Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behaviour, the paper proposes an Intention Model to elucidate the transition from opportunity identification to intention formation and subsequent entrepreneurial action. Through a combination of literature review and empirical research, the study explores the impact of entrepreneurship education on graduates' entrepreneurial actions, shedding light on factors such as personal desirability, social norms, and perceived efficacy. Conversational agents (CAs), which communicate naturally with humans, are being developed and employed for a variety of tasks. Interactions between humans and CAs induce affect, which is vital to the adoption and performance of CAs. Yet, there is a lack of cumulative understanding of existing research on affect in human-CA interaction. Motivated thus, this article presents a systematic review of empirical IS and HCI studies on such affect, its antecedents and consequences. Besides conducting descriptive analysis of the studies, we also divide them into two broad categories - emotion-related, and those related to other (more persistent) affective responses. We present organizing frameworks for both categories, which complement each other. Through the review and frameworks, we contribute towards attaining a holistic understanding of extant research on human-CA interaction, identifying gaps in prior knowledge, and outlining future research directions. As global consumers increasingly prioritize sustainability, industries are compelled to explore innovative solutions. This research paper investigates the potential of keg wine as a sustainable innovation addressing ecological, social, and economic goals. Despite alternative packaging options like bag-inbox and cans, the wine industry largely relies on glass bottles, contributing to a significant carbon footprint. Leveraging the sustainability-oriented service innovation (SOSI) tool, this study analyzes keg wine as a solution for sustainable wine production, distribution, and consumption. Through a joint research including life cycle assessments, the environmental benefits of keg wine over glass bottles are demonstrated. Moreover, market studies reveal restaurateurs' and consumers' favorable attitudes towards keg wine, driven by economic savings and ecological consciousness. This research contributes methodologically, theoretically, and empirically to understanding and promoting sustainable innovations in the wine industry, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between researchers and industry professionals for a more sustainable future. The automotive industry is undergoing challenging technological transformations, which have recently been further intensified by the emergence of Chinese newcomers who have the potential to become significant competitors in the electrification race, thereby challenging the dominance of incumbent manufacturing companies. This paper delves into the potential challenges posed by Chinese players and explores how automotive industry incumbents are navigating the transformative shift towards electrification. In doing so, we adopt an evolutionary perspective grounded in the conceptual frameworks of the three-dimensional window of opportunity and dynamic capabilities. The research design is based on a qualitative methodology and a narrative approach. The results highlight the advantages of Chinese players based on the multidimensional window of opportunities, and the implications suggest ways for incumbents to potentially defend their positions. This paper delves into the dynamics of technological competition from the perspectives of Innovation Ecosystems (IE) and Platform Ecosystems (PE). Through a systematic literature review, we contrast and compare these two theoretical lenses in understanding technological competition. Innovation Ecosystems focus on the interdependencies among organizations and their impact on core innovations, while Platform Ecosystems emphasize how interactions between platform owners, complementors, and users shape competitive landscapes. We propose an integrated research framework based on the characteristics of ecosystem structure (strong vs. weak) and technological architecture (general vs. proprietary) to explore the nature of technological competition across different ecosystems. Our analysis reveals the complexity and multidimensionality of technological competition within and across ecosystems, offering insights for strategists and policymakers in crafting strategies. Digital technologies and data are necessary enablers when it comes to measuring, monitoring and verifying the climate impacts of agricultural processes. As the availability of data has significantly increased due to the rapid development of sensor technologies, the enablers of data-assisted decisionmaking in agriculture have improved. Timely and informed decision-making at farm level not only increases productivity and profitability, it also facilitates climate-smart production. The goal of this paper is to improve understanding of farmers' expectations and needs regarding data-driven decision-making and investigate what kind of data transfer interface would be useful for farmers to assist their decision-making. This paper also presents an application prototype, called FarmerApp, that could assist farmers in making informed decisions based on their farming activities as part of climate-smart agriculture. Digital transformation has emerged as a critical strategy in today's dynamic business environment. However, the high failure rate of digital transformation initiatives underscores the need for a deeper understanding of success factors. This study conducts a comprehensive examination of digital transformation success factors through a systematic literature review. Assessing 34 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2017 and 2023, the study evaluates research areas, temporal trends, geographical distributions, journals, significant keywords and main authors based on co-authorship, using bibliometric analysis. It unveils the current digital transformation research landscape, synthesises 119 enabling factors into 13 primary success factors and presents a new holistic digital transformation model. This model offers valuable guidance for organisations navigating transformation challenges, contributing significantly to both academic discourse and practitioners in this field. With a present sense of urgency in taking actions towards sustainable development and the 17 goals, it is necessary to create functional partnerships in society. This study will discuss the university-industry collaboration (UIC), which we suggest needs new prerequisites. The innovation management problem we address is: How can UIC be organized to support transformative innovation? This paper will focus on understanding the expectations of different organizations of collaboration, new forms of working together, and incentives to support this transition. Data comes from two parallel surveys, based on the UIC framework from Ankrah & Tabbaa (2015). Tentative results show that expectations are of importance but vary, with industry waiting for academia to both address and progress with the SDGs while academia suggests industry to be leading the development. Respondents propose ideas concerning mutual learning rather than knowledge transfer. However, the incentives for creating such UIC conditions appear to be lacking. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The origins of radical innovation are not well understood. Described as the "fuzzy front end", successful innovation is typically recognised only in hindsight, obscuring the process through which it emerged. Sarasvathy's (2001) and later work on effectuation shows clear patterns in how successful entrepreneurs think, but offers few details on how they learned to defy conventional wisdom in management theory. This paper draws on a coproduced auto ethnographical study of how 8 student teams in Higher Education delivered radically innovative products (products unlike anything currently on offer). It draws on education theory and neuroscience, specifically situated cognition and the learning paradox arguing that radical innovation emerges in co-creation through interactions between cognitively diverse people in a complex adaptive system. This paper draws attention to commercialization projects carried out at the university and the interaction of academic and business experts in project meetings. It demonstrates how structural and socially agreed power relations are involved in the process in which scientists and industry and innovation experts make sense of commercialization and actively prepare commercialization activities for research-driven innovations. Adopting the heuristics of critical sensemaking, the research claims that university-business cooperation has little impact on translating science into business if the cooperation remains at the level of meetings and occasional interaction. This is often the case in specific research to business projects. The present paper examines the phenomenon of "Sciencefluencing", meaning the use of Social Media for science communication in Germany. It investigates the role of Social Media, with a focus on Instagram, in communicating science and research to a broader public, which is not well investigated yet. Previous studies focused mainly on Twitter or other forms of online media, e.g. blogs. This study aims at filling the gap. In order to achieve that, a study is conducted including qualitative interviews with scientists and, based on the results of those, a quantitative survey that aims at understanding the use of Social Media for science communication from scientists in Germany. The theoretical framework is made up of theories of influencer marketing, opinion leadership and parasocial relations. The focus on Instagram stems from its broad relevance in the general population. Evaluating organisational performance in relation to the Circular Economy (CE) has become increasingly important, yet the literature highlights certain limitations of micro-level CE indicators, such as the lack of a widely accepted method for measuring CE in both academia and industry. Among various Performance Management Systems (PMSs), the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) stands out as one of the most widely used by organisations, offering a more comprehensive perspective beyond purely financial metrics. Therefore, this paper aims to explore how CE measurement can be combined with organisational strategy assessment using the BSC. To achieve this, a theoretical framework that defines Circular Balanced Scorecard (CBSC) archetypes and integrates them with CE indicators is proposed. Including environmental aspects in the digital Supply Chain (SC) transformation of large, medium, and small size enterprises is a complex procedure involving interactions between internal and external organizations, requiring future proof and cost-efficient decision making based on the available knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to review the occurrence and importance of the environmental aspects in available research literature, critically review their significance in assessing the enterprise maturity, and find gaps preventing implementation of the environmental aspects. As reference the occurrence of environmental themes as part of the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and as one of the three pillars of sustainability are used. It can be proven environmental themes cover ~20% of the TOE area publications. How can workplace innovation be measured in a self-producing innovation system with autonomous and limited employee behavior? Seeking answer to this question this study begins with an inquiry on workplace innovation as high involvement in innovation of all employees (HII). HII's framework, is further refined through the intersection of autopoiesis, emphasizes self-creation among employees while acknowledge the necessity of controlling employee behavior. The intersection lays the foundation for the developed conceptual model. Utilizing a mixed method with multiple case study of 32 regional firms, the paper demonstrates the concepts in practice. The primary contribution is measurement of a firm's workplace innovation capacity, grounded in its capabilities and daily routines for employee behavior. The findings suggest a construct that aids to identifying management style intentions, balancing top-down and bottom-up approaches to explain employees' involvement in innovation as autonomous or limited, with the added dimension of self-creating or autopoietic employee behavior. Generating and maintaining competitive advantage in today's hypercompetitive and globalized market environment becomes increasingly challenging. Innovative approaches are essential to differentiate from competitors and to preserve company performance. Context-oriented innovation approaches provide companies with a choice of suitable process models and methodology to conduct innovation projects while taking the context into account. The current paper aims to operationalize the contextoriented innovation approach in form of a decision-making framework called 'Smart-Innovation-Cube'. The framework allows to select and adapt processes and methods according to the three influential context factors 'External Change', 'Internal Change' and 'Path Dependency'. By applying the framework companies can chose appropriate processes and methods to increase the innovation efficiency. The paper discusses the potential of transitioning towards sustainable sociotechnical systems by renovating existing houses, through services contracts for homeowners. It proposes a shift from ownership to a "right of use" model for house heating applied to heat pumps. heat pumps in economics of functionality are a total novelty for the demand side such that suppliers face uncertain user demand for a service with composite content. This approach aims to extend equipment lifespan, reduce energy consumption, and align with sustainable development goals. The study surveyed 4000 French homeowners to gauge their receptivity to service contract applied to heat pumps. Four groups were identified: those interested in circular aspects, those seeking full services contracts, those focused on professional advice, and those uninterested in any propositions. This paper presents research conducted by the Erasmus+ project InnoGreen (Innovative entrepreneurs leading green businesses) related to business model innovation, green practices and sustainability. Sixty interviews were conducted with entrepreneurs in eight European countries. This led to the identification of 159 triggers or characteristics of innovative green practices. The aim of the paper, which emerged from the data collected, is to describe innovative green practices and to demonstrate how these may be used to motivate others to increase their sustainability. A critique of business model canvases is followed by the rationale for developing a green business innovation canvas. Some examples of the innovative green practices that emerged from the research, including the Green Business Innovation Canvas and a list of 'triggers', are presented, together with a discussion on key success factors for the implementation of innovative green practices. The advent of digital transformation and the emergence of servitisation have fundamentally altered our understanding and evaluation of innovation, especially in the realm of advising innovation policy. Within this context, the significance of data in studying innovation cannot be overstated. However, the proliferation of data sources poses a formidable challenge for scholars in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) research, who must navigate through various options to select the most appropriate data sources. This paper examines both the opportunities and constraints associated with traditional and emerging approaches to STI data, shedding light on their utilisation within the field. Notably, it delves into the utilisation of patent and bibliometrics data alongside newer market-driven real-time sources, proposing further development of more dynamic data-driven taxonomies. Product development success relies on interdisciplinary communication in order to be cost effective and efficient. This paper presents a new modular system designed to enhance communication and streamline workflows among professionals from varied backgrounds, using Bosch Power Tools' product range as a case study. The methodology is built on a three-step approach: Starting with qualitative interviews, requirements for a modular communication platform focusing on prototype fidelity are established. Thereafter, a solution is developed to include developers at various product development stages, promoting unrestricted idea exchange through a new modular system built on an analysis of the product portfolio. In a third methodological step, through an expert workshop, the new concept is evaluated. This system supports rapid communication and ergonomic discussion, adapting to different development phases and thus underscores the significance of integrating diverse perspectives to improve communication and leverage specialized knowledge effectively. Finding a great idea for an opportunity with a low potential is a waste of creative resources and talents. Yet, opportunity recognition cruelly lacks attention in innovation processes, methods, and research. We propose in this paper a new method, which we called Design by Impact. The Design by Impact method allows for systematic opportunity recognition and idea optimization through maximization of the Impact of the solution, that is, the difference made by the choice of this new solution over another for all actors. This paper presents how Design by Impact operates, from the deterministic analytical opportunity recognition, to the idea generation and the optimization of both the ecosystemic insertion and organic propagation of the idea generated. Currently, Living Labs are evaluated in multiple different ways which is hampering comparison. This paper proposes a harmonized method combining various elements (6 chapters, 15 criteria and 34 KPIs), mainly based on the standardized evaluation framework developed by Vervoort et al. (2022) for evaluating the diverse types of Living Labs. Such a harmonized approach will help to simplify evaluation processes and will allow to compare the stability and maturity of LLs in a uniform manner. The premise is that creating a harmonized assessment method will increase the sustainability of Living Labs by providing them a method that allows comparison of the maturity of multiple types of Living Labs without losing sight of the particularities of individual Living Labs within their specific contexts. Open-Source Software (OSS), known for its collaborative development and transparent access to source code, provides an effective way for businesses to achieve community-driven innovation, improved security, cost-efficiency, rapid prototyping, and customization. Despite of such benefits, the use of OSS has not yet reached the expected levels. This paper describes activities and outcomes of a recent R&D project that sought to strengthen companies' change- and innovation capabilities by offering them consultancy, guidance, and training for utilizing OSS in their business and digitalization development efforts. During the project, industry needs were gathered, and OSS solutions were proposed for companies' identified needs. Based on the experiences of collaborating with businesses, and on a survey exploring current understanding of OSS opportunities and competence needs, the project planned for an establishment of regional Open-Source Competence Centre. This paper presents a case study describing the design of SwageXR, an augmented reality (AR) application that gamifies a tubing assembly exercise. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the field of extended reality (XR) applications by providing a case study of a novel design process based on an existing framework by Gilardi et al. Design needs and requirements were gathered using a contextual design approach and qualitative research through interviews with training course instructors as well as a workshop involving them. The contextual design approach involved the PI taking part in the training course as one of the trainees to observe and build understanding of the taught practical content and the context in which the learning happened. This was followed by semi-structured interviews with 4 training instructors, with results indicating preferred course content to digitise, early concepts for gamification, and the storyline of the gamified content with respect to existing training. Using the data and experience gained from the contextual design approach and interviews, a paper prototype of the gamified AR application was developed, and feedback was obtained from the company technical director. The paper prototype and feedback were used as a basis for developing a 3D prototype in VR using ShapesXR. This led to a virtual reality (VR) workshop involving the technical director and training manager of the company where the 3D prototype was demonstrated and discussed. The workshop resulted in the flow of the overall application being refined including the storyline, gamification, training, and challenges. The design process aims to facilitate the development of a coded working prototype for SwageXR, with gamification elements such as score, time-based challenges and leaderboards. An initial experience playtest with course trainees will then be possible to gain insight on engagement levels and trainee attitudes about the initial game experience. The main outcome of this research is a design approach that tries to address the gap outlined by Krauß et al., the approach makes use of rehearsal techniques and virtual reality to provide context for AR application design. This paper aims to select the AI-based methods that have the potential to be adapted for the assessment of the European Union R&I policy impact on the member states' innovation performance. A structured scientific literature analysis is employed to review the most recent 1,544 papers published in the Web of Science database from 2017 to 2021. The primary findings reveal that there is a growing interest in the usage of artificial and computational intelligence, seeking to improve the decision-making processes. Such methods as Bayesian neural network, fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis, self-organizing neural maps, multi-output neural networks, and data envelopment analysis can be well-applicable for the case of the European Union research and innovation investment efficiency evaluation. As the construction industry heads towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the gap widens between industry demands and fresh graduate capabilities. Much of this is owed to the traditional Construction Management (CM) pedagogy. Therefore, there is a pressing need for a paradigm shift in our approach towards CM education. As such, to meet both industry demands and student expectations, integrating game-based learning (GBL) can substantially enhance the learning experience for CM students in higher education. Although the body of knowledge recognises Game-Based Learning (GBL) as tools that facilitate active learning in engineering disciplines in general, their utilisation remains limited in construction management. Thus, the aim of this paper is to conduct a systematic literature review of past GBL studies in Construction Management via Scopus database with an attempt to classify these studies into three broad categories: Tabletop games, digital games, and computer-assisted games. First, this paper will explain the key features, strengths, and limitations of each category. Second, this paper will identify the trends in game characteristics, learning objectives, data collection methods, and game evaluation approaches. Finally, this paper will present a classification framework that summarises the findings to facilitate selecting effective GBL strategies for CM higher education. The aim of the paper is to examine enablers and blockers of orchestrating the evolution of innovation ecosystems' by contrasting with empirical evidence on four innovation (eco)systems in water technology clusters. Further than identifying the key enablers and blockers, we also categorised them in four theoretical layers of orchestration. This way we were able to apply and integrate existing theoretical concepts and frameworks in a novel way. Users are regularly highlighted as a potential source of innovation (von Hippel, 1988, 2016, Bogers et al, 2010) but although they have considerable potential for enhancing both the front end of innovation and its downstream diffusion there are still questions about this approach. Whilst 'lead users; may well be willing and able to contribute their valuable insights there is a large gap between their involvement and the larger population of users who have the potential to contribute. This research paper aims to explore the impact of resources, dynamic capabilities, and strategic orientation on innovation as well as growth within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Specifically, we have developed eight theoretical constructs as research models, integrating a range of organizational factors that influence the innovation capabilities of SMEs and, consequently, their growth potential. Entrepreneurial ecosystems have developed into an interesting field of research that is attracting a significant amount of academic attention. Nevertheless, practical experience shows that not all ecosystems are equally successful. This paper analyses the success factors of six different ecosystems. Using a methodology that combines in-depth content analysis and expert interviews in a multiple case study, we identify and compare the specific factors that determine the success of these ecosystems. By identifying which factors are transferable across different contexts and which are unique to specific ecosystems, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how entrepreneurial ecosystems can be effectively designed and cultivated. This submission focuses on the values influencing innovativeness of Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania - and Poland. The main focus is put on comparative analysis in the field of influential values, specific for each analyzed state, that have an impact on its innovativeness. Research is based mainly on the data from statistical summaries (EIS, GII, GSCI) that include several dimensions of innovation and sustainable competitiveness. The research emphasizes high differentiation in values influencing the innovativeness in individual countries and their importance depending on the country. Also, it confirms that there is no single recipe for innovation since the pace of innovation development in subsequently analyzed countries depends on different factors.
