Abstract
Back-to-front, show-through, or bleeding are the names given to the overlapping interference whenever a document is written (or printed) on both sides of a translucent paper. Such interference makes more difficult, if not impossible, document transcription and binarization. This paper presents a new technique to filter out such interference in color documents, enhancing their readability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
