En las últimas décadas ha habido un interés creciente en el rol de los lazos sociales y los recursos que estos proveen a cada clase social. Estudios recientes alrededor del mundo han mostrado a partir de la metodología del generador de posiciones que el capital social se distribuye desigualmente entre las clases sociales y es un factor significativo en el logro ocupacional. Estos estudios pueden ser complementados con técnicas de Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS), que nos permiten observar las estructuras de relaciones subyacentes entre personas en diferentes posiciones de la de estructura de estratificación social. En este artículo se realiza un análisis de redes sociales, agregado al nivel ocupacional, de los lazos fuertes y débiles de los residentes del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires en 2015 con datos provenientes de la encuesta del PI-Clases "Reproducción y movilidad social en trayectorias familiares y cursos de vida" (2015-2016). El análisis se realizará con el software Gephi a partir de información sobre las ocupaciones de los miembros del hogar del encuestado y su mejor amigo. Este análisis permite mapear redes de lazos fuertes y débiles mostrando patrones de relaciones y encontrar los nodos centrales de esta red, puentes que conectan distintas posiciones de clase y fronteras que limitan la interacción entre clases. El análisis mostró que los lazos de amistad y en los hogares se estructuran fuertemente según la posición social, con fronteras de clase marcadas. In the last decades there has been a growing interest in the role of social ties and the resources they provide. Recent studies have shown that social capital, usually measured with the position generator, is a factor that has significative effects in occupational attainment. These studies on social stratification and mobility can be complemented with techniques of social network analysis (SNA), these enable us to observe the underlying structure of relationships between people in different positions of the structure of social stratification. This paper proposes to perform a social network analysis, aggregated at the occupational level, of the family and friendship ties of residents of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. This will be done using social network analysis software (Gephi) with survey data that includes the occupations of the respondent 's family members and closest friend. This analysis allowed us to map networks of family and friendship ties, aggregated at the occupational level, showing patterns of relationships and allowing us to find the central nodes in the structure of relationships, bridges that allow contact between different positions and frontiers that limit interaction between social classes. The analysis showed that friendship and household ties are structured by social position, with marked barriers between the middle class and the working class and fluid ties between strata within each class

El objetivo principal de este texto ha sido desarrollar un análisis crítico y comparativo de las propuestas artísticas que, desde la década de los setenta, han abordado el cuestionamiento y la transformación del discurso espacial, entendido como una tecnología de imposición de las ficciones de sexo-género y generadora de experiencias desiguales. Para ello, hemos relacionado y confrontado una selección de las propuestas artísticas más significativas con diversos posicionamientos feministas, transfeministas, queer y postcoloniales. Este estudio nos ha permitido proponer una sistematización de los distintos enfoques planteados desde el arte, en los que el discurso espacial se presentaba, por un lado, como productor de las diferencias de sexo-género, asentadas éstas en un discurso binario y esencialista. Y, por otro, como mecanismo de expulsión de aquellas identidades que quedan fuera de la norma heteropatriarcal y cisexista, al responder, de forma interseccional, ante otras categorías de discriminación vinculadas con dispositivos de control., The aim of this paper is to present a critical and comparative analysis that is based on artistic proposals that are related to some diverse discursive strategies which have been developed during last decades in order to analyze and modify the spatial discourse. Space is understood as a technology to impose sex-gender fictions, and the works selected will be linked to various feminist, transfeminist, queer and postcolonial positionings. Through this text we present a systematization of different artistic approaches and we will reveal the spatial discourse as a mechanism to generate unequal experiences. The selected artistic proposals will show the capacity of space as capable of producing sex-gender differences, which are rooted in some binary and essentialist beliefs, and therefore excluding non standardized subjectivities beyond the heteronormative and cissexist binomial, as well as linking those exclusions to other intersectional discriminations.

El artículo expone la metodología y resultados de un análisis de casos tipo en geografía de redes personales que examina el incrustamiento espacial y relacional de las interacciones sociales mediante el análisis de las dimensiones de las distancias interpersonales y las configuraciones de las redes sociales en el espacio urbano, en diferentes momentos del tiempo y lugares de interacción. Desde la teoría y método del Análisis de Redes Sociales se describen las redes de una muestra de informantes tipo (N=6) conformadas por contactos personales (n=87) de los informantes que habitan en la misma ciudad y con quienes mantienen contacto regular a través de Whatsapp. Las redes en los espacios de habitación, trabajo o estudio y esparcimiento se presentan en sociogramas sobre mapas georreferenciados, calculando diversos índices de geo-dispersión y sus correlaciones tanto con los atributos de los actores individuales como con los principales indicadores de composición y estructura reticulares. Los resultados apoyan los argumentos en favor del fuerte carácter local de las interacciones sociales, incluso de aquellas tecnológica y virtualmente mediadas, como las dadas a través de WhatsApp. This paper exposes the methodology and the results of a type-case analysis in personal network geography which examines the spatial and relational embeddedness of social interactions through the analysis of the dimensions of interpersonal distances as well as the configurations of social networks in urban space, in different moments of time and places of interaction. From the Social Network Analysis theory and method, we describe the networks of a sample of type informants (N = 6) formed by personal contacts (n = 87) of the respondents who live in the same city and with whom they maintain regular contact through WhatsApp. The networks in the spaces of habitation, work -or study- and recreation are presented in sociograms onto georeferenced maps, and various geo-dispersion indexes and their correlations with the attributes of the individual actors and with the main indicators of network composition and structure are calculated. Our results support the arguments in favor of the strong local character of social interactions, even those technologically and virtually mediated, such as those given through WhatsApp.

La gestión de los recursos de red, entendidos como aquellos que son propiedad de los socios de una empresa y a los que accede a través de sus relaciones, es una cuestión básica en el desarrollo de alianzas y acuerdos. El tipo de recursos de red que serán necesarios para la empresa puede estar condicionado por el momento del ciclo de vida en que se encuentre y de si tiene una actitud de exploración o de explotación en el diseño y gestión de sus estrategias de cooperación. Se plantea una nueva consideración del ciclo de vida como un continuo entre empresas jóvenes y empresas consolidadas. Este trabajo analiza estas relaciones en el sector de las aerolíneas a nivel global. Los resultados muestran que las empresas consolidadas siguen simultáneamente un comportamiento de exploración y de explotación y que cuando se dan estos últimos se buscan recursos básicamente ligados al conocimiento y a la tecnología. The management of network resources, defined as one owned by the partners of a business or that accesses through their relationships, is a general question in the development of alliances and agreements. The type of network resources that will be necessary for the company may be affected by the time of its life cycle and by if the company has an attitude of exploration or exploitation in the design and management of cooperative strategies. We propose a new framework of the life cycle as a continuum between young and established companies. This paper analyzes these relations in the airline industry globally. The results show the consolidated companies continue simultaneously conduct exploration and exploitation and that when they seek resources latter basically these are linked to knowledge and technology.

Se reconoce que los procesos de innovación suceden entre un conjunto heterogéneo de actores, donde el Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS) es una herramienta prometedora para su análisis y comprensión y, así, diseñar intervenciones basadas en red para catalizarla. Las intervenciones en red describen el proceso a través del cual se usan datos relacionales para acelerar el flujo de información entre los actores que la conforman. Este artículo contribuye en dos vertientes: primero, proporcionar conocimiento y evidencia sobre la aplicación y utilidad del ARS en el contexto de una intervención basada en red para catalizar la innovación agrícola; segundo, añadir a la literatura del ARS el estudio de una red al inicio y al final de la intervención de un programa de extensión, mostrando los cambios en la estructura e indicadores de forma longitudinal. Se utilizaron datos de productores caprinos para generar indicadores de línea base y después se analizó la intervención con una línea final. Los resultados sustentan la utilidad del ARS para catalizar la innovación agrícola, resaltando la importancia de la selección de agricultores y actores clave para dinamizar estos procesos. Se concluye con algunas implicaciones metodológicas y de política pública para mejorar e impulsar la innovación agrícola., It is recognized that innovation processes occur within a heterogeneous set of actors, where the Social Network Analysis (SNA) is a promising tool in order to analyse and understand it, thus, interventions based on network can be designed for catalysing it. The network interventions describe the process through which relational data are used to accelerate the information flow among the actors who conform it. This paper contributes to the following aspects: first, it provides knowledge and evidence related to the application and usefulness of the SNA in the context of an intervention based on network for catalysing agricultural innovation; second, it adds to the literature of SNA the study about a network structure using a base-line and final-line after the intervention of an extension program; the change of the network structure and the SNA indicators in a longitudinal way are presented. Data from goat producers to calculate base-line were used, then the intervention was analysed using a final-line. The results sustain the usefulness of the SNA for catalysing agricultural innovation; the relevance of farmers and key actors selection to dynamize these processes is highlighted. It is concluded with some methodological and policy implications in order to enhance and boost agricultural innovation.

En este artículo utilizo el caso de la bibliografía de “autoayuda cerebral” para analizar la organización y combinación de las definiciones neurocientíficas sobre el cerebro en torno a una gramática del bienestar personal. A partir del análisis de un corpus de publicaciones de autoayuda cerebral, describo los modos en que se construye una narrativa cerebralista de la conducta y de las emociones y cómo ésta se articula con una propuesta de cambio personal. El análisis ilumina cómo la vulgarización del discurso neurocientífico provee recursos narrativos para lidiar y dotar de sentido a las experiencias vitales. In this paper I analyze the case of cerebral self-help literature and describe how the organization of neuroscientific definitions about the brain is combined within a grammar of personal wellbeing. Based on a corpus of publication of cerebral self-help, I describe the ways in which a brain narrative of behaviour and emotions is created and how is articulated with a proposal for personal growth. El correo electrónico se ha convertido en un repositorio rico y amplio de la información acerca de las comunicaciones entre los individuos. Desde el punto de vista empresarial las comunicaciones por correo electrónico son el reflejo de las interacciones entre las personas que componen la organización. En este trabajo ideamos las técnicas y las herramientas para la exploración de datos que permiten extraer del correo electrónico la red social que subyace y la información que pueda ser útil para la toma de decisiones en la empresa. Analizando los datos del correo electrónico del aeropuerto de Muenster y Osnabrueck, se muestra la red social conformada a través de dichas relaciones, las propiedades de la red y su evolución a través del tiempo. Nuestra técnica proporciona una aplicación para inferir a través del correo electrónico las conexiones de la red y su caracterización sugiriendo una nueva vía de exploración de datos para estudiar el comportamiento empresarial. Electronic mail has become a rich and comprehensive repository of information about communication between individuals. From the business point of view, email communication is a reflection of interaction between the employees of the organization. In this paper we devised the techniques and tools for exploring data, that allow to extract information from email that underlie the social network that may be useful in the company to make a decision. Analyzing data from email communication of the airport Muenster and Osnabrueck shows the properties and the evolution of the network that has been formed by the relation between the employees. Our technique provides an application to infer through email network connections and characterizations, suggesting a new way to explore and study data of business behavior.

Para muchos profesionales vinculados al Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS), es de importancia transformar sus datos para realizar estudios posteriores. Es frecuente que los datos de sistemas donde intervienen conexiones se almacenen en matrices más elementales que las matrices completas o “full matrix”, frecuentemente utilizadas en programas de ARS. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue diseñar y programar un software modificable para transformar matrices de tres columnas [A (grupo 1), B (grupo 2) y C (conexiones entre nodos de ambos grupos)] a matrices completas y simétricas, y analizar las ventajas del software con respecto a los problemas de almacenamiento y transformación de datos. Para ello se desarrolló un método de transformación de matrices y se diseñó un algoritmo (pseudocódigo) para realizar las operaciones necesarias. El algoritmo fue programado usando el lenguaje wxBasic para aumentar la compatibilidad entre sistemas operativos y facilitar su modificación por el usuario, obteniéndose un software estable y de fácil uso.\ud \ud For many professionals linked to Social Network Analysis (SNA), it is important to transform their data for further studies. Often, the data of systems where exist ties are stored in elementary matrices, and not in full matrices, frequently used in SNA software. The objective of this paper was to design and program a modifiable software with the potential to transform three columns matrices [A (group 1), B (group 2) and C (ties between groups nodes)] to full and symmetric matrices, and to analyze the advantages of software regarding storage and data processing problems. To perform the necessary operations was developed a transformation matrix method and an algorithm (pseudocode) of this method. The algorithm was programmed in wxBasic to improve the compatibility between operating systems and to make the user modification easier, obtaining stable and easy-to-use software.

El estudio ha permitido detectar diferentes redes, que han surgido principalmente de necesidades específicas de los actores involucrados. Los resultados muestran que las interacciones son muy débiles y la dispersión existente en la interacción es excesiva para que pueda asegurarse el desarrollo necesario de los procesos de innovación., [EN]: This paper analyses the relations of the research units of the University of Panama with other agents in the national innovation system of Panama, such as private companies, research organizations, public bodies and other entities. The study allowed the detection of networks which have been formed in different ways, but always meeting the needs of the participants. Interactions are weak and scattered, they do not guarantee the efficient and effective operation of the networks. It cannot ensure the necessary development of innovation processes.

Al inicio del siglo XXI la Web 2.0, basada en el desarrollo de las redes sociales a través de Internet (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp o similares medios sociales, que actúan en tiempo real), introduce nuevas formas de convocar y difundir cualquier tipo de protesta o movilización colectiva, cambiando las estrategias para extender los movimientos sociales, el alcance potencial de la difusión, etc. En esta comunicación enfocamos nuestro estudio en Twitter, específicamente en el tema “desahucios”. Hemos hecho un seguimiento de los tweets publicados desde el 10 de abril de 2013 hasta el 28 de mayo de 2013 en relación a los “desahucios”. La extracción de datos produjo un conjunto de 499.420 tweets. En este trabajo analizamos el uso del hashtag ‘SpanishRevolution’, incluido en los datos extraídos sobre los desahucios en España y buscamos las conexiones existentes entre este y otros hashtags de los mismos tweets, para encontrar pautas en el conjunto de los microdiscursos que producen los hashtags. También nos interesa identificar quién está detrás de esta producción de tweets y hashtags. Nos hemos basado en una aproximación multimétodo combinando métodos y software (Atlas ti, SPSS, Gephi). Se encontraron microdiscursos que revelaron conexiones significativas entre etiquetas y permiten comprender algunas pautas en la difusión de un movimiento. Se descubrió cómo pocos actores están impulsando la movilización en torno a ‘#SpanishRevolution’., The Web 2.0 based on the developing of Social Networks through the Internet (Twitter, Facebook, etc, on real time) introduced new ways of annou nce or call any type of protest or collective mobilization. In this paper, we focus our study on Twitter.We pay attention to the topic “desahucios” (evictions). In particular we did a follow-up of all the tweets published in Twitter from 10 April 2013 to 28 May 2013 concerning ‘desahucios’. The data extraction produced a dataset of 499,420 tweets. Our objectives in this work are -To analyze the use of the hashtag “SpanishRevolution” included in the cited dataset, and to discover the connections between this and other hashtags included in the same tweets, looking for patterns in the microdiscourses produced by the hashtags. -To see who is behind this production of tweets and tags, that is, individual and collective actors involved in the production of discourses, with especial attention to actors that produce the tag ‘SpanishRevolution’. We did a mixed methods approximation, combining the use of the Qualitative analysis (Atlas ti for codification, co-occurrences of codes, etc), quantitative analysis (Spss), and a special focus on Social Networks Analysis in order to look for the connections between actors and hashtags (Gephi). Apart from the significant connections between hashtags in order to understand some of the patterns of diffusion of a movement, one of most impressive results show how few actors are pushing a lot.
