In the course of time and according to the evolution of research data in the world literature, there is an increasing number of people, who prefer to exercise outdoors and express through motion next to nature away from the commitment to a confined space, such as the gym. People today choose to combine movement with entertainment and contact with other people, creating strong social bonds and orienting themselves to a form of exercise that will enable them to have unique experiences and unprecedented emotions, feeling the adrenaline constantly increasing in the face of challenges. Therefore, the involvement of the population in a form of exercise that provides these opportunities is becoming more and more intense. The focus of our dissertation and the topic that will concern us are the spaces that promote the form of exercise mentioned above, the parks of motor leisure activities. In this paper we searched in the web and analyzed the websites of (N=250) thematic parks in Europe. We found that all parks have a description related to a sport theme and we categorized them in three categories: a) rope parks with high and low passages with climbing equipment b) seasonal parks with water tubes and water pipes (waterparks) and c) mixed parks with outdoor activities like archery and sport shooting. Our results indicate that in Northern Europe countries the adventure parks are a common tourism destination with schoolchildren visits and tourism packages, whereas in south Europe and the Mediterranean the phenomenon is less common and the countries are like to invest in more traditional touristic models. In the limitations of this pilot research is that the procedure was interrupted by the pandemic and the covid 19 restrictions from March to May 2020. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The pandemic of Covid-19 has a strong influence on all the sectors of the international sport industry, including professional, amateur sport leagues and sport clubs. Specifically, along with other sectors of the society, the Greek sporting community has been greatly affected by the lockdowns during the past year. Bourdieu's concept of habitus has proven to be a very useful tool when it comes to explaining sociological phenomena in many societies. However, habitus has not yet been used from the lens of a pandemic affecting sporting activities. In highlighting the sociological aspects and in providing a framework for understanding the impact of covid-19 on sporting structures and sports participation, this paper makes reference to Bourdieu's concept of habitus; the aim is to shed light and provide a better insight of how the pandemic can affect the sport community in Greece. The article methodologically followed the traditional form of bibliographic reviews, the narrative and relied on the limited existing bibliography as well as online publications and statements by representatives of organizations such as those presented and presented during the pandemic, as the pandemic is still ongoing at the time of writing. The continuous progress of new technologies transforms rapidly the field of education and it offers the necessary functional and friendly infrastructure for the development of distance education in schools. School Distance Education (SDE) can support a wide range of learning needs and offer effective solutions to the problems of geomorphology, pandemics, lack of teachers, supplementary or differentiated teaching, etc. by supporting both teachers in their work and students to enhance their performances. Innovative and flexible forms of learning are encouraged in SDE such as individualized, collaborative, experiential and exploratory learning. The expansion of the autonomous and complementary SDE in the range of formal education is considered necessary in Greece in the context of supporting equal educational opportunities. Fragmentary initiatives had been launched in formal and non-formal education system or innovative actions in the SDE, till the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Then SDE evolves rapidly in the form of "Emergency Remote Teaching". This form was temporarily activated in response to the crisis, with the positive response and participation of teachers without a wide range of options and full management control. The complex conditions that are being faced require new roles for all stakeholders in school education. Educational systems are tested on the ways / methods of maintaining the educational practice outside of school in matters of pedagogical responsibility and technological readiness. With the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and the forced closure of schools, a project of Emergency Remote Teaching began in Greece with synchronous, asynchronous teaching methods and TV broadcasts. Educational RadioTelevision (EduTV) of the Ministry of Education today supports students and teachers, encouraging their participation in authentic learning environments, which can inspire and offer conditions for collaborative creativity and cultivation of 21st century skills. EduTV produces educational audiovisual content specially designed and developed based on the Distance Education principles, which can furthermore support interactive communication. In addition to production, EduTV contributes to SDE in the dimensions of mass broadcasting through public television, distribution in digital repositories with open licenses, enabling integration and interaction in online learning environments. The open source H5P software offers teachers a strongly powerful tool to create their own interactive videos as part of their educational plans and practices in classrooms, Web learning environments or combining them by inserting interactive elements. The paper first presents an introduction to Distance Education and its principles and then emphasizes in SDE and the concepts of autonomous and complementary SDE. The second section approaches the role of EduTV in SDE on the one hand in its traditional form with the production and dissemination of audiovisual material and on the other hand with the utilization of streaming media on the Internet. The third section focuses on the initiatives of the EduTV in both SDE and Emergency Remote Teaching. Moreover, it highlights the potential of video-lessons accessible by students with hearing problems, produced during the pandemic. The paper highlights the conclusions from the contribution of EduTV in front of the challenges that arise from the convergence of television and Internet technologies as well as from the complex conditions of 21st century education. The contribution of EduTV to SDE is highlighted as well as the ways in which it can support traditional school education and propose solutions to the complex pandemic situations or the geomorphological situations of the Greek school and moreover the special educational needs of students. OJECTIVE To capture information needs and feelings of the general population towards the vaccination against COVID-19 in the regional unit of Achaia, as well as to investigate their differentiation on the basis of their demographics. METHOD A cross-sectional study with a sample of 306 Achaia residents was designed to serve the purpose of the study. The research tool was composed of three distinct, structured, closed-type, anonymized, self-fulfilling questionnaires; one recording participants' demographics, one investigating their informational behavior, and one assessing their feelings toward COVID-19 vaccination. Data's analysis was carried out with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS IBM), version 22.0. RESULTS Topics as "precautionary measures in case of contact", "protective measures and precautions", "vaccination for COVID-19 treatment", and "ways of transmission and transmissibility" were the ones the study participants more frequently seek information for. "Anxiety" and "relief" were the feelings acknowledged as felt more intently by the study participants towards COVID-19 vaccination, with women manifesting "anxiety" more intensively while those with higher income manifested "anger" more intensively. CONCLUSIONS The changes brought by COVID-19 that have created a novel global health reality comprise a teaching experience for the future. However, it is imperative not only to highlight information literacy's and information behavior's importance, but also to develop continuous education programs for the population in these areas. Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a global health and societal emergency respiratory disease that is caused by SARS-CoV-2. A poor understanding of the disease among Healthcare Workers (HCWs) can result in delayed identification and treatment leading to rapid spread of infections. Aim: The investigation of the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) of HCWs toward COVID-19. Material and Methods: Search was performed on PubMed for studies published from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 with the key-words: "knowledge", "attitude», "practice", "COVID19", "healthcare workers" and "HCW", which were searched in the title and abstract of the studies. Studies were excluded if they were not published in English language, were conducted on animals and were case studies, editorials, and letters to the editor. Results: Of the scientific papers retrieved, 5 were included in the systematic review. Regarding the rate of knowledge of HCWs toward COVID-19, it ranged from 62.6 % to 89%. The rate of HCWs that had good practices and positive attitudes toward COVID-19 ranged from 74% to 89.7% and from 21% to 88.5%, respectively. The factors that positively affected (increase the rate) in statistically significant level the knowledge, attitudes and practices were the age of 40 years old and more, the higher level of education (possession of Master of Science Degree and/or Doctor of Philosophy), the medical profession and the more years of experience. Conclusions: Continuing professional education is advised among HCWs to improve knowledge of HCWs hence averting negative attitudes and promoting positive preventive and therapeutic practices. Introduction: The disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 infection since its outbreak in China in the end of 2019, turned into a pandemic after having reached over 7,834 confirmed cases and 170 deaths worldwide by the end of January 2020. Purpose: The purpose of the current article is to present how SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), MERS (Middle East syndrome) and COVID-19 pandemics affected the mental health of different population subgroups and also to present the determinants of mental illness, in an attempt to understand their negative psychological effects. Material- Methodology: The methodology that was followed in this paper was the review of the international bibliography on the Pubmed, Scopus και Google Scholar on the subject of mental health during pandemics and the presentation of the wide range of psychosocial needs that emerged during the SARS, MERS and COVID-19 pandemics. Results: The conclusions derived from the first literature research on the mental health of different target groups during the COVID-19 pandemic are comparable to those that emerged during the previous two major pandemics. Therefore, the pandemic has demonstrated the necessity of timely mental health care by the immediate adoption of appropriate measures and the implementation of interventions that will be based on the different needs of the population. Conclusions: Although the Greek government took timely measures against the spread of the virus, published research efforts regarding the mental health outcomes within the Greek population, are still in their infancy. At this critical time, mental health assessment and evaluation should be a priority for health authorities in their way to managing psychological crises due to a pandemic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Taking into account the global conjuncture at the modern stage, innovations and cognitive thinking play a key role in the effective development of small and medium-sized businesses. The rapid development of digital technologies and the emergence of diverse digital platforms gave an impetus to the transformation of entrepreneurial behavior and the conduct of entrepreneurial activities from the real to the virtual sphere. A special sector of private business - small and medium enterprises play an important role in the development of the economy and contribute significantly to ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Small and medium-sized enterprises, with the potential of employment growth and job creation, as well as their contribution to the development and growth of the economy, can be the cornerstone of the economy of any country in the world. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses since December 2019 and the need to adapt to new conditions has created an urgent objective need for the introduction of digital technologies and the urgency of effective use. Any force majeure circumstances: natural disasters, wars, social conflicts, epidemics and especially global pandemics have a significant impact on the long-term development of society and people's lifestyle. While the current COVID-19 pandemic is not the first in recent history, it is the first pandemic in the era of digital entrepreneurship, where the majority of our business models and value-creating enterprises are based in one way or another on digital communication and the internet. From the 20s of the 21st century, business began to move from the traditional non-virtual model, where a physical place needed to conduct business activities, to a digital model, where web sites and e-commerce platforms are increasingly used for daily business operations. The measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic (strict isolation, social distancing, etc.) have fundamentally changed the economic and business landscape, accelerating the transition to predominantly digital business models in many regions of the world, as firms in the small business sector sought to reduce risks and maintain operations in the face of COVID-19. In the post-pandemic world caused by Digital technologies have begun to play a key role in the development of small businesses, with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic highlighting the relevance of its use, as digital technologies have become the focus of attention and become a driving force for economic development. Despite the rapid growth of digital entrepreneurship, the transition to the 5th and 6th technological modes, the digitalization processes were significantly accelerated by the global pandemic of COVID-19, which stimulated the development and implementation of digital technologies not only in large, but also in small and medium-sized businesses. In order to determine the main trends in the transformation of small business models during the global pandemic, it is necessary to take into account the general processes of digitization in the previous quarantine period in order to reveal the dynamics of the introduction of digital technologies in the development of small enterprises using analysis and comparative methods. To identify the main trends in the use and development of digital technologies in the field of small businesses during the global pandemic, while focusing on the main changes that have taken place in the activities of small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the research, the main changes and trends that occurred in the activity of small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic were identified, and actual conclusions were formed on the possible directions of the development of small and medium businesses in the new reality using digital technologies. The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the digitization of small businesses, mainly due to the forced need to switch to remote work and use digital technologies not only to keep in touch with employees, but also to maintain close contact and trust with customers. Nevertheless, managers have not yet tried actively investing financial resources in training employees, mastering digital technologies at a high level, and developing information security, because historically the main problem on the way to digitization is the lack of financial resources, which has become especially acute during the global pandemic, both in developed and developing countries. Undoubtedly, it should be taken into account that it is impossible to establish universal methods to overcome the existing barriers and develop the digital component of small business, because each company must develop its own individual strategy. Taking into account the existing digital capabilities, budget, business culture, etc. digitization of small businesses does not need to radically change business models, as digital transformation can be implemented gradually and at different levels according to changes. Along with the fight against the global pandemic crisis in different ways, the new reality has created the need for remote work and telecommunications for business. A third of small and medium enterprises turned out to be fully ready for these challenges. It should also be mentioned that as the size of the companies increases, the business infrastructure and digital technologies for effective work in remote mode (on line) are greater. In the face of a global pandemic, small business enterprises can choose three paths: accelerate digitization, digitize sales functions, and find digital partners to go to market. The decision to choose one of the three digital transformation options is determined by the current level of digital maturity, business culture and history of digital technology adoption. We believe that digitalization of sales functions is essential in any scenario. It should be noted here that the movement towards the digital future is a purely individual approach for a specific business, regardless of the unity of strategies. Along with the recommendations to be considered, the digitization of small businesses and the minimization of losses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic require significant support from the state. In the age of digital technologies, one of the main priorities of any country in the world is the development of digital entrepreneurship and society based on cognitive skills through digital technologies.
