The article focuses on a research paper of Doctor Louise Archer, reader in education policy studies at King's College in London, England about the trials and tribulations of young academics in Great Britain. The research shows that pressure to publish, going after research grants, job security concerns and workplace harmony are the primary concerns of young academics.
