A homoclinic class is the closure of the transverse intersection points of the stable and unstable manifolds of a hyperbolic periodic orbit. In this paper, we prove, using the techniques presented in [1], that the Plykin and the Solenoid attractors are a homoclinic class. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, the Fischer matrices of the maximal subgroup G = 2+1+8:(U4(2):2) of U6(2):2 will be derived from the Fischer matrices of the quotient group Q = G/Z(2+1+8) = 28:(U4(2):2), where Z(2+1+8) denotes the center of the extra-special 2-group 2+1+8. Using this approach, the Fischer matrices and associated ordinary character table of G are computed in an elegantly simple manner. This approach can be used to compute the ordinary character table of any split extension group of the form 2+1+2n :G, n ∈ N, provided the ordinary irreducible characters of 2+1+2n extend to ordinary irreducible characters of its inertia subgroups in 21+2n:G and also that the Fischer matrices M(gi) of the quotient group 2+1+2n:G/Z(2+1+2n) = 22n:G are known for each class representative gi in G. Let Rm = Fq[y]/[ym − 1], where m | q − 1. In this paper, we obtain the structure of linear and cyclic codes over Rm. Also, we introduce a preserving-orthogonality Gray map from Rm to Fmq. Let A = {a1, a2, . . . , ak} be a set of positive integers with k ≥ 3, such that a1 ≤ a2 ≤ a3 ≤ · · · ≤ ak = N. Our problem is to investigate the number of triplets (ar, as, at) ∈ A 3 with ar < as < at, satisfying ar + as - at < 0 and - ar + as + at > N. (1) In this paper we give an upper bound for the maximum number of such a triplets in an arbitrary set of integers with k elements. We also find the number of triplets satisfying () for some families of sets in order to determine lower bounds for the maximum number of such a triplets that a set with k elements can have. In this paper some properties, examples and counterexamples about the formal derivative operator defined with respect to context-free grammars are presented. In addition, we show a connection between the context-free grammar G = {a → ab^r ; b → b^{r+1} } and multifactorial numbers. In this paper, we review some recent developments of compact quantum groups that arise as θ-deformations of compact Lie groups of rank at least two. A θ-deformation is merely a 2-cocycle deformation using an action of a torus of dimension higher than 2. This paper presents a study of a general relativistic perfect uid space-time admitting various types of curvature restrictions on energy-momen- tum tensors and brings out the conditions for which uids of the space{time are sometimes phantom barrier and some other times quintessence barrier.
