The article discusses the result of the study on female mice sexual behavior conducted by researcher Tali Kimchi with the research team lead by Catherine Dulac who is based at Harvard University. Under the investigation, researchers analyze the effect of sex pheromone switching on the sexual identity of female mice. Results show that pheromone determines female sexual identity as the female mice demonstrate high level of male-mating behaviors. Moreover, the study also suggests that loss of vomero-nasal organ (VNO) function could disrupt proper brain development of female sexual identity. At the end of the investigation, the group concludes that the female brain includes the neuronal connections for male behavior.
