From the perspective of the process of urbanization, this paper puts forward the corresponding public policy control by analyzing the characteristics of "hollowing" at different stages of urbanization. Moreover, the paper focuses on the stage of China's current urbanization. Based on the survey of migrant workers, this paper evaluates China's current policies, and argues that the rural "hollowing" is an objective that accompanies urbanization. At different stages of the process of urbanization, the rural "hollowing" presents different characteristics. Local governments should make policy and plan based on the different stages of local urbanization and local conditions, because of the extent of regional differences in economic and social development. This paper aims to guide the rural "hollowing" to develop toward the right direction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper carries out a questionnaire survey of persons in charge of the agricultural project in the "Eleventh Five-Year National Support Program" on the level of innovation in projects and the factors influencing innovation. After the linear regression analysis of the survey data, it is found that the factors influencing the innovation in agricultural science and technology projects include the level of innovation in scientific achievements, efficiency of research methods and creation of innovation environment. Through the variance analysis of the level of innovation and its influencing factors related to different innovators, it is found that there are differences in the statistical significance of level of innovation in projects among universities, research institutes, research and extension departments directly under the government, and enterprises; there are no significant differences in the understanding of factors influencing innovation, that is, different innovators basically have the same understanding of factors influencing innovation, but the assessment on level of innovation in projects completed is different to some extent. On this basis, this paper proposes the recommendations for further strengthening the level of innovation in agricultural science and technology projects in order to provide a theoretical reference and practical basis for the project managers to effectively improve the level of agricultural science and technology project management, and enhance the level of innovation in projects. This paper, from the city integration perspective, analyzes the main beneficiaries who benefit from the household registration system reform, and studies the influence of individual decisions about the transfer from agriculture to non-agriculture. Based on it, this paper makes an empirical research by using the survey data about migrant workers in Chongqing. The research findings are as follows: (i) The urban em- ployment, the living condition and the rural connection have a significant impact on migrant workers' transfer decision ; (i) If the value of those factors (such as the working stability, the family income, the urban house condition and the urban social security) is higher, then the migrant workers who have no economic interest in rural areas are better able to integrate into the urban areas, therefore the inclination to trans- fer the household registration from agriculture to non-agriculture will be much stronger. It is proposed that we should do some significant things, such as enhancing the investment of security housing, bringing the migrant workers into the city housing accumulation fund system and giving them prior allocation right, perfecting land elastic exit mechanism, creating a harmonious employment environment, which are important strategies promoting migrant workers to integrate into the urban areas and afecting their individual decision about transferring from agriculture to nonagriculture. Studies on food supply values, the basis of eco-service values, and their factors of different pond aquaculture ecosystems are helpful to explain the influences of the inputted factors and their variations among these ecosystems and provide information for stakeholders to adjust their decisions and behaviors to increase their total eco-service values. On the basis of continued records from 2011 to 2012 of 18 ponds of three pond aquaculture ecosystems, namely Litopenaeus vannamei, Macrobrachium nippponensis and carp fresh water pond aquaculture ecosystems in Qingpu, Fengxian, and Jiading, three suburban districts of Shang, this paper analyzed the costs, returns, net food supply values and their regional and temporal fluctuations. The results showed that: (1) the net food supply values of the three ecosystems are 143252.4, 135883.7, and 52623.1Yuan/Ha in 2011 correspondently, with the Litopenaeus vannamei pond aquaculture ecosystem (LVPAE) ranking highest and the carp pond aquaculture ecosystem (CPAE) lowest among them, and the trend was same in 2012, but the values decreased than that of 2011 with the rate of 30.0%( LVPAE), 38.0 %( Macrobrachium nippponensis pond aquaculture ecosystem, MNPAE) and 13.7 %( CPAE). (2)The dominant factors of the net food supply values of these ecosystems are the produce price and variable costs; fry and feed costs are the main variable factors producing the noticeable difference among the ecosystems. (3) The cost-benefit ratio of per unit product of the CPAE, LVPAE and MNPAE changed from 27.5%,91.7%,129.0% in 2011 to 23.0%,73.8% and 63.8% in 2012, with the CPAE ranked lowest among them in both years.(4) For all the three ecosystems, their net food supply values may not always change in same trends with their net eco-service values, if stakeholders want to keep an balance between these two types of values, MNPAE should be encouraged in these districts. From the perspective of micro-subjects of rapeseed planting, namely, the rape seed planting farmers, this paper made an analysis on factors influencing supply of rapeseed in provinces of China on the basis of panel data of 14 provinces producing rapeseed. Analysis indicates that decision of rapeseed planting area is influenced by planting area of the previous year and comparative benefits of rapeseed and the substitute crop wheat, while the local non-agricultural employment level exerts little influence on decision of rapeseed planting area. Finally, it came up with pertinent policy recommendations: since lagging influence of previous planting decisions and selection of planting decisions are a long period, formulation and implementation of any policy should consider long-term subsequent effect, instead of excessively focusing on policy objectives; strengthening new technological researches of new rapeseed varieties relying on scientific and technological innovation, enhancing construction of rapeseed production infrastructure, and improving integrated rapeseed production capacity, so as to increase relative income of rape-seed planting. Shareholding cooperative development provides a pass for many social forces entering and controlling agricultural cooperatives and making numerous non-agricultural cooperative organizations become formal cooperatives. Deep cause for Shareholding cooperative development of agricultural cooperatives involves how to recognize status and function of family producers of agricultural products in the drive of agricultural modernization and the problem of state policies choosing family producers of agricultural products or other participants in the agricultural industry chain. Shareholding cooperative development is only an expedient measure in certain period, and it should not change development laws of things and essential feature of agricultural cooperatives because of stressing national conditions. The economic development of China has transformed from factor-driven type to innovation-driven type, and the upgrading of industrial structure is very important. In this paper, in order to explore the path of the coupling effect of modern service industry and agriculture, based on previous research and practical experience, we select 14 indicators, and then use the theory of disipative structure, coupling degree and coupling coordination degree to measure the coupling phase of modern service industry and agriculture. On this basis, we use the spiilover effect for the empirical testing of influence of modern service industry on agricultural development. The study shows that modern service industry and agriculture in our country are at the medium coupling, and in the early stage of development. The spiilover effects of China's modern service industry on China's economic development and agricultural progress are significant. Finally, the policy recommendations are put forward from tourism, logistics and so on to promote the coupling of modern service industry and agriculture and provide a reference for promoting the coupling level of China's modern service industry and agriculture. Using social network analysis method, this paper made an empirical study on growth of evil forces in land requisition and relocation in City G of Hubei Province. It obtained following results:(i) lawless developers and inefficient public security organs form interested parties of evil forces. Besides, the inward closeness centrality of evil forces is high, manifesting that evil forces independently possess decentralized power of network and have unscrupulous behavior in land requisition and relocation to a certain extent.(ii) Activities of evil forces have complicated spatial correlation and their geographical distribution is uneven, taking on irregular characteristics. In the field of land requisition and relocation, some evil forces are expanding and spreading, while other forces are relatively weak. In conclusion, growth of evil forces comes from premeditation and collaboration of lawless developers, lack of functions and weak attack of public security organs; growth of evil forces has periodic changes, when in power, they will take opportunity to expand, while losing power, they will hide or even disappear. We make an empirical analysis of regional characteristics of influence factors of financial exclusion by using the data of types and levels of financial institutions in China from 1998 to 2012. The study shows that number of financial institutions continues to increase, but with uneven distribution; the density of financial institutions increases steadily and the gap between the eastern regions and the Midwest is huge; the commercial banks of the eastern regions account for the higher, and the proportion of the Midwest rural banks is high. Even though the financial exclusion eases, large differences still exist in different areas and the situation is rather critical in rural areas, especially the financial exclusion in western rural areas is the worst. The economic development level, area scale, government expenditure, personal savings level, have different effects on financial exclusion. Accordingly, this paper puts forward the recommendations for coordinating the financial resource from all regions and reducing the regional financial exclusion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
