The main factors influencing the output wavelength of semiconductor are drift of working temperature and changes of working current. Therefore, the key technology of semiconductor frequency stabilization is to detect frequency shifts and convert the shifts into electrical signal, then feedback control the working current and the temperature in order to ensure that the output frequency basically remains unchanged. So, a laser wavelength measuring system based on DSP is designed in this paper. The measurement theory of the system and the design of hardware are given in this paper. The system is composed of DSP, optical grating, CCD and so on. This measurement method introduced in this paper makes the measurement intelligent and has high degree of accuracy of measurement.

The quantitative classification of transformer supervision can improve the quality of transformer supervision. For the contents of transformer supervision, this paper establishes an index system of transformer supervision. Example results show that the extension matter-element theory which is applied to transformer supervision quantitative evaluation is more reasonable. According to the categories of transformer supervision, this paper quantifies the uncertainty and builds the evaluation system of transformer supervision. It realizes the evaluation of transformer supervision and gets the key factors which influence the transformer supervision. This evaluation system is conducive to guide the transformer supervision to be more scientific and effective.

In this paper the influence of cross-coupling effects on the rubbing-related dynamics of rotor/stator systems is investigated. The model considered in this paper is a 4-dof rotor/stator system which takes into account the dynamics of the stator and the deformation on the contact surface as well as the cross-coupling effects. The stability of the synchronous full annular rub solution of the model is first analyzed. Then, the cross-coupling effects on the stability of the system at different system parameters are studied. It is found that the cross-coupling effects of the rotor stiffness as well as those of the stator damping and stiffness will benefit the synchronous full annular rubs while the cross-coupling damping of the rotor will reduced the stability domain of the response and lead the system to a response with a heavier rubbing

Making assessment of risk factors of power transformer life cycle cost modeling is an important mean of improving the scientificity of transformer life cycle cost management. Considering the risk factors of transformer life cycle cost, this paper presents risk assessment index system of transformer life cycle cost, applying matter-element model and extension analysis theory to quantify the qualitative indexes in order to assess the risk. Combined with an example, the paper quantifies the uncertain factors of power transformer life cycle cost management in order to build the life cycle cost risk assessment system. It realizes the risk rating of the transformer cost assessment, getting the key risk factors which affect transformer cost so that we can put forward targeted control strategies according to various risk factors in practical engineering.

The structure and working process of automatic vent valve and gas purification equipment is introduced in this paper. To analyze the flow field in the valve, numerical simulations are also performed in the paper. The results show that the valve can greatly reduce the pressure of products from the oil well and acts very well in the control of the blowout on the wellhead. By using the vent valve and gas purification equipment, the back pressure of the well head can be properly handled, the frozen of the output gas can be avoid when the ambient temperature is extremely low, and the stability and reliability of the well head of the pumping unit can be improved greatly. All these can bring broad allied field for the equipment in our country.

The paper is focused on the determination of the number of robots for multi robotic cells that can be part of the line, respectively as an individual, for example sub-assemblies welding of car bodies. This paper describes general process steps of the methodology of design of multi robotic systems with a more detailed description of the determination of number of robots in the workplace. Some methodological steps are illustrated by specific examples.

The paper dealt with surface micro-geometry and influence on generation of unwanted vibrations of bearing units in textile machinery. Any deviation of ideal shape of contact surface of shaft and inner bearing ring considerably influence the shape of bearing rolling race. The dimension and geometry accuracy of shaft is very important for intended lifetime, operating speed and mounting of bearing. Moreover, paper evaluates dependency of dimension and geometry shaft accuracy on bearing lifetime according to experimental measuring.

Manufacturing Grid (MG) is one of the most promising manufacturing modes in recent years, which has been proved to be a complex network characterized with scale-free. In this paper, the resource nodes of MG are treated as the nodes of a network and the linkage among each node is treat as the edges or arcs, based on which a three-element model of G = ( V, E, R) is proposed, and a scene of the optimal composition strategy among the 50 candidate nodes aiming at task A is modeled. Next the static parameter of the degree for a resource node and the synchronization performance of the complex network model for the resource nodes are studied. Results of the paper can promote the management of the manufacturing resource nodes and improve the efficiency of sharing MG resources, so as to facilitate the application and popularization of MG.

This paper discusses some specific problems in the process of palletizing firebrick by industrial robot, and then discusses the optimization of the palletizing method by proposing two optimization goals. First, a mathematical model containing two objectives for the optimization is constructed according to the palletizing problem. Then, in order to solve this optimization model, this paper uses the Pareto genetic algorithm, and states the procedure of this method in detail. Finally, an example is taken to prove the effect of the optimization model by using MATLAB.

For the purpose of the fabrication of the sheet-metal parts with non-horizontal end face using the sheet metal CNC incremental forming technology, two kinds of path generating methods, namely the level path perpendicular to Z axis method and the equidistant path parallel to sheet metal are proposed in this paper. Both of the paths are generated by Visual C++ and OpenGL graphics library, the effect of the two kinds of forming paths to the forming quality of the sheet part with non-horizontal end face is researched using the finite element analysis method in this paper.

The paper researches on the offset error of self-triggering pulsed mini laser radar. It theoretically analyzes the variation of space charge region of PN junction in receiving photodiode. The variation value is affected by the different incident light power. One of conclusion is the laser pulse time-of-flight affected by the variation of incident light power. Another conclusion is the laser pulse width affected by the variation of incident light power as well. The paper proposes the basic equations to describe this phenomenon. In addition, the new designed experimental devices are used to prove that the theoretical analysis is true. This new system can effectively solve the offset error problems, and the negatively impact of offset error will be eliminated on the receiver of self-triggering pulsed mini laser radar system.

Indicating vertical in moving base to establish horizontal reference is of great significance for the near-earth autonomous navigation. Existing vertical indicating device achieves the goal by using gyro stabilized platform, but the gyroscope is difficult to maintain and has drift error. This paper proposes controllable pendulum system that is a stable closed-loop control system and similar to inverted pendulum system to accomplish the purpose. This paper covers the preliminary validation of the controllable system’s ability of indicating vertical in pulse interference cases and raises the defects of system under condition of step disturbance, by establishing mathematical model, designing double output PID controller and analyzing error , which lays the foundation for follow-up study.

Presented paper describes vision-based algorithm for 2D Rubik’s cube state detection suitable for cases in which long-term fixed camera-cube position is not possible. The main focus was to provide a robust algorithm for position and color detection in order to overcome problems observed in previous version. First part of paper describes Hough transform and advanced clustering functions that were used for cube position detection. Described algorithm provides robustness to strong occlusions and various lighting conditions. Second part of paper describes color detection algorithm and problems of prior classification in various color spaces.

The system software is designed based on LabVIEW, which includes the design of temperature controller interface, the construction of virtual system and the design of system interface. The basic objective of this paper is the issue of increasing power output for single-trace motor vehicles, and objective of the experiment was to increase performance through volumetric efficiency, i.e. increase indicated mean effective pressure. The results of the experiment were tested on the specific equipments and in practice. In conclusion paper presents the benefits and results of the experiment. By means of measurements on the performance brake, in the final stage of paper is tested by how much increased power output of the engine after modification, compared to the production engine.

Sensor systems are an essential part of automated equipment. They are even more important in machines that come in contact with people, because they have a significant impact on safety. This paper describes the design of active feedback for rehabilitation device driven by pneumatic artificial muscles. Here are presented three methods for measuring the load of the robot. The first is a system composed of Force Sensitive Resistors (FSR) placed in the handle of the device. Two other methods are intended to measure the load of the actuator composed of artificial muscles. The principle of one method is to measure the difference in filling pressures of the muscles, second is based on strain measurement in the drive cables. The paper describes advantages and disadvantages of using each of these methods in a rehabilitation device.

This paper presents a PIR regulator using direct torque control strategy of grid connected wind turbine driven doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) when the grid voltage is unbalanced. Under the unbalanced grid voltage condition, the stator voltage and current quality is strongly affected due to the negative and distorted components. It will be reducing the performance of other normal loads connected to the DFIG. That control scheme consisting of indirect matrix converter using DTC. To verify the value of the proposed control strategy, simulation results with 500 MVA DFIG topology are presented and discussed in the paper. Finally,the simulation studies are carried out on a 500 MVA wind-turbine driven DFIG system under unbalanced grid voltage conditions. All the results are validated by using PSCAD simulation.

The topic of this paper is the description of different approaches to numerical simulation of prestressed concrete in computational system ANSYS 14.5. Due to increasing popularity of the numerical simulations, the paper aims to divide and describe simple methods and related aspects of modeling prestress on the finite element level. The paper contains three main part: the analytical solution, the numerical solution and the final comparison of the results. The obtained numerical results proved applicability of FEA for solving problems of prestressed concrete elements.

According Robot roller hemming is known as an assembly method with high flexibility and automated rate for closures in automotive bodies. The hemming tool is manipulated by controlling the industrial robot to complete the formation of closures (i.e. doors, hoods, tailgates and trunklids). In this paper, we shall first briefly introduce the rope hemming process, detail on the impact of process parameters on the rope height, roll-in and roll-out with the FEA model to simulate the rope hemming process. Then the rope hemming defects are discussed in later sections. This paper studies the process parameters and the methods to improve the rope hemming quality and provides a good reference for the practical application.

The purpose of this paper is to elaborate not on the bionic pattern of walking robot. Our own simple idea of 4 degree of freedom (DOF) walking robot with the ability to walk on flat surfaces, rotate and climbing upstairs was made using vertical moved legs with rotary foot and additional controlled mass. In this paper, based on former idea, prototype model for only flat surface walking task 3 DOF were presented. Parts of the robot are moving thanks to servo motors. The paper contains kinematics and centre of gravity analysis, presentation of robot and its control system made using Pololu controller. Conducted experiments confirmed presented idea.

Rubik’s solver is prime example of science popularizing mechatronic device, combining computer vision techniques, advanced Rubik’s cube solving algorithm and control of industrial pneumatic components. First version of solver constructed by our department was equipped only by 2 lower grippers, resulting in approximately four minutes for single cube solution. Proposed paper describes not only experience gained by development of upgraded 4 gripper version but includes statistical analysis of Thistlethwait’s 45 algorithm required for solving process optimization. Mechanical design, electronics, system overview, performance and limitations of upgraded 4 gripper version are explained in detail as well. Development of vision algorithm for robust cube detection is described in conjoint paper “Robust detection of Rubik’s cube state using Hough transform and advanced clustering functions.”

In order to establish a three-dimensional model of the crankshaft piston group, the paper puts forward the application of feature modeling method. This method is that the designers extracting the Boolean operation directly from the feature library formed the design and definition of the part model. The paper analyzes the contact between the crankshaft features and its expression, using the Pro-E to build the feature model of crankshaft and the piston-connecting rod group which based on the 4JB1 diesel engine, forming a three-dimensional assembly drawing which provides the new ideas for the design and manufacturing personnel.

In this paper numerical simulation is carried out using commercially available tool Fluent® to predict the performance of a Wells turbine in an oscillating water column wave energy convertor. A wells turbine is the turbo machinery that rotates in same direction as the air flow through the turbine in either axial direction. The main aim of this investigation is to predict complex flow mechanism like separation and recirculation around the turbine blades and subsequently reduction in torque coefficient at higher flow rate. Numerical simulations have been executed by solving the RANS equations together with k-w SST turbulence model. Then a detailed description of flow and overall performance analysis at different flow rate is presented in this paper.

In the manufacturing process of artificial diamond micro powder, if tungsten steel pressure hammer of diamond press makes a tungsten steel hammer pressure crack due to fatigue of workpiece, it is always leading to significant economic losses. The pressure hammer detection and protection device of the diamond press introduced in this paper takes advantage of the voiceprint recognition technology. Firstly, it extracts the characteristic parameters of pressure hammer breaking voice and establishes a sound pressure hammer breaking template library. And then, the paper compares the work field sound characteristic parameters of diamond press and pressure hammer breaking template library. If they are consistent with each other, the work power of diamond press will be cut down. Thus, it implements protection for the rest good pressure hammers.

The Paper presents the buckling response of composite annular plates with under uniform internal and external radial edge loads using energy method. For the equation of stability Trefftez rule is used. The paper consists of buckling behavior of laminate (90/0) s, influence of some parameters such as thickness, boundary condition, aspect ratio on buckling loads and modes are investigated. Present results are compared with other papers. In this paper the effect of % weight of carbon nanotube (MWCNT) on the buckling load is also investigated.

Micro EDM is a nonconventional machining method which has gained researcher’s attention during the past decade. After the success in industrial applications of EDM, focus has been to scale down the entire system to a smaller size. The capability of the process to machine extremely hard and difficult to machine materials has made it a suitable candidate for machining the next generation engineering materials. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop μEDM setup with piezo actuated tool feed mechanism. The holes are machined on copper plates of thickness 300μm with varying process parameters like voltage, frequency and duty cycle. The design of experiment method has been used to carry out the experiments in a systematic manner. The quality of holes produced is studied using optical microscope and SEM images. The results obtained are presented in this paper.

The purpose of this paper is aimed at according to the "highway reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete bridge and culvert design specifications (JTG D62-2004) and (JTJ 023-85) design of jacking construction of continuous girder bridge for reliability analysis. By establishing a finite element model of construction stage and into a bridge stage respectively the reliability index of the typical cross section is analyzed. Aiming at construction stage, by choosing typical cross section of reliability analysis, draw a cross section of reliability index with the change of construction stage. Calculation results show that, according to JTG D62-2004 specification of reliability index calculation results than based on results of calculating the JTJ 023-85 specification. In this paper, the analysis results can provide reference for pushing the construction of the continuous girder bridge design.

In this paper, the main design parameters of 750 kw horizontal-axis wind turbine wheel are computed based on simplified theoretical design model; The airfoil coordinates of the blade derived from Profili are spatial switched in Excel, then the spatial coordinates of every foline are obtained; In SolidWorks, the curves of foline outlines are drawn on the basis of former coordinates. Eventually, the 3D model of the blade is created by loft surfacing according to the foline outlines. The blade model created in this paper could be used in the coming finite element analysis.

The double-fed control strategy for AC hoist motor is discussed in this paper. The AC/DC/AC power converter is adopted as main circuit. Three-phase neutral-point-clamped three-level rectifier is used as AC/DC link to realize unity power factor at grid-side, which reduces harmonic distortions. For the DC/AC inverter, three-level topology is used, which is controlled by stator-flux oriented vector control method. Meanwhile, energy flows in bidirectional way by back to back three-level power converter. The hoist motor control system obtains a high dynamic performance when stator side operating in unity power factor condition. The reliability and safety of hoist system is improved based on double PLC. The control system mentioned in this paper is being used to control a shaft hoist with a capacity of 260kW, and the power saving is remarkable.

In general, aerostatic bearings are flat bearings and the stringent manufacturing tolerances in geometric dimensions and profile will make the bearing ideal for obtaining high stiffness during measurement. Aerostatic Spherical Bearing (ASB) on the contrary is a special bearing which provides a frictionless pivot and allows three degrees of rotational freedom. Methods involved in manufacturing and realizing a highly stiff ASB is discussed in this paper. ASB components viz. Stator and Rotor of hemi-spherical in geometry are the critical components to be machined, which are used in Mass properties and Dynamic Balancing Measurement machine (MaPDBM). MaPDBM is used to measure mass, center of gravity, moments of inertia and static & dynamic unbalance of spacecraft. An air film of 25-50 μm thickness separates the stator and rotor during measurement, thus forming an aerostatic bearing. Precise Machining, Thermal treatments to ensure crash-proof design, Special processes like lapping for profile correction, Geometrical and profile measurements during different stages in the sequence for controlling the bearing parameters using Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) are the challenges involved in the machining and realization of the ASB components and the same is discussed in this paper.

In today’s era automation in the production is a key parameter of interest. Rise in the productivity is the main aim of every industry. To sustain in the global era many companies are switching their assembly line from manual to automatic. Consequently, assembly systems should be more flexible and efficient. Even which process needs the automation should be justified to make it automatic. The amount of automation and payback period plays an important role. On that basis authors identify the back plug process needs to be automate. So an attempt is made to design an Automatic Back Plug Press Fitting Process. The paper describes the design, modeling and manufacturing aspects of this process. In automation decisions, it is necessary to consider human resources, as well as mechanical technology and information flow. The paper also includes rise in the productivity along with payback period.

In this paper we designed a 5.8GHZ microstrip antenna whose relative bandwidth is 3.77% and return loss is-36.941dB. It meets the needs of RFID systems.Besides, the resonant frequency of the antennas is reduced to 5.2GHZ, after adding the “I” ring resonator. Also, the paper shows that the other performance of the antenna still meet the RFID system requirements. It is 47.1% of the original size after adjusting the resonant frequency of the antenna to 5. 8GHz.

In shear wall structure with supporting frames, the whole structure' s bearing mechanism is greatly influenced by the opening of shear wall on transfer beam under vertical loads. In this paper, finite element analyses of bearing wall with different type of opening transfer beams subjected to vertical loads were carried out, the influences of opening on transfer beam and shear wall were studied, the stress distribution law and the position of the neutral axises of the transfer beams were presented. The analysis results showed that horizontal stress and the neutral axises of transfer beam change with opening ratio of wall.The points offered in the paper can be referred in shear wall structure with supporting frames design.

Infilled wall is always regarded as a nonload bearing element, its energy-dissipation capacity and impact for the frame structure under earthquake have not been taken seriously. In this paper the function of infilled wall for frame structure was discussed, energy-dissipation capacity of different measures were analysed and compared from the point of passive control theory. This paper provides the reference for the further research of filler wall.

In this paper, a model predictive controller for the position tracking of flexible robot joints with harmonic drive gears is presented. The control methodology enables the drive's safety and physical constraints on torque and speed variables while guaranteeing the stability of the system. The effect of the predictive horizon on the drive performance is examined. Moreover, the influence of parameter changes is tested in this paper. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed controller is very effective in tracking position references while meeting the demanding drive constraints requirements during operation.

In order to improve the accuracy of lane mark line identifying and tracking, this paper uses the LOG operator for edge enhancement, so the useful information is changed into straight lines and the useful feature is obvious. And the paper uses the algorithm of 2-D gray histogram to segment the image. Then it uses Hough transformation to identify the lane mark’s two edges and account its intercept and slope, then draws the midline as the final identifying result. Finally in order to reduce the count time, the paper uses the identifying results of the last frame image limit the current frame image recognition areas in tracking lane mark. The experiments results show that the lane mark can be tracking dependably and the algorithms are real-time, moreover, when the algorithm is failure, the system can also recover in time, and locks the tracking target accurately again.

— This paper will describe the interfacing of multiple wireless cameras to a computer for the purpose to provide monocular vision for robot soccer. The paper describes two methods, PostMux and PreMux which uses two types of wireless camera receiver. The pro and con of these methods are tabulated and compared. Important criteria such as power and bandwidth consumption of the USB port when connected to the computer are listed. Final selection for the application of monocular vision in robot soccer is concluded.

This paper establishes computer CFD simulation mathematical model of large commercial buildings according to the principle of cubic interpolation function and determines the cubic interpolation function based on triangular elements method. It concludes the cubic polynomial in the process of simulation which improves the efficiency of computer simulation. This paper introduces modeling process and flow diagram of simulation process of numerical simulation of natural ventilation simulation of commercial building. It also simulates the indoor ventilation of building which treats the logistics field model of commercial tower building as the object of study. It concludes two-dimensional and three-dimensional contours of air and humidity. Finally, this paper gets the environmental distribution of the temperature through the simulation calculation and draws temperature change curve with distance which provides technical reference for the design of ventilation safe indoor.

The computer aided tools and recent developments of engineering, emphasizes the importance of bringing manufacturing process into early stage for product and process design. The implied significance is that it becomes vital to reduce cost of product by extensive use of CAD tools for product formation without actually building the product. In this paper, CAD tools are used to design an extrusion die for bolt ejector pin. In this paper, the extrusion die used to produce the pin is modeled using Pro-E, a CAD tool. Then, the die is analyzed for the maximum extrusion load condition using ANSYS software, a Finite Element Analysis simulation (FEA) tool. The simulation results are compared with yield stress of material. After the die has been designed, the pin was extruded using the die. In order to evaluate the strength of extruded pin, the pin was also modeled and analyzed using ANSYS tool where it was found to be safe for its maximum ejection load condition.Keywords:Extrusiondiedesign,ejectorpin,Computeraidedmodelling(CAD),FiniteElementAnalysis(FEA).

This paper studied on the underwater vibrating compaction technology of scattering-filling rubble stone layer. At HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge project, in order to satisfy the project time limit, underwater vibrating compaction technology with hydraulic hammer instead of conventional dynamic compaction technology was used to tamp scattering-filling rubble stone layer with no dead angle in a short time. Owing to the shortage of engineering example, the theoretical analysis was needed before field application. In this paper, the rubble stone layer and the vibration system were simplified to a mechanical model. Vibration system’s work on rubble stone was obtained by mathematical derivation, and effects of parameters were analyzed. The result shows that work on scattering-filling rubble stone layer increases with the increase of system quality, equivalent damping, exciting force and angular velocity and decreases with the increase of equivalent stiffness, water stiffness and buoyancy.

This paper focuses on the recent advancements made in hydraulic motor. Various parameters of hydraulic motors are studied and their performance with respect to the parameters is studied. nonlinear dynamics model, Gear motor, swash plate motor, radial piston hydraulic motor etc have been examined. Fault diagnosis, dynamic vibration, frictional analysis and speed variation are some of the issues which are being discussed in the paper. The performance results showed that the amplitude of vibration increased with the increase of output torque of the water hydraulic motor and the hydraulic motor with planetary gear train has the advantages of large unit volume displacement and small flow rate fluctuation ratio. As an important technological means for engines’ low emission with high efficiency, variable valve agency is widely applied in the new-type machine’s R&D and the old-type machine’s modification. This paper applies AVL BOOST one-dimensional simulation software to the working process of the small displacement electronic control gasoline engine and proceeds with the analog simulating calculation. The data error between the calculated result and the original experiment one is less than 5%, so the calculation precision meets the requirements. As formulating simulation study programs and analyzing the valve timing parameters’ impact on the low-emission electronic control gasoline engine’s performances, this paper finds the intake duration angle, the exhaust advance angle, and the valve overlap, all receive big impacts; the original machine’s valve timing optimizes the treatment of working conditions with high speed while sacrificing the power performance of low-speed working conditions. On this basis, this paper designs the variable valve mechanism, and improves the original machine’s medium-and-low rotating speed’s torque by 10% or so.

WSN (Wireless sensor network) using ZigBee has aroused people’s high interest, ZigBee is considered to be a general solution in many fields such as intelligent household, industrial application, security monitoring and medical application. But wireless sensor network can only provide service within a certain range, in order to overcome this limitation and provide remote application capacity, this paper proposes a technological solutions for the interconnection of ZigBee network and the Ethernet, develops a ZigBee gateway based on ARM platform. Based on the analysis of the ZigBee protocol stack and TCP/IP protocol stack, the protocol conversion mechanism of ZigBee and TCP/IP is presented. Through transplantation LwIP protocol stack, this paper achieves the goal of connecting gateway to Internet, and finally realizes the conversion from ZigBee network to TCP/IP network.

This paper presents a method to investigate the dynamic behavior of a turning high-speed spindle system. The machine tool main spindle unit is focused on direct driven spindle units for high-speed and high performance cutting. This paper analyzes the static behavior for a turning machine spindle and presents some activities to improve the CAD model for such complex systems. The proposed models take into account the spindle with the bearing detailed system. The analysis was performed during the design activity and was based on Finite Elements Method. Starting from the 3D model, using FEM done by means of ANSYS analysis, structural dynamic behavior was evaluated. The aim of this paper is to develop a finite element model of the machine spindle system and use this method for design optimization. The 3D model was designed using the Solidworks CAD software. In order to obtain accurate dynamic characteristics of the spindle-bearing system during the design stage, the finite element model is simulated using dedicated software, and a method in which springs and damping units imitate bearing support. The proposed method can predict the regular pattern in which bearing stiffness and bearing span affect natural frequency and harmonic response. The research demonstrates that this method predicts the dynamic characteristics of the spindle-bearing system therefore it can be a reference for dynamic optimization design of spindle-bearing systems in turn-milling centers. The static analysis was presented in another paper. The thermal analysis will be presented in a future paper.

The static analysis was completed by modal, harmonic response and thermal analysis, but their results will be presented in other papers.
