Return voltage diagnostic method is an effective method of non-destructive diagnosis in transformer insulating state. The current study is that through experiments get polarization spectrum to analysis the transformer insulating state, but not yet carried out the influence of various factors to the experimental results. So, based on the Debye model and specific parameters comes from one equivalent model of the actual transformer, this paper using RVM methods to simulation analysis maximum return voltage and dominant time constant under different factors. Simulation results show that the diagnostic methods that combine maximum return voltage value with dominant time constant can preferably reflect the transformer insulation state.

The size and the number of folds severely affect the performance of the diesel fuel filter. Computational fluid dynamics method was applied to diesel filter internal flow simulation, and flow pressure lost was test to verify the simulation result. CFD result shown that, when the filter paper angle less than 3°, the internal flow resistance of fuel filter grown rapidly. The flow resistance decreased slowly when filter paper angle of greater than 6°. If filter paper angle was less than 3 °, effective filter area of filter decreased sharply, and filtration efficiency was lower than limit. The filter paper dust capacity increased rapidly, when filter paper angle was greater than 4.5 °, which prolonged filter life. In order to ensure the flow resistance, filtration efficiency and service life, the angle of the filter paper should be between 3 ° to 4.5 °.

Bearing fault signal presents obvious nonlinear and non-stationary characteristics, and local mean decomposition (LMD) method can adaptively process nonlinear and non-stationary signal. Quadratic phase coupling is one of the commonest nonlinear phenomena, and three-order cumulant diagonal slice spectrum is suitable for the extraction of the frequency components involved in quadratic phase coupling. In order to effectively detect the fault features of rolling bearing, a fault feature detection method of rolling bearing based on LMD and diagonal slice spectrum was proposed in the paper. Diagonal slice spectrum was applied in the extraction of the frequency components involved in quadratic phase coupling from the simulation signal, and it successfully extracted the quadratic phase coupling frequency components of the , and . The method was finally used in the detection of the bearing inner race fault features, and the results demonstrated that compared with diagonal slice spectrum of the PF component signals, the diagonal slice spectrum of the PF component envelope signals can identify fault characteristics much clearer and brighter. Meanwhile, the effective extraction of the inner race fault features verified the effectiveness and practicability of the method proposed in this paper.

This paper investigates the possibility to individually balance the specific shaking forces and shaking moment of the slider-crank mechanism. The most common mean of balancing the slider crank mechanism is to use a counter mass. This solution is applied for almost every slider-crank mechanism used in commercial mechanical devices. However the nature of the mechanism does not allow a perfect balancing in such a way. The different nature of motions that govern the piston displacement and crank rotation imply that a counter mass can only statically balance the mechanism. An ideal dynamic balancing cannot be achieved this way. Therefore in this paper the excitations that act on the mechanism are split by the nature of motion that generates them and balanced accordingly. Two motions are defined, respectively the motion of the piston and the motion of the crank. The inertia force associated with the crank motion is balanced by building a dynamically equivalent system around the axis of the crankshaft while the excitation associated with the motion of the piston is balanced with a progressive spring with two rates.

In the paper, we experimentally analyze a pneumatic actuator and possibilities of piston positioning. Paper shows mathematical model of pneumatic actuator. Actuator is experimentally tested and therefor experimental stand is assembled for the purposes of positioning of actuator piston. The changing parameters during the experiment are weight of load and pneumatic pressure. The results show how these parameters can have influence on precise positioning of pneumatic actuator. For experiment there is purposely used open loop control system. The aim of the study is not to show control method for positioning but to show influence of mentioned parameters.

The specific objectives of rehabilitation medicine are maintaining and recovering human body functions, as well as preventing dysfunctionalities by means of kinetic and orthotic techniques and a variety of equipment for support and adaptation. The latter are medical systems facilitating the exercise of muscles at constant or variable speeds according to professional recommendations. The paper presents and discusses the control of rehabilitation equipment designed for the passive mobilisation exercises of joints. The novelty of such equipment resides in its actuation by pneumatic muscles, as well as in its control by means of an SPC 200 controller and WinPISA software. The paper presents a number of examples of rehabilitation programmes and the corresponding motion graphs of the rehabilitation equipment sliding block.

This paper presents a new mechanical design of mobile robot which can travel in the condition of continuous varying environment, such as colon of human body. Especially, the human colon environment contains an intense diameter change. The suggested mechanical design is capable to adapt in wide diameter changing system by generating two basic motions, rotational and linear motion, with a single actuator. Prototypes is fabricated, and tested result is presented in this paper. Also, experimental result is compared with the mathematical model of the mechanism to verify the feasibility of the proposed mechanism.

This paper discusses the implementation of an adaptive fuzzy autopilot for a scale ship model using a Fuzzy Model Reference Learning Controller (FMRLC). Initially, a fuzzy singleton model of the scale ship model is obtained from experimental input and output data gathered from the turning circle manoeuvre. After that, the paper describes how to design a Fuzzy Model Reference Learning Controller (FMRLC) for controlling the directional heading of the scale ship model. At the end, results of the implementation of the adaptive ship autopilot are showed.

Based on the characteristics of the back electromotive force (back-EMF), the rotor position information would be detected. Hence, the main theme of this paper is to design a practical approach to detect the zero cross point (ZCP) of back-EMF through virtual neutral voltage for sensorless brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drives. In contrast to conventional methods, the real neutral voltage of motor is not needed. In order to compensate the phase delay of the back-EMF due to low-pass filter (LPF) under different speeds, a voltage-controlled phase shifter, consisted of hysteresis comparator and voltage-controlled resistor (VCR), is proposed in this paper. The detail circuit model is introduced and some experimental results obtained from a sensorless prototype are shown to confirm the practicality of proposed senosorless drive method.

This paper produces experimental results comparing operational loss of a power transformer under rated and nonlinear load. A 2kVA three phase three legged dry type power transformer is primarily designed for rated loss; however it is operated with a nonlinear load. Three phase rectifier with variable capacitors is the selected current harmonic source and the distortion at current waveform is controlled by the capacitance values. Initially the operation losses under rated load is measured and then followed with measurement with nonlinear load. At the end of this paper, both type of operation losses is compared and differentiated.

The purpose of this paper is not to elaborate the bionic pattern of walking robot, but to elaborate our own simple idea of a 4 degree of freedom (DOF) walking robot with the ability to walk on flat surfaces, rotate and climbing upstairs, which is composed of vertical moved legs with a rotary foot and a controlled mass for stabilizing. In this paper, based on the former idea, a prototype model of a 3-DOF walking robot is presented for walking only on flat surfaces. This walking robot is actuated by servo motors. The paper covers the kinematics, centre of gravity analysis, description of the robot and its control system made using Pololu controller. Experiments confirmed the feasibility of the proposed design.

This paper summarises the results obtained from a study of the conditions required to achieve self-balanced mechanical systems. The design self-balanced systems composed of single-loop spatial mechanisms with a common drive shaft, is reviewed. The paper explains how the problems are solved by selecting the relative angles of the mechanism's cranks, their number and mutual arrangement. The resulting self-balancing criteria enable the construction of spatial mechanical systems with predetermined levels of residual imbalance.

The structural characteristics and the working principle of inertial rotary vibrating screen are introduced in this paper. The inertial rotary vibrating screen is a kind of high efficient equipment for the screening classification of dry and wet fine materials. It has the features of simple and compact structure, convenient installation and disassembly, stable work operation, no sieve pore blocking, high screening efficiency, and the whole machine closure without polluting environment. The nonlinear vibration equations of inertial rotary vibrating screen are established, considering the nonlinear forces of materials. An approximate solution and the material combination coefficient and drag coefficient for the vibration equations are solved by equivalent linearization method of nonlinear theory. A calculation example is also given in this paper.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an intelligent mobile robot using image processing technology. The mobile robot is composed of a visual tracking system, a loading platform, a balance control system, a PC-based controller, four ultrasonic sensors and a power system. We develop a PC based control system for image processing and path planning. The mobile robot can track a moving target and adjust the loading platform by the balance control system simultaneously. The Image processing based on OpenCV use two different tracking methods, MTLT (Match Template Learning Tracking) and TLD (Tracking, Learning and Detection), to track moving targets. The efficiencies of both methods for tracking the moving target on the mobile robot are compared in this paper. The loading platform control system uses HOLTEK Semiconductor Company's HT66F Series 8-bit microprocessor as the processor, and receives the feedback data from the FAS-A inclinometer sensor. The controller of the loading platform uses the PID control law according to the feedback signals of the inclinometer sensor, and controls the rotation speed of the platform motor to tune the balance level. In view of the inefficiency and the poor flexibility of the recent intelligent lighting control system, this paper proposes a new control method starting from sensor, controller and LED driver circuit, meanwhile connecting with the Internet of things technologies. The most striking feature of this control is that it is refactored in the aspect of the whole system, which can reach the purposes of scene control, timing control, multi-zone control and remote control, etc. This paper also elaborates the hardware circuit design and the working principle of the control system and the method to realize the remote control. The system can operate simply, control efficiently, transmit reliably, manage easily.

Critical clearing time is to determine the time point of the collapse of the power system when the power system occur transient stability by a huge of failure. So that the one is an important data on protection system in power system. Therefore as an electrical engineer must to look on mostly the point of one to analyze and design in the power. In this paper, through the protection relay and breaker analysis of operation to know the team of protection relay how to complete the automatic monitoring and isolated the fault-equipment in power system. To study and analyze the swing equation and equal area criterion, we found out the relation of critical clearing time is changed with power factor and frequency. The critical clearing time was verified a non-constant value which is changed with the power factor and; if the load power factor is high, the critical clearing time is high but the frequency is high, the critical clearing time is low with system swing in the transient stability. This paper will be verify below each paragraph.

Steady-state magnetic field superconducting magnet power adopted double-inverse-star thyristor rectifier solutions, it is a typical non-linear load which will bring great reactive power impact and harmonic pollution at runtime. In this paper, according to the scheme of scientific facility chain-type high voltage active power filter (APF), a three-grade voltage balance control of capacitor method was proposed. Considering the non-linear characteristics of APF, we using fractional order PI controller instead of ordinary PI controller. The solution of fractional order calculus is realized based on the improved Oustaloup algorithm. Finally, the working effect of fractional order PI controller and ordinary PI controller are comparative analysis through simulation and experimental results, the results show that the DC voltage balance control strategy used in this paper is correct, and has a certain reference value.

This paper proposes a stator flux estimation method for induction motor based on Prescribed Convergence Law algorithm. A stator flux observer is designed and applied for direct torque control (DTC) of induction motor. The observer tracks stator current and its differential with Prescribed Convergence Law algorithm of second order sliding mode in order to estimate rotor flux, and then estimate stator flux using the relationship between stator flux and rotor flux. This paper takes the differential of estimated flux error as disturbance and divides the MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) observer model into two separate SISO (single input single output) systems, which simplifies the stability analysis. The observer is applied to DTC of induction motor and achieves a good control effect. Simulation experiment results validate the proposed method.

A control strategy and implement method for the no-load cutting-in of double-fed induction generator in power system are introduced. The paper analyze the basal principle of DFIG under no-load condition, and build the correspondent mathematical model. Then according to the model, the paper propose a control strategy on the basis of magnetic flux linkage vector orientation control. Using simulation software set up a simulation model. The result of simulation showed that: the no-load grid connection control strategy can effectively keep the stator voltage track the time-varing grid voltage. At the interconnection instant, the impulse current is almost zero, thus the soft cutting-in of DFIG is well realized.

The paper deals with the improvement of quality control system harmonic drive with servo applying the method of compensation torque oscillations. The method consists of applying the rejection block. Post documents the oscillatory nature of the system servo-harmonic transmission. Described the reduction block connected to this system suppresses the oscillation of torque, speed and position of the harmonic drive output shaft thereby improving the quality of the regulatory process.The papers solves the problem of torque oscillations of the system which consist of servomotor and harmonic drive. Described rejection filter connected to the input of the system damps oscillations and increases the quality of control.

In the view of the traditional purely mechanical regulator’s disadvantage, this paper proposed a new type intelligent gas pressure regulator. Its advantage is the ability to achieve accurate output pressure, remote control and centralized management. It can resist the disturbance of inlet pressure and flow rate changes. In this paper, we introduce the regulator’s structure, working principle, mathematics model and simulation model. According to the simulation result, it can basically meet the working demand.

As a new type of vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicles, four-rotor unmanned aircraft has strong load capacity, simple structure, flexible operation Characteristics, so it is the preferred method of execution the air, and is widely used in military and civil field. Based on four-rotor aircraft structure and movement theory, this paper designs the aircaft control system based on ARM. Based on upper machine, the design of PID control algorithm was tested in this paper. From the results, the stability of the controller is good, and its speed control is superior to the single closed-loop.

With the development of modern aviation technology, the structure of aircraft engine as the heart of the plane is more and more complicated. The problem of people’s concern is how to monitor engine condition and realize the fast fault diagnosis of engine. In this paper, the method of support vector machine (SVM) combing evidence theory decides whether a signal is a fault signal on the base of researching the engine vibration mechanism and the characteristics of rotor fault vibration signals. This method avoids the defects giving the single information though the traditional method which is unable to predict the tendency of the engine safety. Evidence theory meets weaker conditions than Bayesian probability theory. It can express "uncertain" and "unknown" directly. Therefore the paper makes information fusion in combination with evidence theory in different measuring points and different working conditions of engine. This method not only can identify small sample and nonlinear system, but also fuse information which gets more evidence samples effectively. At the same time, the posterior probability diagnosis results can predict the development trend of the fault accurately. Output in the form of probability can deepen the cognition about the present situation of the engine and better observe the safety of the trend of engine simultaneously. It can facilitate the management and protection in time.

This paper presents the speed performance of an induction motor by using a vector control. The control scheme used is an indirect vector control for define speed command. The main focus of this research is to observe on the dynamic speed performance of the induction motor when the command speed is given to the motor. In this study, the system of indirect vector control will be built by using Matlab Simulink. In fact, the expression of exciting flux linkage and electromagnetic torque are used to create a simple embedded system which to find out the effects of flux weakening in motor while, the gain of the speed controller is 100. The result shows that the vector control method will cause immediate the motor speed response with a small electromagnetic torque ripple. Furthermore, the output mechanical torque starts to decrease when the motor speed above the base speed to maintain a constant output power operation. This paper contributes a new algorithm to analysis the system when the speed motor is higher than a base speed.

In this paper, voltage fluctuation and stability analysis of critical buses was performed using multiple indexes to power system with wind farm connected. Considering the intermittency and randomness of wind speed, this paper constructed three voltage fluctuation indexes according to the characteristic of voltage random distribution. Bus voltage stability index was also calculated with the help of PV and QV curves in the paper. The simulation analysis performed in the DIgSILENT/PowerFactory basing on three machines nine nodes system with double-fed wind farm was carried out to reveal the impacts of wind generation uncertainty on voltage fluctuation and stability.

The objective of this paper is to design a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) and linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controllers for an active anti-roll bar system. The use of an active anti-roll bar will be analysed from two different perspectives in vehicle ride comfort and handling performances. This paper proposed the basic vehicle dynamic modelling with four degree of freedom (DOF) on half car model and are described that show, why and how it is possible to control the handling and ride comfort of the car, with the external forces also control strategies on the front anti-roll bar. By simulation analysis, the design model is validity and the performance under control of linear quadratic regulator (LQR) and linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controller are achieved. Both two controllers are modeled in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. It has to be determined which control strategy delivers better performance with respect to roll angle and the roll rate of half vehicle body. The result shows, however, that LQG produced better response compared to a LQR strategy.

A specific problem of the wind turbines refers to the difference between the low rotation speed of the wind turbine rotor and the high rotation speed needed for the electrical generator. Usually, the adaptation between the speed of the turbine rotor and the electrical generator speed is achieved by means of a speed increaser. A recent alternative relates to the use of coaxial counter-rotating wind turbines, which can achieve higher power and improve the conversion efficiency of the wind energy into electrical energy (up to 25%) with a reduced cost of approx. 20-30% compared to similar single rotor turbines. Conceptually, the counter-rotating wind turbine systems can integrate a particular generator wherein the rotor is coupled to a row of blades and the stator with another row of blades, or a commonly generator, coupled to a differential planetary gear, that allows the summation of the blades motions.The paper describes and analyzes kinematic and dynamic aspects of a system consisting of two coaxial counter-rotating turbines and a generator, interconnected by a planetary gear with two inputs (the two turbines) and an output (the generator). The algorithm is based on the property of the differential planetary gear of adding two input motions into one output motion. The kinematic and dynamic parameters of the planetary gear are established in the paper, and a case study is further presented: a small wind turbine equipped with a transmission enabling input speed multiplication.

Basing on the fact that requirements for shift quality in automatic transmissions have been increasing rapidly necessitates the establishment of a suitable shifting control strategy in order to facilitate smoothness of different processes, this paper introduces a simulation model of an 8-speed automatic transmission for front-drive vehicles with respect to detailed shifting strategies and relative parameters. The transmitted torque of the oncoming shift elements before synchronization point can be reduced by an impact function in order to damp the impact and thus make the gear shifting process more smooth. This paper makes a systematic introduction of the structure of 8AT, theoretical basis of control strategy, the establishment of the simulation model and the comparison between test results and simulation results. The conclusion shows that with an accurate dynamic model, simulation results and test results are neighborhood data, the simulation model can be used to help realizing the ultimate goal of better shift quality with higher efficiency, lower shift loads and improved shifting comfort.

Indicating vertical in moving base to establish horizontal reference is of great significance for the near-earth autonomous navigation. Existing vertical indicating device achieves the goal by using gyro stabilized platform, but the gyroscope is difficult to maintain and has drift error. This paper proposes controllable pendulum system that is a stable closed-loop control system and similar to inverted pendulum system to accomplish the purpose. This paper covers the preliminary validation of the controllable system’s ability of indicating vertical in pulse interference cases and raises the defects of system under condition of step disturbance, by establishing mathematical model, designing double output PID controller and analyzing error , which lays the foundation for follow-up study.

The computer virtual control method for thermostatic process of sand casting and gas forming tester system is studied in this paper. The system software is designed based on LabVIEW, which includes the design of temperature controller interface, the construction of virtual system and the design of system interface. This paper is of certain directive significance to future exploitation of virtual control system.

This paper presents a PIR regulator using direct torque control strategy of grid connected wind turbine driven doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) when the grid voltage is unbalanced. Under the unbalanced grid voltage condition, the stator voltage and current quality is strongly affected due to the negative and distorted components. It will be reducing the performance of other normal loads connected to the DFIG. That control scheme consisting of indirect matrix converter using DTC. To verify the value of the proposed control strategy, simulation results with 500 MVA DFIG topology are presented and discussed in the paper. Finally,the simulation studies are carried out on a 500 MVA wind-turbine driven DFIG system under unbalanced grid voltage conditions. All the results are validated by using PSCAD simulation.

The double-fed control strategy for AC hoist motor is discussed in this paper. The AC/DC/AC power converter is adopted as main circuit. Three-phase neutral-point-clamped three-level rectifier is used as AC/DC link to realize unity power factor at grid-side, which reduces harmonic distortions. For the DC/AC inverter, three-level topology is used, which is controlled by stator-flux oriented vector control method. Meanwhile, energy flows in bidirectional way by back to back three-level power converter. The hoist motor control system obtains a high dynamic performance when stator side operating in unity power factor condition. The reliability and safety of hoist system is improved based on double PLC. The control system mentioned in this paper is being used to control a shaft hoist with a capacity of 260kW, and the power saving is remarkable.

In this paper, a model predictive controller for the position tracking of flexible robot joints with harmonic drive gears is presented. The control methodology enables the drive's safety and physical constraints on torque and speed variables while guaranteeing the stability of the system. The effect of the predictive horizon on the drive performance is examined. Moreover, the influence of parameter changes is tested in this paper. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed controller is very effective in tracking position references while meeting the demanding drive constraints requirements during operation.

This paper focuses on the recent advancements made in hydraulic motor. Various parameters of hydraulic motors are studied and their performance with respect to the parameters is studied. nonlinear dynamics model, Gear motor, swash plate motor, radial piston hydraulic motor etc have been examined. Fault diagnosis, dynamic vibration, frictional analysis and speed variation are some of the issues which are being discussed in the paper. The performance results showed that the amplitude of vibration increased with the increase of output torque of the water hydraulic motor and the hydraulic motor with planetary gear train has the advantages of large unit volume displacement and small flow rate fluctuation ratio. This paper presents the operational principle, architecture design, resonance characteristics and FEM simulation of a new fully decoupled dual-mass silicon micro-gyroscope. The drive motion and sense motion of the micro-gyroscope studied in this paper are isolated from each other, mechanical quadrature error is thus dramatically suppressed due to the minimizing of undesired coupling between the drive and sense modes. Moreover,two identical single-mass gyroscopes are adopted and coupled with coupling beams to form a dual-mass micro-gyroscope, which provides enhanced common mode rejection in a differential mode. Finally, modal and harmonic analyses are implemented by FEM software, the simulation results obtained verify the good properties of the novel micro-gyroscope.

This paper presented a magnetic pendulum to scavenge the human kinetic energy from arm motion and convert the kinetic energy to electrical energy for portable electronic devices. The harvester mainly consisted of a stator, a rotor and a control circuit. The stator was set of electric coils while the rotor is an eccentric mass made of permanent magnet. A torsion spring was also added onto the rotor such that the motions in both horizontal and vertical directions can be effectively harvested. The energy harvester could be worn on human arm. When the arm was in motion, the device would then generate power. The paper presented a detailed kinematical analysis and power conversion analysis. As a typical case, the device was 40 mm in diameter and 50 g in weight, the simulation showed that when worn on wrist, it could generate about 30 mW during normal walking.

The capacitor voltage balance of the sub-module is the necessary condition for normal operation of the STATCOM. In this paper, the topology and mathematical model of the STATCOM are introduced briefly, the instantaneous power characteristic and capacitor voltage balance principle are studied in detailed, and the balance control algorithm for real project is put forward, in this algorithm, the modified reference wave is got by delay the phase modulation wave by 90°, rather than calculate the sine value of the PLL phase. So the algorithm in this paper can realize in sub-module in real project, the simulation result and real project validated its efficient.

Many researchers dealt with single fault but in real life situations, combined action of two or more single faults are usually present. Multi-faults (two and three combinations) were studied by few researchers. Researchers have mostly studied the vibration behavior of a rotor with misalignment, unbalance and rub separately. This paper presents one such case, where multiple faults are considered together in a rotor system, i.e. misalignment, unbalance and rub. The objective of this paper is to experimentally investigate the vibration response of combined of three faults misalignment, unbalance and rub using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). FFT spectrum of combination of three faults misalignment, unbalance and rub show 1 X and 2 X are predominant and many sub harmonics are generated.1X peak represent unbalance, 2X peak represents misalignment and sub harmonics shows rub fault.

A new kind of algorithm of controller for eddy current retarder is designed in this paper. The eddy current retarder control system with traditional PID controller can't achieve a perfect performance in the rapid response. Back propagation (BP) neural network is one of artificial neural networks which has a good learning ability with a simple and recurrent structure, so it is suitable for controlling complicated eddy current retarder system. This paper introduces the principle, characteristics and learning algorithm of the BP neural network and designs the control system of eddy current retarder based on BP neural network PID controller by combining BP neural network and traditional PID. Making use of MATLAB, simulate this new kind of controller for eddy current retarder in the rapid response. Simulation results show it can improve the dynamic response performance and enhance the static precision compared to the traditional PID controller.

Prognostic capability is a very important character for PHM distinguishing from other diagnosis systems, fault prognostic method based on SVR was researched on in this paper. In order to solve kernel function parameters, penalty coefficient and insensitivity loss coefficient of SVR, improved QPSO was put forward to train SVR in this paper. And then a certain power supply combination in beam control system of a certain control and guide radar was taken as an example to collect voltage signal and forecasted, and its precision was very perfect and could satisfy prognostic demand.

Based on the currently most wide-used ARM and ZIGBEE-based intelligent application control system, a infrared self-learned remote controller was designed. This paper introduces the software structure and hardware structure of Infrared self-learned remote controller design scheme and extraordinarily expands the main interface design of Infrared self-learned remote controller and the long-distance control approach based on WEBKIT technology. According to the test result, the Infrared self-learned remote controller designed in this paper is capable to achieve both network remote and centralized control of applications equipped with remote controllers.

This paper takes DSP2812 as the core to develop the new reactive power compensation controller, realized the reactive power compensation, detection of the electricity distribution network information, and through mobile phone short message module TC35 to send mobile phone SMS information, remote control compensation capacitor, configuration parameters. The design has the characteristics of flexible and reliable, convenient and practical. This paper analyses the software and hardware structure of controller in detail, and the hardware principle and circuit and the software block diagram of the controller. Controller adopts the integrated control, to maximize the use of compensation equipment to improve the power quality of power grid.

With the advantage of high-security, energy-saving and high efficiency, the self-circulation evaporative cooling technology provides an ideal solution for the cooling problem of stator collector ring in hydro-generator. In this paper, the operation characteristics of self-circulation evaporative cooling system of single stator collector ring under different work conditions were analyzed by experiments. The experimental results show that the cooling performance of this new cooling system is satisfactory. The temperature distribution of stator collector ring and system pressure distribution were discussed on the basis of experimental data and those variation tendencies were concluded. The research results in this paper provide the basis for further researches and practical application of this new cooling system.

Cascading trips caused by flow transferring are the crucial reason for a lot of well-known blackouts. Aiming at the distance relay which is most applied in power grid, this paper puts forward an adaptive setting scheme to prevent cascading trips in complex power grid. In this paper, using two-port network model to fast calculating apparent impedance, and than calculating the apparent impedance change rate which is caused by flow transferring. According to the apparent impedance change rate modify the setting value which would contract the range of the impedance circle. After accomplishing the contraction, the relay action check will start. Through the process of modification and checking, the adaptive setting scheme which is not affected by the flow transferring will be formed. Taking the New England 10-unit 39-bus system which also used this method as the example, in this case, this method is confirmed by the BPA simulation.

By analysis the flow,when the coefficient is 0.59, the total cumulative time calories minimum number of the electric valve operations tends to 0, the system is the most efficient.

The variable reactor (L) and capacitor capacity (C) of the passive dynamic harmonic filter have influence on the filtering performance. The method of the L and C selecting is advanced in this paper. To select the optimal C, two conditions about the reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering need to satisfy. To analyze L, T-type equivalent circuit is constructed in this paper. With the optimized L and C of the passive dynamic harmonic filter, the harmonic filtering and the reactive power compensation are finished reliably.

In this paper, the performances of all the three kinds of Axial type Multi-Pole Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators (PMSG) namely Three-phase, Multi-phase or Five Phase and Double Stator fixed in Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) were investigated and compared in order to get an optimal system. MATLAB/Simulink had been used to model and simulate the wind turbine system together with all the three types Permanent Magnet Generators. It was observed from the result that with the increasing number of pole in both low and high wind speed, the five phase generator produced more power than the other two generators. In general, it was observed that the responses of the Multi-phase generator at both high and low speed wind showed promising aspect towards the system followed by Dual Stator. But with the change of the variables such as wind velocity, turbine height, radius, area together with the generator pole pairs and stator resistance, the optimum system should be chosen by considering the trade-off between different configurations which were firmly analyzed and described in this paper.

Sensorless control system for Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has been widely used in many areas for its simple installing and easy realizing advantages. This paper mainly analysis sensorless control system of PMSM, estimate the angel of rotor and speed based on flux observation initially, PLL and state observer were used to obtain the accurate angle. Use Simulation toolbox design of MATLAB to implement the simulation of control system and analyze the simulation results. The results verify the correctness and feasibility flux observation method that used in paper.

Since the number of experiment cannot be too much, bootstrap is introduced in the paper, then using Genetic Algorithm, an optimum parameter combination has been received.
