Because the winding resistance of small power transformer is far bigger than the inductance of winding, it is difficult to obtain the leakage inductance parameters of small power transformer winding accurately by traditional experimental methods. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a method of obtaining leakage inductance by applying step voltage, establishes the T-type equivalent circuit model of transformer, carries out the measurement experiment of leakage inductance, and carries out Simulink simulation with the parameters obtained by applying step voltage.
